I remember I was so excited cause I thought KH2 was gonna win and in the end nocturne won for either best RPG or game of the year. I can't remember. And since I was like 12 and a huge fanboy i got super butthurt. but it inspired me to play the game just to be like "yeah I played it and it sucked so fuck you G4" but then I played it. and since I've played every single game multiple times and just love the series. and if it wasn't for this awards show and my fanboyness I never would have discovered the beauty of Shin Megami Tensei. so thank you G4 and thank you sir for finding and puting this on RUclips for me to remember and relive.

There seems to be something inherently wrong with how KH2 was made that has guaranteed every port is problematic. The PS4 port at least got patched to become the definitive version of the game by far, but every other port ranges from very buggy to barely playable. The other games (except 3, which was made in Unreal, and even that game's Switch port suffers from lol cloud) have issues when ported as well, but 2 is by far the worst of them all.
As someone who has recently beaten SMT: Nocturne for the first time, I can definitely confirm that Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne™️ would never take advantage of my innate gullibility (aside from Demons scamming me for at least 5000 Macca)

Considering how absolutely disastrous the Kingdom Hearts II Switch port is, I'd say that Kingdom Hearts II has again screwed us over yet again.
