That run she made toward the end, placed more notes in a run that lasted about 4-5 seconds than most guitarists can play in several minutes. Absolutely amazing talent!
Well how about the riff in Dragon Forces cover I've never seen ANYTHING like that and she was only 15! Tell you what I wonder what Herman Li REALLY thought about her? Yeah I'm gonna take up knitting. This girl ain't from this world. She may have been born here but her Soul came from elsewhere.
Yes she makes a band and not prepared for so long time to make a Solo Guitar album as anyone expected i think but is a nice band with great members and a very nice singer. Hope she continues did some guitar covers again but who knows? I like your reaction cause you look surprised for her skills even if you listen and react and to other covers she did as Through the fire and flames her biggest success!!Happy new year Michael!
I think the noise you were referring to is in the backing track. She is just really into this. She said this was the most difficult piece for her to play. Steve Vai congratulated her on this and featured it for a while on his website.
I think this is her best cover because it brings all of her talent to light, and her body seems to agree. She gets to be technical but it asks her to be liberated in expression and really exuberant, like Vai himself, and she goes for it with complete success. Technicality can blow your mind, but it's songs like this that blow you wide open. I'd almost hate to take shrooms and listen to this because I don't think I'll ever be ready for that. It's a trip enough to hear it sober!
Spin Twice is all garage grungy type of stuff. What I like is the way she has intergrated herself into the band and they are playing as a group, not Tina S and the boys in the band coming a raw second. You have to really listen for the guitar work but it is there and is rewarding more so as it is original music composed by the band.
This one and Gary Moore - The Loner are my favorite of her guitar covers because they really showcase that she can play with "feel" and not just super technical
my favorite of all her covers. i'm not a big Vai fan. he gets a little over the top for me. she took the original, made some subtle changes, and now i can enjoy Vai's genius through her playing. i never really knew what "making a guitar sing" meant until i saw this cover. Her cover of Altitudes has got to be next.
Her band Spin Twice is really good. Tina has so many different side to her playing. Definitely not a one trick pony. It's hard to even try to explain , why she's so good. Yeah , years and hours of practice. But just something about her , that just so special.
What can you say about this girl? She is so Good it's mind-blowing. For pure emotion, watch her version of The Loner from Gary Moore. To play Gary's music correctly, you have to add lots of emotion and she does a great job, at 15 yrs old. I know there are a few more accomplished players but, at her age, I have never heard anyone better except, maybe, Jason Becker.
what an experience for you saw 3 3gs tours "God, for the love of God let me learn this song before I meet you amen. lol", lot of practice can't help to honor some Hendrix from the man's cry (See the children play Jimi) thanks great reaction have to see more of her take care
Her band Spin Twice just released their new song (composed by Tina) a few days ago. And I love it. Be prepared to her new look though She has changed from 8 years ago.😅
Can you give more information, maybe a link? I found it, and it is sad to see that she has ink stains on her neck. very very sad, and very very very ugly.
Tina certainly was showing strong emotion while she nailed this performance. The normally stoic master was really getting into this great guitar cover. The mark of a professional musician. I loved watching her.
please, do her Altitudes cover of Jason Becker. My favourite of hers, great sweep picking! She has even to work harder on that one. Sometimes she looks like she even finds a bit hard to play :) can you imagine, there is a song Tina finds hard to play! So please check out Altitudes, her best imo. Great reaction btw
Si yo tocará guitarra después de ver este vídeo nunca más lo seguiría intentando en serio la tiraría por la ventana es impresionante su talento y técnica WOW 😮😮 escucha la de Tornado o The Trooper
I’ve never tried one…I have mostly classic guitars…the closest would be a Wolfgang that EVH gave me when my girlfriend at the time’s roommate was dating him. His girlfriend at the time (the roommate) was one of the girls in a ZzTop video back in the 80s. Anyway, I’m planning to hit up a music store and try a bunch of stuff soon. ✌️ keep rocking.
This and The Loner are by far my favorite Tina S. covers. I have never seen her play with such emotion. This song she really seems to feel. It was while searching for videos of Tina that I found Angelina Jordan. So I really hit the jackpot. I like this version better than Steve's version. Spin Twice has come out with some new music. Yo!
We have colleges. We also have universities! It all depends on what is taught. Colleges usually focus on undergraduate programs, while universities offer a wider range of programs, including graduate and Ph.D. programs.
Hello MichaeI, I eagerly watched with anticipation the version of Steve Vai doing his live version of the love of god, the one with a classical orchestra! Well I must say, I really felt disappointed. His whammy bar flutter sounded lame more like a … fart, a mouse fart flutter. On the other hand, Tina’s whammy bar flutter sounds more like a roaring wild Bob cat. Yep Micheal, she was just a normal student who was saying that her studies did not leave her enough time to practice the guitar (actual quote from guitar magazine interview). Yes she is and was amazing, only one word can describe her performance « Glorious »
What amazes me about Tina is that she plays these covers better than the original artists. And no matter who she does not care she's better than all of them. She's absolutely the BEST guitar player this planet has ever seen. And her new work? Yeah she writes as well this young woman definitely has a very BIG brain as well or no way she could remember all these thousands of notes. Her band is awesome yeah listen to this. ruclips.net/video/fobcz96o3PE/видео.html
Dude! You have got to be out of your mind if you think that is better! She's really good and she plays this really well, but better? Nope! She clearly has trouble playing with the feeling that the original delivers. She did great though considering it's someone else's song. When she gets to the more technically fast passages she gets more comfortable. It's not like playing the blues either, which in itself is hard as well, it's Vai's unique sound. So it's difficult to present yourself in a song so unique to another person. She does great! She does, but better than the OG? No dude. Don't fanboy too much!
All credit to Steve Vai for a composition as complicated as this one. However, Tina, as young as she was here, has taken care of every little detail thereof in the way she delivered this extremely intricate piece of music. . In addition, I must highlight that for someone this young, Tina's handling of the whammy bar and her bends are way beyond her years. Again, I will say that I am still trying to find someone as young or younger who are able to do what Tina has done in those five years of recording. Yes, there are amazing young talent around, and some of them are really super fast, BUT they all lack those very technical aspects a skilled musician is always on the lookout for. Until such time, Tina Setkic, regardless of what she's up to lately, will remain my absolute number one guitarist, without any doubt.
do you think she practiced more than you? The answer is probably yes. She must've worked really hard... probably more than people can understand. And then people casually judge.
I started at 15 but I can’t see how it would be physically possible to practice more than I did from 18-21. 12-16 hrs a day….I believe Tina practiced 2 or 3 hrs a days but I could be thinking of someone else. It’s definitely easier for some than for others. Her teacher probably deserves a little credit too.
Lots of ppl aren’t as good as her….I don’t remember criticizing her….I remember not being a big fan of this song but that has nothing to do with her. But using your logic, you shouldn’t criticize me unless you can outplay me.
@@IA_Information_Paris never have I been a troll or really been negative on here I was just being honest .. now if I lied that would be one thing u don't know me shh ..

For me, this is her MASTERPIECE. Best performance on an (E-)Guitar ever. 💞🎸🖖
Steve Vai himself posted her cover to his community.
This one is my favorite of her covers. As amazing as Moonlight Sonata is, this shows emotion.
