Got turbo for free on ps4 back on the day and absolutely adored it for its multiplayer lobbies with everyone fighting for the fastest lap, then a few days ago I tried 2020 release and was disappointed with the multiplayer features as a free to play player
Trackmania Turbo, has the best cars and theme, it's really incredible. It's unfortunate they didn't carry out the theme, it sucks cuz the trackbuilder was not the same.
idk if you know this but you could switch it to the "classic" editor, iirc it was somewhere in the bar that comes from the top... (read it in a steam review)
Trackmania Turbo was the only game in the series that was tailor made for consoles, unlike the ones on Wii and DS, which were basically downgraded ports of the original PC version of United.
My favorite are TrackMania United Forever and Trackmania² games. Love all the diversity of all environments (this why I loved, I love and will love again TM), the musics and a little bit the track editor too !
Trackmania is easily the most underrated game! It is sooo good it is hard to explain. So many great memories when we first learned about it about a decade ago now - I remember playing this game all weekend with my kids taking turns trying to beat each others scores... I still come back to this game to play very often and there are many levels that I still have not fully completed so lots of new tracks to still explore. this game series is a solid 11/10.
@@w花b probably explains why trackmania got worse and worse with each entry. and why nadeo seems to struggle with updating their games now(tm2020 and tm² are still good but not unbelievably good like original or united forever were.), with aging staff and the new employees being mistreated and trapped, when they just... don't leave altoghether.
Turbo is a great game, but something you missed is just how difficult it is. Its accesible in a pick-up-and-play sense, sure, but if you want to access the later tracks you have to gold medal everything prior, and that is a serious undertaking. I platinumed it a while ago and it was, without doubt, my greatest gaming achievement.
TMS is still my all time favorite for sure. I love the sports car and the tracks that you can easily clap 900+ speed. first played it in like 06 or 07 on a athlon 64 windows 2000 pc
i definitely wouldn't be lumping TMO, TMS and TMUF into one entry. There are huge differences between them, especially in the track design, menu design and music. Sunrise is one of two trackmania games with licensed music (the other being Turbo) which automatically puts it above the rest imo. Also i feel like TMO is a very scuffed game in general, full of that early 2000s eurojank. The handling is not that good (and not in a challenging way like Coast), the maps are super basic and the music is really repetitive. Sunrise imo is the best, it's got the music, it's got the game modes (so many game modes), it's got the tracks! Since United the rack design has been heavily standardised in the "Nadeo Style" which TMO and TMS didn't have, but Sunrise's design was actually good.
never played sunrise unfortunately... but tmo is too good for me(except the ui which....... im not even even sure nadeo has progressed in this departement tbh)
I totally agree with you on Trackmania Turbo 2016! The way the different cars and regions feel so different. The way it has different flags and languages everywhere you look. The international feel! The arcade aesthetic! The colors, the music! It's my favorite driving game ever. I got the demo a long time ago, and even just the first 5 levels locked in Hotseat was enough to entertain me for like a year before my mom got the full game for my birthday. Thanks to that, I MASTERED Canyon Grand Drift, and to this day, it's my ride or die. I'm in the top 100 in level #005. I bet I'd have a world record if the game was less popular. I already planned to go to France in the future, but what you said about Trackmania being really popular there makes me wanna go even more to experience a tournament or something.
I love the environment but I DESPISE the car, Worst in the franchise. Although I do find it weird that he praises lagoon in Turbo because Lagoon in TM2 is more feature rich.
@@scrooge201 I'm in top 2% of TM2 Valley players worldwide, top 9% in Stadium, and used to be no 1 in Africa. If I think Lagoon is too hard, it's too hard.
I grew up with Trackmania Nations and United, both on pc, I remember seeing Trackmania Turbo on Steam and thinking 'hmm, looks weird' and then never touching it or hearing opinions on it, what a shame, hearing your thoughts on it really makes me wanna get it, especially after trying Trackmania 2020 and being kinda disappointed, especially by the ridiculous monetization bullshit they're doing with it... Great video!
Too bad you didn't discuss and rank Trackmania 2003 and Sunrise as separate games. Putting it in United Forever altogether is wrong a bit, despite the fact that United Forever has environments from all trackmania 1 games, the tracks are different from United Forever, Trackmania 2003 and Sunrise had different tracks from United Forever, United Forever just has all the environments (desert, rally, snow, island, bay, coast, stadium) but the tracks are completely different, interface different, music different. Because United Forever is not a game that has all the tracks from all trackmania 1 games - it has all the types of environments as a compilation of it (like u said in the video) but not the exact tracks - the tracks for United Forever are new. So why rank only United forever and no Sunrise or 2003 separately? Moreover 2003 had no time of day thing (sunrise, day, sunset, night options) and hence no car headlights light. To prove that United Forever has new tracks in even old environments: that Great Chinees Wall road in Snow environment in United Forever - it wasn't in Trackmania 2003 Snow environments, so there wasn't such a track. If I would rank 2003 and Sunrise as separate games from United Forever, my number 1 would be Sunrise: it has the best music (the music in united forever's island bay and coast is forgettable and mediocre), the best main menu, the best interface, tracks especiallly with eXtreme patch. Moreover United Forever doesn't have Puzzle and Platform modes (did u say Platform mode only for Stadium levels? Sunrise had Island, Bay and Coast Platform levels, here i'm not sure, i thought United had puzzles and platforms but Forever had not ) and Platform in Sunrise I adored almost more than Racing itself lol, thats super important. Trackmania 2003 would be 3-4 place. Why would I tell that much about it? Well, "getting United Forever you will get ultimate trackmania 1 experience" , NOPE. Getting United Forever you will get only United Forever experience, to have Trackmania 1 ultimate experience you have to play trackmania 2003 and Sunrise itselves for its own tracks, menus and soundtrack completely different from United Forever and puzzle and platform modes. The problem is 2003 and Sunrise were only win XP compatible, but gaming community created version that run on win 10 . you can find it on site like abandanware that has 2003 and Sunrise downloads with zip archives, u just unpack it and have the game already tinkered with dgVoodoo for you so it runs in win 10. So my top is: 1) Sunrise 2) United Forever 3) Trackmania 2 (complete pack) 4) Trackmania 2003 5) United (w/o being Forever it still had puzzles etc iirc, in Forever for some reason the get rid of puzzles and platform, I might be wrong) 6) Turbo (The only trackmania game not made by Nadeo director itself but by Ubisoft ppl and that was a scandal, the Nadeo Trackmania father was enraged , Turbo failed in sales and Ubi let nadeo make next game as always so they did tm2 lagoon after turbo, find some info about it, its an interesting read, thats why Turbo has a completely different vibe because it was not developed by nadeo team but by assigned ubisoft ppl) 7) Nations 8) all other console ports
Yeah United Forever is actually a downgrade over the standalone games (with the exceptions of Nations ESWC as that game was barebones) On top of the soundtrack being significantly smaller & worse (and the way the music system works as it restarts or skips to the next song everytime you get a medal), car skins were worse too, as well as the fact that they removed an entire gamemode (Crazy) as well as Cup mode. 7 Ghosts was also no longer an option either, Medal skins were gone too.
@@BDozer666 United Forever is actually superior despite the downgrade. Think about it, if you want to play the tracks from Nations Forever, play them in United Forever, they're the same game, just with additional content
@@ChaseMC215 I didn't even mention or compare Nations Forever to United Forever (basically same game, Nations is just free Stadium only version). I was talking about the games that came before them (Nations ESWC being a separate game from Nations Forever).
@MrSatanislav at least the steam version of United Forever comes with the puzzle, stunt and platform campaigns, however, I also recall forever being a downgrade in some regards from "normal" united, e.g. some elements disappearing from the livery editor
A few inaccuracies here: Build to Race for Wii had online multiplayer. Also, it’s not a port of United; the physics engine is completely different and so are the tracks. In addition, if I remember correctly, TrackMania DS did have multiplayer, but it was local only and not online.
i'm a tmnf guy, maybe i'll upgrade to tmuf one day. i like the trackbuilding options of tm2020 in theory, but in practice the trackbuilder being locked behind a subscription sucks. the whole live service aspect of tm2020 generally really turns me off from it, i wish there was a one-time payment option to get access to the trackbuilder and a set of standard tracks, basically like tmnf, and the subscription allows access to live content, like the seasonal campaigns and track of the day. i feel like tm2020 lacks one crucial aspect, and that's tracks being hunted for years. people still try to get new world records for tmnf maps and just by saying the mapname, everybody knows or can easily figure out which map it is. in tm2020, on the other hand, there don't seem to be those standard tracks, the closest thing probably being the seasonal campaigns. we're way more likely to hear about some crazy cut on E05 rather than a new WR run on some campaign track from last year. idk, maybe i'm just biased by watching too many of wirtual WR history videos, but to me it feels like there was this culture around constantly improving on year-old records and now it's shifted to trying to be the fastest player of the day and of the season and then never seeing those maps again, no history to them.
I have TMNF (Trackmania Nations Forever) and Trackmania 2020. I enjoy both of them. My fav. track on TMNF has to be C05-Endurance. My fav on TM2020 might be Drum Beating(Track of the day for Feb 17 2023)
If you didn't know tm United forever is just tmnf but you get more and you have to pay. You can play on tmnf servers and play the tmnf tracks and even more but it costs £22.
*Before i watch the Rankings i want to state that Trackmania should be renowed as the GOAT of Racing games as it has the best longevity of ALL Racing games and still has good titles unlike Nfs that died in 2009/ GT that died after GT4 Forza that died after the first Horizon this is the best Racing game etc*
I first discovered Trackmania when I was looking for interesting PC racing games back in 2003, and stumbled upon the first game in box, and when I realised it was an arcade racing game with a robust track editor, I was hyped to try it out for myself. I never thought back then the series would take off into an entire franchise. It's a real shame what Ubisoft has done to it nowadays, but at least I still have the older games on Steam. I haven't tried a lot of Trackmania Turbo, since the required installation of uPlay put me off a bit.
Honestly given that United-era and Turbo-era are kinda fundamentally the same game (I think the Stadium physics are even basically identical?) I really wish they could one day just compile everything they did prior to 2020 into one refined package with the better interface of Turbo, the REALLY robust editor of 2, and completeness/ease of sharing from United.(It bothers me especially that despite 2 and Turbo sharing the same environments, they updated 2 to have new blocks that Turbo never got, so it's like, we have a 'better game' but which lacks certain really cool track options.)
Great to see Turbo getting some recognition. It’s the game that introduced me to the series. I honestly gave up on the game twice. Finally after 7 years of playing I completed the game. I had 135/200 trackmaster medals so decided to go for it. After getting them all and unlocking Super Solo mode I just had to laugh. Nope. Not playing that. But the base game is phenomenal. It has memorable tracks. Some great ones. A couple terrible ones. 167, 170, 172 and 180 come to mind. Absolutely horrible. But overall it’s a 10/10 for me.
Trackmania turbo was the first of the series that i played on my xbox prob around when it first came out, and i still play it now every once in a while, and it absolutely hooked me man, i loved the stats the it would show too at the end of a race for global, country and state, and i would always try to be the fastest in my state, ahh good times.
Interesting video, as a TM veteran my list would be : 1/ Desert !! Yes I put Desert as a whole game because the very first orginal demo of Trackmania around summer 2003 (correct me if I'm wrong I can find no informations on the web about this demo !!) was Desert only and lasted for at leat a month but I think even more, and man what a shock it was ! Legendary environnement ! The heart of TM imo. 2/ Trackmania United Forever (humongous online content, you had whole new games inside the game, like the Stunt mode for exemple) 3/ Trackmania (the very first one) 4/ Trackmania Original 5/ Trackmania Canyon 6/ Trackmania Sunrise 7/ Trackmania Nation 8/ Trackmania 2020
9 months too late, but something that would probably feel like it's worth getting the subscription for 2020, would probably be what Nadeo did with NF and UF, you get Stadium for free, but if you get the subscription, you get access to Valley, Canyon, and Lagoon, and like with their current model, you're able to keep the tracks after your sub expires.
My top 3: 1 - Trackmania Nations Forever 2 - Trackmania2 3 - Trackmania Turbo Forever is first for me because its the cheapest way to get into Trackmania, since its free on steam, and its the game which made the scenario popular, so it holds a good place even not being diverse or having other racing styles, its has the most active community, insane amount of tracks and its easy to mod and get even crazier maps.. Trackmania2 is because of the bundle, Canyon, Valley and Stadium, all of them have great graphics, less handling glitches like Nations and awesome handling, my favorite is Canyon too. Then Trackmania Turbo in third place just becausee it doesn't have a good multiplayer, its kinda abandoned but its single played mode saves it, the graphics are insane, scenarios are well designed and beautiful and we have variety of cars that handle differently.. Its a solid game too.
I absolutely love Turbo, I have no idea why they abandoned everything about it so quickly (it wasn't even really updated) or why it wasn't more popular
Putting TrackMania Turbo over TM2 is kinda triggering XD. Because TrackMania Turbo is basically TrackMania 2. But TrackMania Turbo, because it had to work on console as well, has less features as tm2. Tm2 had custom player made 3d models, retextures (mods) , the ability to mod almost everything, advanced ingame chats, a meshmodeller and on and on. TrackMania Turbo has nothing of that and therefore is like a castrated version of TM2 which has broken legs and arms
I think it's odd to treat TMUF as a single game when it really is three separate games in one. I also disagree about Turbo being even in the top 3, it just doesn't play like a TM game as much. Decent list otherwise
I got into the series back when United was the main game and to this day that era of the community is simply unmatched. I love jumping on 2 from time to time but the community feels splintered now and I entirely blame Ubisoft. If you’re a big fan of those roller coaster tracks and haven’t already played it, F-Zero GX might be right up your alley.
I played all TM since the first one ; and i can't say tm Sunrise have been the most important in my gamer life !! but te ambiance of comunity was better at the first one ! i played all all of tem and still got tm turbo wich as you say is incredible ! today i play again on the series xbox and felt blasted again of what it became !!! really it's a part car game history and this history is far from its end !! long life to TM !
3:40 fyi: you can always play local multiplayer if everyone has the card and you can even play it with download play (only one person has the game card) with almost no limitations but the loading times suck.
Funny to hear you say Lagoon is your favorite environment in TM:Turbo. I put it in hard last place. I want to cave my skull in on some of those awful sand / beach tracks, the handling on them is excruciating and hitting the stupid low palm trees and rocks for the 100th time is not fun. The rollercoaster stuff is ok I guess.
@@AYTWICE No. The environments (and iirc some but not all of the maps) are, but not the game. An entire game mode from sunrise is missing from TMUF. The soundtrack (TMS has an amazing soundtrack) is also different. If we expand this to other games that are supposedly part of TMUF (according to the video), we get different car physics (ESWC stadium car is a bit lighter than later editions) or different water behaviour, resulting in wr routes for the same track differing between TMO and TMUF. If pre-united TM games get lumped in with United, Turbo and TM² are the same game as well.
I agree about TM2020, even now that it has so much more content and new cars. I hate the whole live service concept of it, it should've been a finished product at release. Also not really a fan of the whole plasticky/toy car environment going on, but that's purely subjective, at least it's very original in that aspect. My personal ranking would be almost the same as yours, except that Sunrise will always be my favourite because that and TMO were part of my childhood, so I'd swap Turbo with United Forever here. Also agree that even the worst games are still neat, just yesterday I tried out the DS games for the first time and while they're obviously nowhere near any of the other games, it's still just cozy to have that on a handheld. Would've probably loved them if I had them as a kid.
not being able to change controls, annoying voice commentators "what are you doing?", the music is too over the top and changes every map restart estore. I can totally see why it got mixed reviews.
While I really like love for TM, especially when it also effects non-Stadium environments (I don't hate Stadium, more so the degree to which it gets treated as the sole TM experience), there are some issues with this video regarding choice of games. Why do we get the two DS and the Wii game yet all of pre-United PC Trackmania gets lumped in with United? If pre-united TM games get lumped in with United, Turbo and TM² are the same game as well. As somebody who enjoys Turbo, I hope you get how bizarre this is.
i agree, sunrise/sunrise xtreme, trackmania classic/original, and nations eswc/nations forever should have been kept separated from the united/united forever game
Uhh. Im on ps4 so ive pretty much only played turbo. Its good but i wouldn't say the best. Ive tried 2020 once and i think its way better. It looks better, handles better, has a way better track editor and interface. But thats probably because my fav environment is the stadium
It's pretty rich that ubisoft is trying to make Trackmania a subscription live-service game, when they've been releasing the same game on the same engine for nearly 20 years, and we can just go back and play those games for the exact same features and only one purchase. Luckily it doesn't seem like too many people bought into this, at least I hope so. I'm so sick of this trend in our world where everything is a subscription. But hey, I guess we will "own nothing and be happy" these days.
Personal top 3 is TM² Canyon, TM 2020 and TM² Stadium. Tried a bunch of the others and those either felt unsatisfying (most of the TM United Forever environments and TM² Valley) or janky (TM Nations Forever Stadium environment with more consistently disruptive bugs compared to later Stadium versions).
My list: 6. TM 2020: an OK game on its own, trash pay to play model. The interface is also poorly done and like you said only one environment. 5. TM Turbo - while the game could be great, I was incredibly annoyed by the commenters. Like - you make the smallest of mistakes and you're told "what are you doing?!" and it's all the time and I didn't find a way to turn that off. I also didn't like the soundtrack to it and it changed every time you restarted the track - why would they do that? It takes immersion out of gameplay. And the last thing - could be a bug of my version but I couldn't find the control settings. It was annoying not to be able to properly play it with my gamepad. 4. TM 2 Stadium and Valley - didn't like those on release, especially due to so many multilap maps. But the community really turned them around and they are what I play the most these days of all TM franchise 3. TM 2 Canyon: this felt like a AAA project done by a small studio. The graphics looked great, the controls felt refined, the tracks looked fantastic. 2. TM united, United forever, Nations Forever: great games, everything you already said in the video applies. 1. Trackmania Nations ESWC 2006. A amazing game. And it was 100% free! I was amazed at that time that a free game has quality this high and has 90 tracks. But the soundtrack... it was incredible. My favorite in the TM franchise. "Tictac" by Doo in it really gave you the feeling of urgency and "Follow your dream and you'll achieve it". It's available in TM 2 Stadium right now by the way in one of the servers\additions with the original music. Highly recommended.
The new TrackMania game has a subscription model, because they didn't want to further fragment the community across multiple games and wanted to keep on improving the same game for an indefinite amount of time. Also, all tiers are reasonably priced once you consider that club access allows you to create your own servers without extra charge and those need to get maintained, which costs money. edit: I take some of what I said here back, specifically related to reasonable pricing, since they discontinued standard access (which was the best option for most players) and limited starter access even more to a point where they only allow white and green campaign maps for free. I feel like locking out campaign maps behind a paywall is just greedy considering it's taking place in the modernized stadium environment, which used to be a cheap one time payment with TM² stadium and free in Nations Forever.
Turbo is the best hands down and the best course in my opinion is down and dirty valley track 60 and I ended up getting the canadian record on it although rollercoaster lagoon is the best environment
My favorite is TM2 especially valley. Turbo had the best aesthetics and overall vibe. But TM2 just has a way more capable editor. That results in much more and better community tracks. Also I like the handling of the Tm2 cars a bit more than that of turbo. But turbo has the best single player campaign.

Ok well I disagree strongly with where you put tm 2020, like you can think what you think, but also you should've mentioned that it was also only 10 per year, also tm 2020 has the most user created tracks aside from tmnf and it really is just honestly my favorite by a lot
Track editor in 2020 is not behind a subscription. You buy the version with it, and have it forever. What you don't get is new tracks made by players once it is done. You essentially buy the acces to community created content.
my man, you cant rank turbo and maniaplanet differently, as a main turbo player, the only things going for it are the decorations and over the top arcade eastethic and the campaign, for absolutely every other sense, Tm2 is just the superior version
Hates on tm2020 for only being stadium, proceeds to say that stadium is the traditional style for trackmania games like 5 minutes later. Make up ur mind goddamn.
I used to defend TMNF a lot but looking back it’s really not that great. The visuals didn’t really age well, the game is buggy and most tracks aren’t that fun to drive
Latest Trackmania 2020 is very MEDIOCRE , pixulated, lo definition environments ? can not compare to Trackmania Lagoon or Trackmania Canyon or Traclmania Nations or Sunrise in anything, is it even done by same developer?
Turbo (2016) is very underrated, single player portion of the game is massive and packed with some crazy tracks. Also the visuals and the overall style of the game is just great.

Get it. Seriously, it's very good and challenging.
So my top is:
1) Sunrise
2) United Forever
3) Trackmania 2 (complete pack)
4) Trackmania 2003
5) United (w/o being Forever it still had puzzles etc iirc, in Forever for some reason the get rid of puzzles and platform, I might be wrong)
6) Turbo (The only trackmania game not made by Nadeo director itself but by Ubisoft ppl and that was a scandal, the Nadeo Trackmania father was enraged , Turbo failed in sales and Ubi let nadeo make next game as always so they did tm2 lagoon after turbo, find some info about it, its an interesting read, thats why Turbo has a completely different vibe because it was not developed by nadeo team but by assigned ubisoft ppl)
7) Nations
8) all other console ports
Yeah United Forever is actually a downgrade over the standalone games (with the exceptions of Nations ESWC as that game was barebones)
On top of the soundtrack being significantly smaller & worse (and the way the music system works as it restarts or skips to the next song everytime you get a medal), car skins were worse too, as well as the fact that they removed an entire gamemode (Crazy) as well as Cup mode. 7 Ghosts was also no longer an option either, Medal skins were gone too.
Trackmania original is unforgetable !!!
@@BDozer666
United Forever is actually superior despite the downgrade.
I played track mania ds for hours as a kid, and this video has inspired me to get back into the series, these new graphics look crazy!
Nice video :) Must say TMNF is my favourite because of the community and competitive multiplayer.
If you didn't know tm United forever is just tmnf but you get more and you have to pay. You can play on tmnf servers and play the tmnf tracks and even more but it costs £22.
The records in TMNF are amazing because they’ve been hunted since 2008. Every track is just legendary.
Finally someone wo also not like stadium
I would personally place united forever at top, though the reason might be nostalgia
Surprised you got Turbo at top 1, it's super underrated
I fucken love trackmania turbo, just got top 20 world on #87. fucken amazing flow gameplay. good to see someone put some respect on my boys name.
7:26 Here we are in November 2023 and they added the SnowCar from TMO and plan to add the Rally and Desert cars next year
and rally got announced already now for late february
@@Dicaso9 Really? Cant’t wait!
Idc turbo better game
@@geoprancerYou had the perfect opportunity to say rally instead of really hahaha
Trackmania turbo was the first of the series that i played on my xbox prob around when it first came out, and i still play it now every once in a while, and it absolutely hooked me man, i loved the stats the it would show too at the end of a race for global, country and state, and i would always try to be the fastest in my state, ahh good times.
turbo (2016) was my first trackmania game. love to see its your #1
Interesting video, as a TM veteran my list would be :
1/ Desert !!
2/ Trackmania United Forever (humongous online content, you had whole new games inside the game, like the Stunt mode for exemple)
3/ Trackmania (the very first one)
4/ Trackmania Original
5/ Trackmania Canyon
6/ Trackmania Sunrise
7/ Trackmania Nation
8/ Trackmania 2020
7:27 But there's Snow and Rally Car...
check release date
9 months too late, but something that would probably feel like it's worth getting the subscription for 2020, would probably be what Nadeo did with NF and UF, you get Stadium for free, but if you get the subscription, you get access to Valley, Canyon, and Lagoon, and like with their current model, you're able to keep the tracks after your sub expires.
Stadium is really overated, i think it is my least favorite. I think i really agree with this list
I've played Trackmania since 2006 and always only Stadium lol.
Eswc, 2020 and nations forever are my favorites
same!
Turbo 2016 actually got me into the franchise, my dad got it on release and him and i have played ever since.
My top 3:
1 - Trackmania Nations Forever
2 - Trackmania2
3 - Trackmania Turbo
Forever is first for me because its the cheapest way to get into Trackmania, since its free on steam, and its the game which made the scenario popular, so it holds a good place even not being diverse or having other racing styles, its has the most active community, insane amount of tracks and its easy to mod and get even crazier maps.. Its a solid game too.
my first tm was nations forever
and my other tm i played was united forever
i loved it as a child! this series makes me nostalgic
I absolutely love Turbo, I have no idea why they abandoned everything about it so quickly (it wasn't even really updated) or why it wasn't more popular
i absolutely loved tm turbo, it's sad you don't find many people playing nowadays. and that ubisoft gave up on it for a subscription game
😂😂 i agree on this but both are great games
Yeah but turbo has so much character to it the vibes are immaculate
brooo tm2 canyon is a goated game, used to play that heaps as a kid
Still got my copy of the original Trackmania (before TMO) and Sunrise, still play them. Great series.
3:40 fyi: you can always play local multiplayer if everyone has the card and you can even play it with download play (only one person has the game card) with almost no limitations but the loading times suck.
finally
justice for trackmania turbo
Funny to hear you say Lagoon is your favorite environment in TM:Turbo. I put it in hard last place. I want to cave my skull in on some of those awful sand / beach tracks, the handling on them is excruciating and hitting the stupid low palm trees and rocks for the 100th time is not fun. The rollercoaster stuff is ok I guess.
No Trackmania Sunrise? thats still my preferred version.
thats a part of tmuf
@@AYTWICE yes and no I guess? as far as I know, the original Trackmania games and United have both different music and different tracks\maps.
If pre-united TM games get lumped in with United, Turbo and TM² are the same game as well.
nations forever has always been my favourite
mine is the original Nations ESWC
Would've probably loved them if I had them as a kid.
good to see someone agrees with me and the mixed reviews on steam for trackmania turbo continue to puzzle me
not being able to change controls, annoying voice commentators "what are you doing?", the music is too over the top and changes every map restart
estore. I can totally see why it got mixed reviews.
Trackmania Nations Forever Team!!!
For me Sunrise Extreme ist the best, then comes original.
Nations is... ok. Stadium isn't that great in my opinion.
they lost me when they startet with the whole Stadium theme, all i thought was, this looks bland and boring.
Now that they're starting to add new cars to TM2020, has your opinion on it changed?
Uhh. Im on ps4 so ive pretty much only played turbo. Its good but i wouldn't say the best. Ive tried 2020 once and i think its way better. It looks better, handles better, has a way better track editor and interface. But thats probably because my fav environment is the stadium
If he remade this list today, TM2020 would probably be much higher up as it has gotten so many more features.
Turbo + Steam Deck = ❤MAGIC❤
I had very low fate for turbo to get to top, its my favourite game and i always knew its underreated
Sunrise is still my favorite.
TMUF, for its stunt mode on all 7 environments, is for me, number 1.
I had almost all of the author medals in Turbo DS, was grinding it 10 years ago... ohhh damn the memories
My list:
But the community really turned them around and they are what I play the most these days of all TM franchise
TM 2020 has 2 new cars now, you should check them out
The new TrackMania game has a subscription model, because they didn't want to further fragment the community across multiple games and wanted to keep on improving the same game for an indefinite amount of time.
I feel like locking out campaign maps behind a paywall is just greedy considering it's taking place in the modernized stadium environment, which used to be a cheap one time payment with TM² stadium and free in Nations Forever.
yeah I think it's understandable, but the question here is more about the quality of the games, not if they make money or not
Turbo is the best hands down and the best course in my opinion is down and dirty valley track 60 and I ended up getting the canadian record on it although rollercoaster lagoon is the best environment
My favorite is TM2 especially valley. Turbo had the best aesthetics and overall vibe. But TM2 just has a way more capable editor. That results in much more and better community tracks. Also I like the handling of the Tm2 cars a bit more than that of turbo. But turbo has the best single player campaign.
has your opinion changed at all about tm20 with the cars being added
I am playing Trackmania 2020.
I plan to buy Trackmania canyon next.

Trackmania Turbo is awesome
I Start Playing Trackmania back when Sunrise was released...great game and Xtreme is a good Add-On
- Nations forever was great because free to play and have a good model for a f2p game
- United Forever was a Complication of all Trackmania Games
Trackmania Wii was very fun and the First Console Version of the Genre
Turbo Build to Race for DS, was my Favorite DS Racing Game
Trackmania 2 was very well and Recieved the Lagon Envioment After the Trackmania Turbo Release
Trackmania Turbo great Game...and a very good Console Race Game As Well...still Play this on my Ps5 (sadly that they dont port this to the Nintendo Switch)
bro i watch ludwig a lot and noticed that he played a game called trackmania, so i looked it up on the ps store and found two trackmania games, one which is turbo and the other one is just trach mania, but for some reason trackmania hasn’t released yet. but turbo is free for the ps plus extra, i doenloaded it and wasn’t sure it’s a good trackmania game(made me paranoid for some reason) but now i’m kinda rested lmao. btw can i play other people’s custom maps? i started playing the game two days ago.

Trackmania DS is the first game i ever played😄
The funny thing is tm turbo is the only one ive ever played
Trackmania Turbo had a game mode with colision in multiplayer local ❤, is the best Trackmania game
I'm played trackmania when i have a 5years old
my man, you cant rank turbo and maniaplanet differently, as a main turbo player, the only things going for it are the decorations and over the top arcade eastethic and the campaign, for absolutely every other sense, Tm2 is just the superior version
3:21, actually there's a stunt mode in tmuf
i don't like in stadium 2 that every is so glossy, looks like everything is covered in oil.
Latest Trackmania 2020 is very MEDIOCRE , pixulated, lo definition environments ? can not compare to Trackmania Lagoon or Trackmania Canyon or Traclmania Nations or Sunrise in anything, is it even done by same developer?
Sunrise Island is still my fav
Hold up how is this such a good video but not that popular 😂 could use some time stamps though :)
I lovee Trackmania.
I'm Trackmania United Forever Forever
My favorite is canyon as well!
