Here are a few more -The App-Controlled Batmobile set comes with a Batman: Arkham Knight figure from a game that is rated M. -Another one is seen in lego Star Wars 3 the clone wars. In one of thee levels on geonosis you go through the caverns of the planet and you can actually find the exo-suit from Aliens (an R rated film). The whole level and episode in the show is a homage to the movie Aliens so both feature many Easter eggs. -In Lego dimensions (specifically the LEGO Batman movie section) there is a direct recreation of a scene from the matrix where Lawrence Fishburns character escapes a near death experience. -In Lego Marvels Avengers there is a side quest from Daredevil at the docs. In this quest he mentions that the guys from the docs must have not gotten the message since the last time he was here. Referencing the first episode of the show where Daredevil beat the crap out of some human traffickers.
These are great ones! I almost reincluded the app controlled Batmobile from the Inappropriate list but some people were debating me, making a good point that the logo on the Batmobile is from the comics, so I skipped it this time.
There was that whole thing about the 2018 RC batmobile being based off the M-rated Arkham games since the suit was similar and the logo on the box was extremely close to that of the games. If there's some R-rated things I'd like to see in lego, I'd go with The Suicide Squad, Netflix Daredevil, Deadpool, and Team Fortress 2.
Everyone always says that the Batman logo used on that set looks similar to the one used for Batman Arkham. But the logo is the one used on the Scott Snyder new 52 run. But I still think that you make a good point. And Team Fortress 2 sets would be awesome

Great to see you back and doing well. Knew about most of these but only a few flew under the radar. Justice League is debatable as the sets came out way before the R rated Snyder cut, however Hobbit Battle of 5 armies was originally cut as R rated for gory violence and needed to be tamed to a PG13. Love that went through the effort of including the time machine design from Terminator: Genisys of all things. Which I think is the only installment in the series we see it (idk if that design came from comics or Sarah Connor Chronicles).
Lololol. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know that, I’ve only seen Genysis and the one with Bale. The two I’ve seen are the worst and Pg-13 ones. Isle of Dogs seems like it could get a set since it’s only PG-13 and it might be even better known than Fantastic Mr. Fox given that it won Best Animated Feature.
@@yellowcactusproductions I feel like nobody would care too much. If they just made a Wild West saloon with a few cowboys people would probably be fine with that for the most part. I’m not sure what they could do for Django Unchained, I’ve never watched it, but they could do some sort of reference to it if they made a normal Wild West set, especially in Lego Ideas.
Ive been thinking of something with this actually. You know how Disney released/releases R rated content through what was once Touchstone pictures now 20th century studios, they just release it under a different label so fans of Disney who dont want to see R rated content wont see the Disney logo or have that label on R rated movies instead having the fox label. Anyway been wondering for a longtime that maybe lego could do the same practice to release R rated sets. Maybe they could release sets based on say the matrix but the packaging and marketing doesnt have the lego logo on it whatsoever but a different brand lego created and is releasing the set under that brand name instead of the traditional lego brand. The set and minifigs are exactly the same, it just wont say Lego on the box or instructions but say another building brand lego creates to sell more mature content. Food for thought
If you want to count this I guess you could but the Lego Batman Remote Control Batmobile had a Batman minifig from the game Arkham Knight which was given an M rating. It’s kinda niche and not an official Arkham Knight set but it kinda fits.
there are a TON of games that i wish Lego did sets for, i actually had the idea of a Video game Legends line, where sets would be done on epic video games such as Batman Arkham Doom Uncharted God Of War Skyrim Fallout Halo Spiderman PS4 Tomb Raider Pac Man Call of Duty Fortnite (i don't like the game, but it is popular so why not) Grand theft Auto Red Dead Redemption Tetris Sonic Mario Watch_Dogs Assassins Creed Need For Speed The Crew Splatoon Hitman and more
We got Mario, we got Sonic, we kinda got Spider-Man PS4 with that comic con exclusive, but COD? Fallout? Halo, and all that? Not gotta happen, Pac Man though? Only time will tell.
@@nintendomaster6430 I already know about the Comic-Con exclusive Spider-Man PS4, but I'm talking about a set. And Mario says well and those were pretty lame. I want Mario set with actual figures, and as for all the others that is why I would call the line the video game Legends
I think it wouldn’t have hurt to add The Daily Bugle. It has Blade and Punisher. Blade was R-rated and although they’re not based on the movies or MCU, the Punisher show didn’t come out that long ago and was MA. Similar to Daredevil, Kingpin was referenced on a sign and he was in the Hawkeye show played by the same guy as in the Daredevil show which is one of the most brutal villains I’ve ever seen. It’s a stretch.
Another example of a mature series being in Lego form was that apparently in the midway arcade world or level in Lego dimensions there was gonna be a mortal kombat reference and Easter egg or something related to it But was scrapped
Also I don’t need sets but a CMF of horror icons like Freddy and Ghostface would be awesome! But considering they’re from so many different studios I don’t see that happening. Maybe if they just did WB Horror icons that could work considering they have Elm street and the conjuring franchise
I also find it funny how the Matrix is rated M in Australia. I remember as a kid on the official Lego Message Boards, the mention of the Matrix wasn't allowed which confused me.
Deadpool dude! I know he was made before the movie but he feels like the perfect character for this list. Also dune sets would be great it’s rated pg13 but does have some darker themes so I think it fits.
There’s a subtle reference to 21 Jump Street in The Lego Movie. It’s in the form of a poster that says Macho and the Nerd, which is the title of the movie in Russia.
Weird thing is this, one time I tried to place a digital Tremors lego set on Ideas, it wasn't allowed due to some problems, but then I noticed (even though 10K, it failed) Shaun of the Dead was on Ideas!
A few Always Sunny sitcom sets would be amazing. They could do three very easily. The bar, Frank and Charlie's Place, and Dennis and Mac's place. No one cares about that bird, Dee's place.

Sometimes I think that, then I think of the scene where Neo mows down the cops brutally. But like, in America, violence in movies is okay but other stuff is a no no. The f-word rule is so dumb with the mpaa lmao
The Matrix Resurrections was rated PG in my country, the same rating as every Marvel movie. The reason it got rated R in America is because of four F bombs, which glossed over me on my first watch.
Different Christie novel, but aren't they doing an Orient Express set later this year? Granted, it doesn't have any murders that I'm aware of, but an official Agatha Christie set would be awesome, regardless of what story it was based on.
Mad Max and James Bond themes would be like a dream come true! But I'd also gladly take some sets based on Edgar Wright movies like Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz or Baby Driver (being my favourite movie of all time) I also think The Matrix could have some cool sets. They teased a tie in on instagram, but then nothing happened. And of course, the recent The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker show and movies
Keep in mind that the Lego movie is a Warner Brothers movie, so are the Terminator movies I do believe, which means they are allowed to reference anything within the Warner Brothers catalog.
I never knew Stranger Things was rated higher in other countries. That’s interesting. My sister who is 13 watched all three season and wasn’t really that freaked out so I think PG-13 makes the most sense.
I just wanna point this out not all the Terminator movies are rated R, The first three movies are, but Terminator salvation and terminator genesis are PG-13.
Lego made the Rogue Shadow from the Force Unleashed video game which in the UK was 16 rated and also I made a Stranger Things Ideas project two years before the official Lego one but it wasn't even approved for support because it was implied that Stranger Things was too mature and violent a theme for Lego to produce sets of Considering LEGO's push to target adult consumers with 18+ sets perhaps it's about time they produce 15+ sets with an 18+ label, Lego missing out on big money as they do with not widely releasing SDCC exclusive
Lmao I’m from Australia and I had been hearing here and there that the new deadpool movie would be rated R and I was so confused bc the first 2 we’re rated Ma15+ and I got kind of scared for a second and thought I wouldn’t be able to watch it until this video when I found out R is the American version of Ma15+

@@just2good Just be sure to check the date of the set and what's coming out that day that's related, you know what happened to that Deadpool set that was supposed to come out in 2016.
I’d really love to see some Wes Anderson inspired Lego sets. Grand Budapest Hotel would be amazing with its vibrant color palette or The Belafonte from Life Aquatic as a souped up Yellow Submarine. The only not rated R Wes Anderson movie I could imagine Lego doing a set for is Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Isle of Dogs seems like it could get a set since it’s only PG-13 and it might be even better known than Fantastic Mr. Fox given that it won Best Animated Feature.
Somebody needs to get on a Fantastic Mr. Fox playset for IDEAS asap. It can be done!
@@just2good I might.
@@legometaworld2728 Isle of Dogs didnt win Best Animated Feature that year, Spider Verse did.
I would LOVE to see Quentin Tarantino sets like one for Django Unchained, it would also be a great way to bring back a wild west theme!
I think even regular western sets would be too controversial for LEGO these days
I see them doing it kinda already with 18+ set packaging and all 😁
I would love some Terminator and Rambo Lego sets.
Indiana Jones 1 and 2 are also rated 16 here in germany
If you want to count this I guess you could but the Lego Batman Remote Control Batmobile had a Batman minifig from the game Arkham Knight which was given an M rating. It’s kinda niche and not an official Arkham Knight set but it kinda fits.
I would LOVE to see Lego Alien and most of the horror movies, Five nights at Freddy's, Slender and Creepypastas
Lefo is for all ages. Glad they are doing this
Man I would love a resident evil Spencer mansion set with the classic 1996 look.
there are a TON of games that i wish Lego did sets for, i actually had the idea of a Video game Legends line, where sets would be done on epic video games such as
Batman Arkham
Doom
Uncharted
God Of War
Skyrim
Fallout
Halo
Spiderman PS4
Tomb Raider
Pac Man
Call of Duty
Fortnite (i don't like the game, but it is popular so why not)
Grand theft Auto
Red Dead Redemption
Tetris
Sonic
Mario
Watch_Dogs
Assassins Creed
Need For Speed
The Crew
Splatoon
Hitman
and more
We got Mario, we got Sonic, we kinda got Spider-Man PS4 with that comic con exclusive, but COD?
My favorite Matrix quote is “cookies need love like everything does”
lol
I think it wouldn’t have hurt to add The Daily Bugle. It has Blade and Punisher. Blade was R-rated and although they’re not based on the movies or MCU, the Punisher show didn’t come out that long ago and was MA.
Similar to Daredevil, Kingpin was referenced on a sign and he was in the Hawkeye show played by the same guy as in the Daredevil show which is one of the most brutal villains I’ve ever seen.
It’s a stretch.
i hope they have a rated r theme or something
A terminator Theme would be Awesome
Another example of a mature series being in Lego form was that apparently in the midway arcade world or level in Lego dimensions there was gonna be a mortal kombat reference and Easter egg or something related to it But was scrapped
Yeppp I heard this!
I want more sets of classic sitcoms from the 70s, 80s & 90s.
Also I don’t need sets but a CMF of horror icons like Freddy and Ghostface would be awesome! But considering they’re from so many different studios I don’t see that happening. Maybe if they just did WB Horror icons that could work considering they have Elm street and the conjuring franchise
Lego Dimensions Portal expansion ends with a cutscene that has Black Mesa crates in it. Half-Life has always been rated M.
I’d want a Lego Warhammer 40K theme. We’d get some really cool vehicles, space marine minifigures, and battle mechs
In the daily bugle set Daredevil, Punisher, and Blade appear. All of them are related to R-rated movies/shows
I also find it funny how the Matrix is rated M in Australia.
Dune is not allowed on IDEAS, can you believe it?!
Guess what. There's a dune set now
@@henrybenjamin7606 it all makes sense now
There’s a subtle reference to 21 Jump Street in The Lego Movie.
Way back before the content rules, Cuusoo (as Ideas was called then) let any license go for the 10k!
I would LOVE terminator LEGO sets
I seriously want to get some of those LEGO slip covers
I think they’re still at my walmart lol
@@just2good Interesting
I wish that lego can do R think like mortal kombat like have the pit as a set or other places
A few Always Sunny sitcom sets would be amazing. They could do three very easily. The bar, Frank and Charlie's Place, and Dennis and Mac's place. No one cares about that bird, Dee's place.
Hahah yes pls
I hope they can make some of these sets, like terminator
No official Terminator sets, but that was obviously the inspiration for the Skele-Bots in The Lego Movie.
A evil dead set would be dope
I love to see your face when u talk to the Camara. But really get a nestolgia when seeing the twicth mask in the baggrund love youre video's keep up the god work 🤘
Hahaha thank you so much 😄
damn I'm more surprised at things that were rated R, like the Matrix?
I would LOVE to see a Deadpool Lego set… something from the first movie. It’s never gonna happen, but would be awesome!!
Since Halo Infinite is rated T could it be classified as Lego approved?
Great vid, man. keep it up
5:53 Me when seeing the 2020 and 2021 LEGO City sets
To be fair the first matrix probably should of been pg-13.
Never expected to see a mention of Evil Dead in a Lego product.
Same, Raimi ftw
@@just2good if only Army of Darkness was rated PG-13 😔
Technically deadpool because he is just a violent character soooo yeah
I’d definitely LOVE to see LEGO release sets off adult IPs that are 18+ collectors sets and *NO* playsets
I really want to see a S.S. Karnak Lego set from the novel Death On The Nile by Agatha Christie. The movie is PG-13 but the book is definitely R.
Different Christie novel, but aren't they doing an Orient Express set later this year? Granted, it doesn't have any murders that I'm aware of, but an official Agatha Christie set would be awesome, regardless of what story it was based on.
I'd like to see a Metal Gear series. But sadly no M rated stuff.
😪
Mad Max and James Bond themes would be like a dream come true! But I'd also gladly take some sets based on Edgar Wright movies like Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz or Baby Driver (being my favourite movie of all time)
I also think The Matrix could have some cool sets. They teased a tie in on instagram, but then nothing happened.
And of course, the recent The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker show and movies
James Bond is getting a minifigure set later this year it seems! ruclips.net/video/VGlOo9sJWUE/видео.html
Ever since the release of the Star Wars busts, I’ve wanted a t-800 skull SOOO BAD. It’ll probably never happen though
😢
Nice Research for this video!
Thnkx!!
Yeah movie & TV content ratings are very arbitrary. Fun fact, the movie Venom gets a TV-MA rating when it airs on TV despite being a PG-13
Lmaooo that’s hilarious, didn’t know that
I like how Justin points out Homer flipping off a couple people as an obscene act in the movie, but forgets to point out barts wiener
Just ‘cause it was also in the TVMA episode, and I don’t talk about that body part in my videos tbh, instant demonitization and isn’t necessary 🤣
Can we all agree that the Agent Smith parts in the Lego Batman Movie are all better than Matrix 4?
lol still gotta see it
Even though Portal is technically on the table, it’s a shame that other Valve games like Half-Life or TF2 will probably never become licensed themes.
I was thinking of mentioning orange box being T-M but then again they did Portal 2 just to avoid that i think
To add with the Stranger Things set, Stranger Things has also been in Dead by Daylight, an "M" rated game
Remeber when we almost had Shaun of the Dead Ideas? Have you seen The Suicide Squad and Deadpool 1 and 2.
Yep, those were the day. Seen em all
Lego should make a I am legend theme
Keep in mind that the Lego movie is a Warner Brothers movie, so are the Terminator movies I do believe, which means they are allowed to reference anything within the Warner Brothers catalog.
I never knew Stranger Things was rated higher in other countries. That’s interesting. My sister who is 13 watched all three season and wasn’t really that freaked out so I think PG-13 makes the most sense.
But there aren't a lot of pg 13 movies with bloody and gruesome bodies melt into a wierd blood and guts-monster who tries to kill a bunch of kids.
The dark knight rises joker from the cmf is from a mature movie and comic.
You mean Returns?
Lego Deadpool and Lego Deadpool the Duck are the best examples of R-rated Lego 😂
I get happy when I watch this channel :)
Thank you 🥺
The Daily Bugle with The Punisher & Daredevil
I would love a “300” line even if it’s small
Hahah that’d be cool
I just wanna point this out not all the Terminator movies are rated R, The first three movies are, but Terminator salvation and terminator genesis are PG-13.
I said four are. The first three and Dark Fate, which are the ones I showed 😉
@@just2good oh I probably just missed heard you, i’ve been watching your channel since 2013, I never thought you would ever do a face reveal.
Just reminding my idea of Top 10 of your Top 10 or Top N (n for number) videos
Hahaha
If I remember, a lot of villains from R rated movies we’re gonna also be in the Phantom Zone in The Lego Batman movie before being cut.
Um, what about Deadpool? That should have been on the list, right?
It came out before the Deadpool movie.
Lego made the Rogue Shadow from the Force Unleashed video game which in the UK was 16 rated and also I made a Stranger Things Ideas project two years before the official Lego one but it wasn't even approved for support because it was implied that Stranger Things was too mature and violent a theme for Lego to produce sets of
Considering LEGO's push to target adult consumers with 18+ sets perhaps it's about time they produce 15+ sets with an 18+ label, Lego missing out on big money as they do with not widely releasing SDCC exclusive
Hoping for peacemaker lego Ik it’s not possible but still
I always wanted Lego to do a Dead Space set but that may not happen
😅
Fr same
Lmao I’m from Australia and I had been hearing here and there that the new deadpool movie would be rated R and I was so confused bc the first 2 we’re rated Ma15+ and I got kind of scared for a second and thought I wouldn’t be able to watch it until this video when I found out R is the American version of Ma15+
I want a new Deadpool figure. My 2012 one is “well loved” and i’d love to see what lego could do with new printing
