- Celebrate the independence of our great nation with this cozy summer 4th of July Party! This rustic farm sits upon green rolling hills with horses and fields of flowers. The family has gathered for the evening to pop fireworks and eat hamburgers hot off the grill! Sampson the hound has found his favorite place to rest by the front door. The hot summer sun has tucked itself away and dusk has fallen. The American Flag flies proudly in front yard waving in the warm summer wind. Sparklers light the footpath to the front door and a small fire is going on the porch to keep Sampson toasty. The air is filled with smells of hamburgers from the grill, mesquite wood burning in the fireplace and smoke coming from the fireworks. The fireflies have come to share the evening in the flower beds and the crickets call to each other in the night. Enjoy 6 hours of Fireworks, night time nature sounds, crackling fire and American Nostalgia!
The 4th of July is not my favorite holiday, but if I could spend it someplace like thus, I would absolutely change my mind. The fireflies, the crickets, the buntings blowing in the breeze, the distant concussion of fireworks: this is what makes summer beautiful.

I miss celebrating the 4th of July!!🎆🎇🌭 More like, I miss my childhood 4th of July's, and the ones I spent with my bff and her family as an adult! Funny how memories can make you miss the past, aching for that again. But, knowing you can never have it again.
Legitimately one of the best days of my life was spent at a relative’s fishing cabin on the 4th of July the year I was eight. My grandfather had bought me a huge pack of fireworks and said this year I was old enough to light them, and then my favorite older cousin showed up with her car just completely filled with more fireworks. All day we blew up fireworks, when we got too hot we’d go jump in the lake, then we’d go eat, and then we’d blow up more fireworks. All these years later I look back on that memory as a warm one.
