Yes, I just wanted to say that too, that guy is just2good at triggering Ninjago fans. It probably still had to do with LEGO wanting to get rid of old figures and still wanting to sell the sets with the new minifigures. This thing also happened in many polybags, 2 from Legacy for example.
The stone warrior faces weren't accurate since the stone scout had the stone swords men face and the stone swordsmen had the stone scout face so the whole pack was kinda inaccurate
6:20 The reason Hagrid was given figures was because his body mold is a modified Jack Stone/4+ body mold. The reason Lego did this was likely to cut down on costs and not have to make a completely new mold.

But it's 16+ rated set. It probably refers to 5+ rated City sets. It doesn't make sense to rate it higher, because boys of this age usally watch that movies. I think it applies to the younger. You can see weapons in "Agents" sets (original Lego series). Smaller sets from this series are similar in number of parts to average city sets, but they're rated 7+.

one quirk i noticed in the actual movie is that they never bothered to use the Full-Sized MetalBeard in the live-action segments and thus it's kinda jarring when it switches between the two
11:00 The minifigures are perfectly fine, as the ninja already encountered the stone warriors before they got the new robes. The bigger problem are the golden weapons, which at that time were on the comet Arcturus.

I mean, there were plenty of locations the characters repeatedly visited throughout the series, so it only makes sense to blend certain years together into individual sets so as to maximize the number of story beats hit without having to release duplicate sets with slightly different minifigures .

Hmm, you focussed entirely on minifigures I think. What has always bugged me is 'colourblindness' in the designers, where a model's colours are inconsistent with the screen version, or worse, between different renditions of the same model. I think the reason why Madame Maxine's hair is black is because she has black hair in the books. But in the movie the actor had brown hair.
I cannot ain’t for more videos coming from my favorite insectoid!
One that I noticed at Walmart today, is that several current Harry Potter sets still have the old regular stick piece for a wand, rather than the new custom molded piece.
2:45 Funny enough, the face dosnt even work for either
6:07 not an inconsistency, more like good attention to detail. The play sets where Jesse doesnt have the pull ring are meant as in-universe, where she is a real person, and then the one with the pull ring is actually out of universe, aka in reality, where she is a toy :P I didnt see anyone else comment that, maybe I didnt look hard enough
LOL, I’m not sure I agree that’s what’s going on, but interesting perspective.
Well, I'm sticking to that idea, cause I wanna give Lego some extra credit xD
Does the pale face on black minifigure heads count?
I think the main problem with body details of minifigures is the problem that minifigures weren't designed with noses, fingers, or toes.
Can you do a video about custom lego minifigures and your opinion on them?
6:21 I have an inaccuracy that really annoys me and it is in every LEGO Harry Potter dumbledore set. It is the fact that he has grey hair in the sets but white hair in the movies and the same thing with the newer sets
