Need it in Florida asap uber and lyft not working out
Florida is a key market for us. We hope to there soon.
@YRide-Technologies I signed up waiting on my background check am super ready
I can't wait until this lands in the LA area. Really wishing that this business works out in S.F. Area. All the respect for the Y-Ride founders and partners for daring to step out in such time as this. Keep us posted please! Blessings from SoCal!
To everyone who signs up, PLEASE tell every Uber/Gryft passenger about this new app! Remember, as an independent contractor, they are YOUR customers, not Uber's. You have every right to redirect your customers to better experiences and less cost.
Thank you!! Our team is working very hard to meet your expectations.
Hi it's this app in the east coast already?
@YRide-Technologies pls make it happen cause we're tired of these uber lyft .misleading underpaying
@@YRide-TechnologiesI have tried signing up with an account but it tells me to add a website how do I bypass this so Stripe can verify me.
Please scroll down and you will notice an option that says ‘add professional details’. Tap on it and add some relevant text such as ‘Rideshare’. That is all. Thanks
We need them in Los Angeles ASAP
Whatever it takes to get the fares reduced. We need cheaper rides immediately.
We hope to expand to LA very soon.
@YRide-Technologies Can't wait. Let me know, and I'll sign up first.
❤❤❤SEVERAL alternative companies will APPEAR, especially in California, due to the POOR leadership at Uber and Lyft! The take rates are RIDICULOUS in San Diego, California!!!
The fact that a new app is launching is your proof that there’s money to be made and Ubers stories of losses is a myth
Absolutely!
Please, come to the east coast.
Especially since there is not a non competitive clause in employment contracts anymore. What if former Lyft and Uber programmers collaborated to develop an application.
NJ !
Tell them to come to wisconsin
We hear you and expect to start expanding in the next few months.
@@YRide-Technologies is the app up and running currently? How do we contact customer service?
I am in Orange County and they singed me up, went through the process, waiting for final activation. I also loaded the rider app and tested from Garden Grove to John Wayne airport and it offered me a ride.
So ex Uber employee who knows all the tricks joined the gravy train
Yep just wait until this co get strong and will do the same fuck up drivers but it’s a chance for drivers(1-3 years) to make good money.
We understand your sentiments. We are committed to serve fairly to both drivers and riders.
lets see how this company treats drivers. They need to be in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia. ASAP because uber and lyft is treating drivers like Slaves.
Should've launched in Mpls! Everyone would sign up and it's a smaller marker to work out the kinks
We are closely watching the situation in Minneapolis. We will keep everyone posted on our expansion plan.
@YRide-Technologies please come to Minneapolis!
This is exactly the Wridz model. Subscription for the driver. These 2 companies should just team up instead of fragmenting the market. Wridz has a big head start.
Yes, we do! I drive for them in Austin and have been driving for them for a little over two years now.
@josephinemiller4780 how's it going?
@@mardomorales how is what going?
Are they on the Google play store? I can't find them.
Chicago is ready and willing.
So many new Rideshare coming online , YRide & Hum are both already better for drivers !! Hum is 100% to the driver after a small monthly subscription fee !
I was running HUM all weekend in Phoenix. My next video will show what I made versus what I feel Uber/Lyft would've charged me. BIG DIFFERENCE, trust me! Glad we got someone like YRide coming out and being another tool in the toolbox!
Every single state should get their CEO sign and Make it a law or something. That this company will be fair to drivers and dont turn like Uber and Lyft after 5-7 years. Thats it.
When is it coming to North/South Carolina?
Bring it to Puerto Rico!!!!
You pay a subscription fee to be a driver. Which actually sounds alright
Agree! We believe in fair share for our driver partners.
@@YRide-Technologies may that grow to continue to be true. Having new options for rideshare could be refreshing.
I will be following the company from now on.
Just downloaded the app. First 3 months free
Just signed up. But you need a passport
@@Phaye-co4zj why???
Are u able to use rentals on the platform?
I haven't checked out the website yet but is it driver subscription based? How do they generate revenue?
Thanks for the comment! We do believe we have a robust business model, which will serve fairly both drivers and riders very well.
When in LA?
Is there a referral/reference code?
Do they plan on expanding to Boston.
I would sign up today.
We are launching with SF Bay Area and hope to expand rapidly nationwide.
Tried to sign-up today and already hit some roadblocks. I have to setup a yardstik profile. Couldn’t upload a “Nationality ID” picture. I wasn’t even sure if that’s the same as a Driver’s License/State ID. Couldn’t connect my bank account via Stripe because I have to complete a “Stripe Onboarding” first. Signing-up isn’t as easy or straightforward as Lyft and Uber. The process just isn’t streamlined. Everything should be done in-app.
I’m also not sure what to think about to pay-to-play/subscription model. First 3 months is free(a $99 value). I don’t like that they require drivers to get their cars professionally deep-cleaned regularly. I can do that myself and I do a real good job at it. It also means more costs and downtime to schedule your car to get detailed. Base fares are good compared to Lyft and Uber. But no surge-pricing.
I’d really like to try them out, but they already have issues for me. They need to make signing-up more simple so the drivers could come.
I mean, you can either pay them $33/month, or the other Apps $4,000/month. I prefer the lesser amount.
You can professionally clean your car yourself. Just write yourself a bill from "your cleaning business." 😁
The onboarding process may need some work. Considering they're brand new, they probably still got some kinks to work out. The other Apps have been in business for well over a decade and they still screw up stuff and take advantage of drivers.
Thank you! We are hearing the feedback loud and clear. We are actively clearing up the last few issues in the app to be ready for launch.
I am in fuck Uber
Thank you!
Love it. You say only in Bay Area? What about LA plans to come here I already signed up lol. Tired of Uber taking 50% of fare. They’re riders come in offering cash to save money 🤣🤣
Y is this not in Las Vegas market?
We are launching with SF Bay Area and hope to expand rapidly nationwide.
Just signed up. Need a passport to sign up
anything is better than uber and Lyft in Orlando. Bring anything here!!!
We hope to expand to Florida soon!
If there's an ex Uber employee it's already compromised.
He’s the one that’s been stealing all of our tips to start his own company
@@Mr2231314what is your average tip percentage?
📣📢🔈🔊 guys!! uber got lawsuit in UK and Australia, sooner bankruptcy so this company was made by Uber, it's the same company, they just wanna play games with us, There are scaming us again and again. I don't even trust Ride share guys any more.
I feel Uber behind this shit
I hope so Uber must be paid back in kind
When are they gonna to launch it nationwide?
We are launching with SF Bay Area and hope to expand rapidly nationwide.
@@YRide-Technologies if you need anyone to represent your company in Richmond, Virginia I’m willing to go to the distance
Hopefully
Are they in Dallas?
We are launching with SF Bay Area and hope to expand rapidly nationwide.
Greatest news in quite a while! San Francisco is always where visionaries start companies.
In order for any company to compete with Uber they need a unique business model. This model is the same. They want to build one urban market at a time but have no customers and no compelling reason for a customer to choose them over Uber. They also don’t have the $17 billion in venture capital Uber used to build the market and the brand. I hope for them the best but I don’t know.
Thanks for the feedback! We do believe we have a robust business model, which will serve fairly both drivers and riders very well.
Yride website seems to be down
Come to Boston
We are launching with SF Bay Area and hope to expand rapidly nationwide.
I just signed up for.
Thank you!!
@@YRide-Technologies waiting for my background check . Also just added my vehicle . I started driving on Uber platform since December 2012

19 miles for 25.90, mr ride share guy youll be just like the other companies in due time. FL don't need rideshare apps
Los Angeles asap please
Yes
Definitely need this in LA I am sick of paying the high fares

@@YRide-Technologies sweet! Undercut Uber and Lyft and you can have all of my business
I hope Yride comes into Rhode Island and Massachusetts to stop mobile sweat shop slavery
Y-Not Y. Bring it on. Reminds of a place called Y-Not burgers here in Torrance CA. Good burgers BTW.
Come to Dallas

Is there a rider for yride? i'm from bay area
Yes there is, in the app store
We are launching in next few days in the Bay Area. You will be able to take rides soon.
@@YRide-Technologies I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area and have been trying to sign up. I have tried six times now to do my email verification and the app keeps glitching. This is not a good start
Just signed up
How does Yride make money ?
That logo 🤦♀️ please someone tell them what it looks like before they get really popular.
As for competition, yes please 🙏🏻 we need all the apps possible to give Uber and Lyft something to think about.
Lettttts Gooooo!
We still waiting for Hum Ride to expand, so Yride, I hope the best for you and don't take forever expanding eastward
I hope they really pay drivers well because uber and lyft is running a crazy split in pay 50-70% take rate.
Anyone with a referral code
What’s wrong with the world today?? I see people already complaining in the comments, guys there’s no perfect world, all we need is more competition and options for drivers and riders otherwise the world has never been and will never be fair.
For a company to succeed and compete, they have to have shareholders pitch in lots and lots of capital to be able to absorb losses in the first 3 to 4 years while expanding which means, by the 5th year, drivers pay will be cut to be able to start making a profit and return profits to early shareholders so in the end, same business model because ridesharing is not sustainable to be accesible to passengers cheaper, profitable to drivers and profitable to company, you cant have all 3 at the same time
So why has Wridz been around for over two years with 2 owners? I have been driving for them since day one. I was the fifth driver who was on boarded here in Austin
Thanks for the comment! We do believe we have a robust business model, which will serve fairly both drivers and riders very well.
Atleast choose a better name. Bruh Yride what kind of name is that?
Lets go chicago!!!

Bring it to Kansas City

@@YRide-Technologies well THE MOMENT you have it available for me in the Kansas City metropolitan area, I have already filed out my starting info so y'all can notify me. I would like to go through and be the first person to become active out here and offer trips to compete against the crooks of Uber and Lyft
30$a month, same group of type of,,people app ect, 3rd world) apparently all you need to drive is something called a nationality ID or your passport because of course you would have a passport but I guess driver's license is not required😅
Let’s go.
Bring him to San Diego.
We are launching with SF Bay Area and hope to expand rapidly nationwide.
I'm in the Bay Area but I don't trust someone who doesn't take any commission. I think you need to take some!!!!!!!!!!! BUT not 50% to 75% like Uber/Lyft!! If Uber gave a driver roughly 30% of what we're getting now, it would be ideal. Lyft needs to be more serious. It's not worth doing Lyft in a busy area where there are better options like Uber or other gig apps. Lyft is for those with no other option!
We follow a subscription based model. We are waiving the first 3 months subscription at the launch.
Charlotte PLEASEEER
We are launching with SF Bay Area and hope to expand rapidly nationwide.
Uber and Lyft as so much skeleton in there closet so i wish the Yride all the success...NEW YORK anytime soon?
So let me get this straight, you don’t believe Wridz pays us 100% of the fare? I drive for them here in Austin and we absolutely get 100% of the fare. The rider pays for the insurance and external fees which is VERY inexpensive. I have been driving for Wridz for a little over two years now. Wridz interviews their drivers in person. Sounds to me like anyone can get on the Y-Rides platform just like with Uber and Lyft.
Everything will be good untill they go public
Thanks for the comment! We do believe we have a robust business model, which will serve fairly both drivers and riders very well.
Well it's refreshing that you guys might actually start talking about other ethical rideshare companies as opposed to constantly talking about all of the things that Uber and Lyft unjustly do to drivers. So actually looking for solutions as opposed to continuing to beat those two dead horses.
You don't honestly think gig companies are ethical do you?
@@user-de4jk8vj4c well at least at the moment here in Arizona HUM Rideshare is proving themselves to be ethical.
@@user-de4jk8vj4cso it's impossible? Nobody can run an ethical company?
I wish you guys have stopped talking over each other and if you do talk over each other start at the beginning let the other guy finish and then let him say I’m done and then the next person can talk and then you say you’re done you guys over talk to each other a lot and I don’t even know what you’re saying when you do that
No one is going to unseat Uber/Lyft.
Y don’t they pay their own insurance why do I have to pay my insurance and theirs? Sergio is a driver why do you think it’s ok for drivers to pay a company’s insurance? That’s why we can’t make money, that’s the price of doing business, right. WTF I have to pay two insurances and they pay none gtfoh 🤡
