trackmania turbo is mostly popular, it has 200 tracks you could choose there are also grandcanyon, dirty down valley, lagoon and stadium the one shown on the screen was stadium.
TMNF is the most popular with and active community today also.

Sunrise best Trackmania change my mind.
I love all the trackmania games besides the DS games but still, stadium is the best environment which you dont have in both original and sunrise. So I cant pick those 2 as my favorite, allthough comparing those 2 they are pretty equal to me.
The game that bothers me most is tm turbo since it contains STM's that are cheated by using slow motion (not that I tried getting those yet, or ever will). I usually go for author medals and turbo demotivates me in a way.

seems like a pretty good game though. I got the subscription for a year but ended up barely playing because I started trackmania original somehow, now I moved on to sunrise and probably go trough the series again and by the time the tm2020 subscription ends you can bet I'm ready for tm2020.
I dont mind the subscription though, there is a lot worse out there. Look at ea games. +1000€ for all sims4 games (expansion packs that mostly already existed in the sims3 but on purpose left out to milk out money from people) and if you are tired of it for a while and go inactive for a few years then it's account deleted and you can rebuy everything you owned (if you dont pirate them the second time around like most sane people would after that scam)

i know that when googling TrackMania United Forever it says it was released in 2006 but that's actually TrackMania United. United Forever was released in 2008.
edit: also build to race was released in 2010, not 2011, and on Wii not on PC

trackmania nations forever is f2p, and so is the most recent game (but only a small portion of the most recent one, you need to pay monthly to get all of that game's content)

It's the environment I struggled with most to get all author medals in tm original, but lots of satisfaction when I got them all.
