    This channel is part of the International Association of Facial Growth Guidance. A nonprofit organisation which aims to raise awareness of alternative orthodontic methods and ideas, which too few people are informed of.
    The main aim of the platform is to precipitate debate on why teeth are crooked. Most people are not aware that (in most cases) the dental profession has little or no idea why the teeth are crooked, or for that matter why children need major surgery. Clearly there are genetic issues, however the science is clear, the weight of quality research papers, in respected peer reviewed journals, show that our modern lifestyle is a more important factor and most importantly we can do something about this.
    This is especially important as sleep apnoea, TMD, forward head posture and a most otolaryngology problems are implicated as other symptoms of the same underlying problem.

In the pursuit of the truth it is normal in science to make speculative comments which may not have full scientific support, and we welcome feedback and discussion.

    One of the most attractive parts of orthotropics ideas to me, is how much sense it makes in context of Darwinian natural selection. Teeth have had a long time to evolve to work well. It’s like people go to the gym to be healthy and eat healthy foods because our bodies evolved a certain way. Orthotropics is just aiming to train the muscles and teeth and face to be the way nature intended them.

      @@robertimmanuel577 i really like it. i'm buying organic meat and when it's fresh it has almost no smell and the taste is quite neutral but also specific in a way. but it's more about the whole process of eating it that is great, it feels so right to do and i can eat like 200-300g in one sitting without a problem, while if it was cooked it would be too dry to eat that much alone. cooked meat just tastes wrong for me now, like it's completely destroyed
      i wouldn''t eat something like supermarket conventionally raised meat though. that meat comes from sick animals and would probably make you sick too, and the taste and smell would be bad
      also some parts of the animal are more tender and soft while others are really rough. you can eat the softer meat with no problems, and the rougher meat you can grind for example

    It’s a fallacy to believe that eating hard foods will help develop a strong jaw/face. But that’s the equivalent to saying you have to life heavy in order to get big, which isn’t true at all. You have to challenge your body and jaw from your baseline (for most people..they’re sedentary) weather that’s with hard foods or chew more thoroughly/longer time. It’s similar to low reps with heavy weight or high reps with low-moderate weight, both will work and provide results. I’d discuss this with anyone who thinks eating rough foods is the only way to develop or grow jaws

      Actually the correct statement is: "You can build muscle mass despite not being able to put on more weight to the exercise". You have to lift heavy to build muscle mass. Our muscles get bigger to be capable of exerting more force. Besides that, you will have healthier joints by lifting heavy.

    • @kris4783
      @kris4783 Год назад +1

      @@painkillergs9834no you do not have to lift heavy. You can build the same amount of muscle, or even more with light/moderate weight with high reps, high intensity, mind muscle connection, proper form, slow and controlled reps, low resting between sets. Way too many ego lifters lifting heavy with shitty form, that make zero progress in the gym. If you do not believe me I can send you my physique as proof that light/moderate weight is king for hyperthrophy.

    • @painkillergs9834
      @painkillergs9834 Год назад +1

      @@kris4783 You just proved my point. You say that you can build muscle with high reps, high intensity, mind muscle connection, slow and controlled reps, low resting between sets. Meanwhile if you choose to lift heavy you just have to lift heavy and you will grow. Just the act of picking up something heavy for a couple seconds is enough stimulation for your body to become at least a bit stronger, and that is just from picking up something heavy. I'm not saying that you can't build muscle with high reps, but certainly It is not the most optimal way. Your joints and tendons will suffer from that kind of training and if you don't notice on time or you just ignore that little pain that appeared on the insertion of your triceps then you could have to be off the gym for 6 months in worst cases and no matter how much you try to keep that muscle by doing some controlled trainings, you will lose some of It.
