I just realized when thor told etri “ and if I die “ he probably was gonna say tell someone but everyone he knows is dead to him so he got stuck😂
Thor entering Wakanda was the most epic entrance. Peter saying “I don’t wanna go” just broke me the first time. Still hits even now 😢.
Peter never got me emotional, i didnt like the spiderman homecoming movie it was ok nothing special so i ddint really care for him much especially because i like andrew garfield as spiderman, but i enjoyed far from home and no way home was outstanding so now i care about mcu spiderman
Even more crazy was that it was Tom Holland's idea to do that.
@@hateuscuztheyaintus2998 cool, want a cookie? 🍪
@RooByrne haha, beat me to it!
a good third in Infinity war is the interaction between Thanos and Gamorra on Vormir ...at least it is for me.
Jane is hilarious. When she sees something happening that she doesn’t like, she calls “JustiNN!” as if he’s allowing it to happen and can somehow stop it. 🤣
Yeah..it's so strange..is he suppose to stop what's happening? It's abit weird.
Typical women response haha

Justin is secretly the sorcerer supreme! Bring out that time stone, man!
I got such a kick out of that.
Now, just imagine: We had to wait an entire YEAR for the conclusion to this! (But it was SOOOO worth it!) Infinity War/Endgame is the greatest movie going experience of my lifetime. Spider-Man No Way Home was a close second!
Endgame was garbage. It ruined Thor.
@@cringekiller348 u just dont understand it they need balance
and thor needs to deal with depression he lost everyone even half of his people he cant just wipe his tears off
@@cringekiller348 still the power balance was trash a literal weakened thor with the axe and hammer and carol denvers herself still isnt enough to beat no stone thanos
@@cringekiller348 I seem to recall that a few people enjoyed that movie though...* I guess _somehow_ it ended up as the highest grossing movie of all time. Weird, huh? The "fat Thor" was partly Chris Hemsworth's idea and we will see much more of his continuing personal journey in Love and Thunder (and probably Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and/or the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, coming this Christmas).
* To the tune of $2.8 billion dollars.
@@kategutib2772 they explained why they couldn't. In infinity war Thanos wasn't trying to kill anyone. He even spared people most of the time. He just used the stones and never faught. In endgame he isn't holding back. He is going all out trying to kill everyone and that's why he is so much stronger and harder to fight
22:23 Bucky asking "Where's the fight?" in a tired, sad way. He has been trying to find peace and war continues to follow him where ever he goes for almost 90 years...
And it's even worse, when he was with hydra he was asleep between fights, so for him as soon as he gives his report hes already on the next mission, even if its year later, his life has LITERALLY been continual fighting for decades
His story arc is so good from Captain America through to FATWS where he finally makes peace in his own heart and mind.
Which is why I don't understand why people think bucky should be the next captain america. He's really not in the best state mentally to carry such a legacy. Plus a former brainwashed hydra assassin is bad optics for such a mantle.
Sad, because most other people would just be glad they're getting a cool new prosthetic but Bucky knows - _immediately_ - that it means they need him for a battle.
Well atleast he has that kind of peace for few years
One of the most messed up little details in this movie is that when everyone’s being snapped away and turning to dust, Wanda is the only one who doesn’t look distressed by it at all, in fact the way she leant backwards is like she welcomed it after what happened to Vision.
I literally noticed that and it breaks me, she just leans back and let it take her 😭
No the Biggest this about this movie is Sacrifice
While I like a lot in the part everyone's being snapped is that there's no background music. Like attenging a funneral.
Yeah I said the same about her ,I said she doesn't even care
supposedly, Groot says "dad..." to Rocket in his Groot language when he turns to dust too 😢
I love the small fight between Dr. Strange and Thanos because it really gives you a feel for how powerful Strange is/could be. Thanos has 4 infinity stones and Strange is still easily trading blows with him on the same level. It can even be argued that Strange is pulling his punches to a degree because he needs the fight to end in exact way it did to ensure the 1 in 14 million outcome.
Then they nerfed the crap out of him in Doctor Strange 2 to make Wanda look stronger. Kinda irritated by that
@@TheLeftCulprit wanda is stronger but difference is quite small unlike shown in dr strange 2
@@adityayadav-fq5lv No they are on par, especially Classic Dr Strange
@@wasbaz in comics dr strange has book of vishanti and eye of agamotto so of course he is on par with wanda
@@TheLeftCulprit Made her look stronger? Dude she IS STRONGER, she is now labeled strongest avenger.
It wasn't Peter Quill's fault at all. If you notice, Doctor Strange is the only one not protesting and telling Quill not to freak out and attack Thanos after learning of Gamora's death. He didn't protest because he knew it had to happen in order for them to win. Amongst the 4 billion possible outcomes he saw, there had to be some where Quill didn't freak out and they did manage to get the glove off. But remember, there was only one outcome where they actually won and beat Thanos. That means, Quill had to react that way in order for them to win.
I'm not sure there is a single version among the 4 billion outcomes Strange saw where Quill didn't attack Thanos. He's had so many people he's loved ripped away from him too soon, the emotional toll was too much for him to handle. Think of how he reacted when he learned what Ego did to his mother, he lashes out, consumed by his grief and anger. As Wandavision touches on, grief is a powerful emotion that can be very difficult to push back against and Quill is particularly vulnerable. I still don't blame him, but I'm not sure that part could ever play out differently.
****SPOILER ALERT****
1) Strange also knew that he would die in that one scenario and he'd have to trust the remaining Avengers to figure out how to save him and the rest.
2) if Strange saw the one outcome that worked why didn't he have them time travel and do all of that before everyone was snapped out.
3) what happened to "14,000,605" outcomes?
Agreed. As Hawkeye said in Age of Ultron; "its your fault? its our fault?? its everyone's fault??? Who cares!?" Loki stole the Tesseract AGAIN nobody is blaming him. Cap and Tony broke up the Avengers. The whole team refused to sacrifice Vision when Peter Quill was willing to kill his own girlfriend! Imagine doing that in vain?? It would break your brain! Thor basically went for the glory kill instead of chopping off Thanos' head. No individual other than Thanos should take responsibility.
@@terminatrix92 Exactly. Perfectly said. And I love that Hawkeye quote.
If you’re going to place blame, you could blame virtually every character. But in reality, the only one to blame is Thanos.
Not billions, millions
Everyone gives Peter Quill grief, but Gamora also gave in when seeing Nebula tortured.
And Thanos didn’t awake until Spidey said that the glove was almost off. That is what triggered Thanos
Heck, despite his mess up during the Thanos fight on Titan, it should be remembered that in a movie where sacrifice is a major theme, Quill is one of the few heroes that was willing to make the hard choice and actually pull the trigger on his gun for the greater good(even earning Thanos respect that he kept his word with the “I like him.” Comment) when so many of the other heroes couldn’t.
@@coffeeveins You're right. If they had destroyed Vision sooner, he might not have been able to find the stone, though he would have destroyed the earth permanently in anger.
@@Sentinel3D nah he would've done same thing as he did, reverse time & get back the stone so it doesn't matter if thet killed him sooner or later
@@coffeeveins true , all of them can sacrifice their lives to save their loved ones & the world but not many are willing to sacrifice their loved one's life for the world. Quill & wanda the only one that I can remember willing to do it
Tom Holland's performance in his death scene really reminded me of that desperate, child-like fear of death that you can see in those WW2 movies like Saving Private Ryan, where soldiers, just young boys really, are crying out for their mother's. There is something so primal and honest about it that rips at the heart when watching, and Tom does it so perfectly! You are either shedding tears or just stunned by it. It seems that much of this movie is designed as much to play with the emotion as it is telling a story.
If that is the case, why did I not only NOT cry, but burst out laughing when I thought Tony was gonna die.
There was actually only one soldier crying for his momma on that beach scene in Saving Private Ryan....
@@reyganbriggs6785 I don't know, you're probably just weird.
One thing that some people miss, and I think needs to be said if it hasn't been extensively covered already: the reason Peter Parker was so distraught and emotional when he was disappearing wasn't because he's "a kid", it's because of his Spider-Sense. He can sense danger, even if he can't always identify the source. He wasn't just sensing danger, he was becoming aware of his impending disappearance, more profoundly and tangibly than any of the others, and it was too much to process.
The worst part about Peter Parker’s death is that when you understand his powers, he has precognition so he was feeling his death repeated every second until he dusts. The pain of feeling your death over and over was probably excruciating for him.
The part that makes Thanos such a dangerous villain is that he completely, honestly believes that he's doing the right thing, and there's nothing he won't do to make it happen. Absolute belief in one's cause and an absolute willingness to sacrifice anything for it can be a very bad mix sometimes.
yep Thanos would surely vote democrat ;) .... muhahahahaha
@@roelven1282 there's always one clown like this in the comment section
Oddly enough that is why him winning feels earned. He was honest about his objective, was willing to fight for his cause, went up against some of the most powerful beings in the universe, lost his most trusted allies in this war who fought valiantly for his cause, and in the end was willing to give up the one thing he loved to achieve his goal.
It's not about balance he doesn't believe in what he's doing he simply using balance as an excuse to give mistress death more life's so he can impress her
Thanos was the biggest con artist
seeing this in theaters was a whole other experience. everyone was just silent at the end of the movie followed by a standing ovation. definitely in my top 3 marvel or even superhero movies of all time
same dude the hype for this movie was insane
Our theater stayed silent
Yeah but unfortunately when I saw this movie in theaters I ended up getting ammonia
Who didn’t see it in theaters?
You think they watch IW for the first time?😂 They got reaction videos for the Endgame trailer uploaded from years ago🤦🏼♂️
@@Holland4evahh i never said anything about them not watching in theaters. i was just saying that the theater experience for this movie was great…
There's no amount of this that I can stress enough. Endgame is so satisfying after this.
That's an understatement lol
Facts!
So true, but it is bittersweet
Personally, I'd compare Infinity War to Empire Strikes Back, and Endgame to Return Of The Jedi. Not saying Endgame wasn't great, but Infinity War is on another level.
An infinite amount, perhaps?
One of the most underappreciated moments of this entire movie, in my opinion, is the fact that (at 15:10) Captain America just grabs Proxima Midnight's spear out of the air as if it was nothing. This weapon, like the staff of the other guy, bears some significance - in this case, it's said that it never misses its mark. Just goes to show how much of a badass Cap really is.
1st time seeing you guys. The “it’s ok to cry” shirt, was worn at an appropriate time. The movie is a tear jerker for sure!
The best MCU film of all time IMO
Rewatched it countless times and it even helped me go through rehab. Will always love it. Great reaction as usual guys!
That’s great to hear hope your doing well and found peace with yourself man!
I will never forget the theater experiences i had with this movie and Endgame. I don’t care what people say, the emotions these films manage to give fans IS CINEMA!
At the end, everyone in the theater was just dead silent from shock. We all kind of filed out in a zombie-like fashion, unable to square the circle that was this film.
We.... lost? That can't be real...
Is what we all thought, even as we all drove home in silence.
What a great film.
like that part where every one was fading away it was complete silence in the theatre!!
It's been 4 years and the experience that infinity war gave me at the theatre still gives me chills and it all feels fresh.
Ain’t no emotional about this 😂 obviously they gonna return
I didn't cry. Somebody was cutting onions!
I can't even tell you what a sobbing, hysterical mess I was in the theater when Peter was saying "Please sir, I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go." I was almost hyperventilating to the point where my friend said if I didn't pull my sh!t together he was moving to another seat. Thanks for your support, @sshole! lol
What's really gut wrenching is the fact we lost Chadwick Boseman in real life. So sad because he was truly an iconic young actor with such an awesome potential career ahead of him but more importantly he was a great man in his personal life. I'm glad Marvel is choosing to honor him by not simply recasting his character. Wakanda FOREVER
One thing to remember about the Hulk, he's almost like a child. And given that he faced something that hurt 'him' it scared him and that's why he wouldn't come out despite how he's always tried to protect Bruce.
The MCU hulk is, comic hulk just gets pissed at being hurt. Thats why I will always call Ruffalo's hulk The Jolly Green Dissapointment.
@@reyganbriggs6785 Whole Marvel Cinematic Universe is a fucking dissapointment....
@@hater2764 confused why you’re here then
Well, the filmmakers said that this is only partly why he refused to come out. The main reason is because Hulk was fed up that Bruce would only let him out to fight, and so refused to come out to spite him.
@@hater2764 then go watch DC Extended universe.
2:05 And notice that even with the power stone, Thanos isn't using it. When the stones are being used, they glow. But when fighting Hulk, he did so with his own strength alone. So Thanos is in fact stronger than Hulk.
I think also, Hulk has always been able to win with brute strength. Thanos is strong, but also strategic.
Once Hulk get mad enough, he can beat Thanos.
@@BloodShed4REAL live action thanos absolutely shits on hulk , hulks rage dosent make him stronger it just makes him more ruthless but not stronger

Sean Gunn is most likely credited for this film because he was a motion reference for Rocket on set for every movie Rocket is in.
For "What If...?" You can watch it after Endgame
Why bother saying "most likely" when a simple IMDB search confirms it to be true?
@@Petrixxxxxxx why bother even replying? That comment was just pointless lol they're just 2 extra words and unless I said something completely false, it really wasn't needed
Also While he wasn’t in this movie, Sean Gunn’s character from Guardians is most definitely still alive(he was given Yondu’s arrow and controller at the end of Vol.2, even practising a bit during the mid/post credits scene).
Yep, Sean Gunn plays Rocket, and it's also the reason he appears in the MCU family cast photo at Tony Stark's funeral.
It may have all been Starlord’s fault but it’s also a moment for Tony: he too went nuts after learning what happened to his parents in Civil War only to have the exact same outburst flung right back in his face at the worst possible time.
Circumstances are vastly different for both the things. One didn't have the entire universe's fate at stake.
@@DarthDragon007 they’re literally not different and Strange said there was only one outcome anyway Peter had to do that
So happy that both of you and your babies are healthy.
Well, actually these were not the last words of Chadwick Boseman in the Marvel franchise, the last ones were in the animated series What if ...
Cap and BP are the same speed; we saw BP step forward to lead the charge, Cap moved up after.
They knew Bruce and Hulk were having problems, so grabbed Hulk Buster from the Avengers Compound which is where Rhodes and Bruce were when Cap and them met up. That facility was paid for by Tony and he did a lot of his work there and kept suits there.
Who's BP?
Never mind, I figured it out: Black Panther. Had a brain fart for a second.
@@JustWasted3HoursHere lol no worries
The Hulk Buster suit was designed by Stark *AND* Banner. So it makes perfect sense that Banner had direct access to use it if necessary.
Hulkbuster was also originally stored in a satellite so it could be deployed anywhere on the world. Bruce being able to call it down when he's the co-creator/developer is an easy stretch to make.
I don't understand how they haven't seen this and Endgame but still watched the Marvel shows.
They only watched the first 3 shows. Didn't really need too much context to understand the shows honestly, but What If is where they need to rewatch the shows so they aren't extra confused.
Still the greatest ending to a superhero movie to this day. The score (Porch) is perfect, the final words spoken ("Oh god.") haunting and the final moment of Thanos watching the sunset over a grateful universe is chilling. I love this movie to death
You obviously haven’t seen the dark knight.
This is the greatest ending to a supervillain movie.
@@SeanDon89 I certainly have and, it’s an absolutely fantastic ending too. Please try to respect my opinion here, my friend
Well depends on what you refer to as the ending. It could be "motherfu.........."

Infinity War is a picture perfect masterpiece.
There were probably a million times that Quill held back and the fight was lost, It had to go down this way. Tony couldn't be rational either when he found out Bucky killed his parents and Cap knew.
We don't know that for sure, could have been that he never held back in any reality where they got to that stage and that's why there were so few successful futures 😆
@@Tlevids I'm giving Quill the benefit of the doubt...but that would be funny if every failure was on quill.
Justin just pointed out such a huge plot hole that I've never heard anyone mention! Cap tells Vision that they don't trade lives but is willing to trade the lives of all the Wakandan soldiers for Vision. Doesn't seem fair considering blowing up the stone would have resulted in the loss of only one life as opposed to the dozens probably hundreds of soldiers who died in that battle.
As John Diggle said in Arrow, there are always casualties when fighting a war. These Wakandans are soldiers, it is their job to defend Wakanda and its people on a day to day basis. It's not like they are forcing them to fight in this war.
Watching this in theaters the ending had everyone silent from the snap to the final "The End" all you heard was sniffles and the occasional "noooooo" this movie was honestly a masterpiece.
Fun fact; tom holland added that line “ I don’t wanna go” and the idea that he would be the one to “feel” it coming, I just love (& hate) that scene. So well done. 💜looking forward to seeing your reaction to endgame. Personally I live infinity war the most but they are both incredible
Omg, I got goosebumps and cried reading this.
I thought he was just quoting Dr. Who.
Thor in Wakanda yelling "Bring me Thanos..!" then that jump-up lighting strike is better than anything ever.
Although there are many heartbreaking, awful moments, one that really strikes me is at the end when everyone has disintegrated, and Steve just collapses to the ground. He looks so broken, shocked, and horrified. He always keeps trying, no matter what and yet here he’s frozen.
Everyone always gets mad at Quill, forgetting that it had to happen as part of the one successful vision that Dr. Strange saw. If they had gotten the gauntlet off, they likely would have lost another way. It was one of the things that happened in the one successful future. They had to lose to win in the end.
5:46 Steve sent Tony a flip phone at the end of Civil War. Tony kept it on him because Steve told Tony, if he needed him, he would come or answer whenever they needed each other.
They're not real fans, they're not even replying. Expect disappointment when they see Jonathan Majors
The Red Star was on his old arm because he was "The Winter Soldier". While in the movies he works for Hydra, in the comics the Winter Soldier is actually a tool of the Russia Government, hence the Red Star.
Yep, which is also why the code phrases to "reset" him are just random words in Russian.
The best MCU film so far .. ending was awesome as well . Endgame was great companion to this .
Marvel have yet to match this or Endgame ( end of an era ) .
sadly they never will ....
I mean Shang-Chi and NWH were some of the best MCU content ever, but they were still inferior to IW/EG.
Endgame was kind of disappointing I liked both Spider-Man’s over Endgame
When you asked about another Marvel villain that the audience can pretty much sympathize with their motives Magneto in the X-Men series comes to mind.
Hey! Thank you for sharing your personal story. My partner and I also went through a shockingly similar and traumatic experience with preeclampsia. Both my partner and my daughter made it, but it was a truly scary and emotional experience. I’m glad that your story has a happy ending and I wish your family the best!
Thanks so much John! Glad you guys are okay too 🙂.
Sean Gunn was credited because he has done the motion capture for Rocket for all the Guardians and Avengers movies. Of course he also plays Kraglin in the Guardians movies, he's also the brother of James Gunn who directs the Guardians movies, who also wrote the dialogue and the music for the Guardians in Infinity War. The integration of the Guardians characters was done so well in this movie.
The thing about losing thousands of soldiers to save Vision's life.
The only person able to destroy the stone is Wanda, and as long as it's attached to Vision's brain, some part of her will always hold back from destroying it. Even if it's subconscious.
Well, until Thanos is literally in front of her, that is.
Idk about that but my explanation is that thanos was going to destroy wakanda anyway and half of humans without the stones if needed. So they needed to fight regardless.
I mean, even if they did destroy it then, the Thanos army was already there. They wouldn't be like "oh you don't have the stone? understandable have a nice day" and go back to space.
@@MamadNobari Yeah seriously, lmao...they are still genocidal maniacs who want to eliminate half of all life in the universe, one way or the other. Those Wakanda soldiers sacrificed their lives for Wakanda and the world, not for Vision.

I also blame Nebula a little bit in addition to Quill. She was just standing there letting him engage Thanos. She certainly could’ve knocked him out or held him back. Of course Nebula was probably just as devastated as Quill.
I don't think she thought he would have actually tried to hit Thanos for that.
Gamora didn't want to kill Thanos, but she dedicated her life to stopping his plan which is why she lied about the Soul Stone. She didn't just go with him. The star on Bucky's arm signifies Soviet Union Russia when he was captured by Hydra.
Also Tony's arm gun turning into an electric Alien mouth was perfect.

My personal head cannon on why thanos was able to beat hulk is that when hulk is fighting Thanos instead of anger it is replaced by fear thus hulk looses power (the angrier he is the more powerful he is), also the reason why hulk refuses to come out after going to earth is that he's embarrassed that he was beat by thanos
37:01 In Spiderman Homecoming Happy was telling Peter that they were moving from Avengers Tower to the new Avengers facility in upstate New York and some of the equipment being moved into the the plane included the Hulkbuster suit. What a masterpiece should be used to describe the emotion you both showed for these characters Thank you for sharing.
The build up and the payoff was so great
Having read the comics growing up in the 80's and 90's, I pretty much knew how the story was going to end when it came to Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet. Still, when I watched the movie in a pact theater, I wasn't prepared so the lingering silence that followed after the movie was over. It reminded me of just how impactful this movie was and in some ways still is.
Thanos wasn't being held back by Steve. According to the writers, Thanos was dumbfounded by having a man, seemingly with no powers or fancy gadgets to speak of, attempting to use his bare hands to hold back a being capable of beating the Hulk hand-to-hand. Thanos had a huge messiah complex so Steve attempting to stop not only what Thanos thought was salvation but doing it with no chance of winning was both admirable and confusing.

He’s definitely seen it before but it doesn’t matter. Amazing reaction.
Still my top favourite MCU movie too date, I love re watching this through fresh eyes. An incredible movie with a rollercoaster journey of emotions that it takes you on. Love this reaction JV and Jane
You guys did a wonderful job, thanks for sharing your reaction. ❤❤
I'll never forget when I went to see this in theaters and the credits rolled, it was one of the first times I can remember the audience just sitting in stunned silence. I don't think anyone expected the movie to end this way and we were all just overwhelmed with emotion. you guys are so lucky that you don't have to wait an entire year for Endgame like we did haha such a great reaction, thanks guys! ❤️
This was the most intense movie I ever saw in theaters. It was so dead silent when it ended, nobody wanted to move or talk
oh wow I never thought about that berserk comparison on Vormire, love it!
I’ve watched this movie a bunch of times, and I never noticed that stone was one of the stars in the background
Fun Fact: Scene when Tom had a Spidey-Sense, that scene is naturally happen, cause someone whispering behind his neck to make him feel Goosebumps.... CMIIW!!!
Wtf 😅😅😅
I'd wait until after Endgame to start on any of the tv-series. The order doesn't really matter. If you guys really want to see what if, you can start there. But Wandavision came out first and it was really good as well. None of the shows are bad, really.
All this movie is so amazing and I loved how Justin was crying through out Gamora's speech knowing her fate and Jane realized alongside with Gamora. Something I wish I can experience this for the first time again, that's how epic and amazing this movie was.
I really enjoy your review. Keep it up I’m waiting part 2 now.
I love how emotional you guys give some of the best reactions ❤
Answering when to watch ANY of the Marvel shows on Disney+ before finishing Endgame would be a big no-no for spoiler reasons. So. Obviously: AFTER Endgame :D
My people over here actually cried. That's wat I love 2 see from a reaction video. The passion. Thank u. 🙏
Amazing reaction from both of you, love the channel :)
Has this been reuploaded? It feels like I've seen this reaction before.

Man I love y’all reaction !
This is my third time watching this reaction! I seriously love it! Both of your laughs crack me up and when you cry, I cry 😅😅 can’t wait for your Endgame reaction!! You guys are so good at this!
I remember watching this the day I got back from basic training. The movie had already been out for like a month and I managed to avoid spoilers. Amazing movie
Thanos was gonna use all four stones he had to end Tony's life out of respect so he wouldn't have felt a thing. That's some mad crazy powerful shit 😳
Yeah, but if he was using the reality and soul stones, he was utterly eradicating Tony on every level of existence. No afterlife. Pure disrespect.
@@wcookiv but with no pain so there's some respect there which he told Tony himself
@@seanmidson If I had to step on a bug I'd try to do it fast but it's not because I respect the bug specifically. Not saying you're wrong, just a counterpoint.
I've seen this movie multiple times but the times you guys cried I cried awesome reaction guys
