And also look at the past and potential future of those #1 movies that already have sets (i.e. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Back to the Future, Batman and Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King). Obviously, certain #1 movies are already well represented by Lego, and continue to be so (i.e. The Empire Strikes Back/Return of the Jedi/Phantom Menace etc, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone/Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and The Avengers/Black Panther/Endgame).

Watching this video gave me an idea for a future video of yours Justin: a top 5 list of Unpopular franchises with surprisingly good sets! (your opinion).
I wouldn’t really count Wizard of Oz, considering the Lego stuff came out so many years later when the movie has become such a classic and many musicals/adaptations of it have been out
I wish Lego would show more love to Western themes. The Lone Ranger sucked, but the tie-in was their only attempt at making a new line of Wild West sets, and it was surprisingly solid. And that really helped with our Lego cowboy fix for the time being, despite being just a one off. I also missed when they brought back those 1960s rail pieces for their mine sets at the time, as they were better than those times they would shoehorn in those new coaster tracks as much as possible.
2 more movies you could add to your list of movies with lego in them are The borrowers , which had a yellow brick if I recall and Esio trot which I'm pretty sure had the nindroid mechdragon from ninjago

You forgot Eternals. While it’s not considered a flop due to the mega power of the MCU, it technically is. And insiders say they’re not moving forward with those characters
Ehhh, maybe if this was a Top 20. There were others that almost made the 10, like Winnie the Pooh 2011 (wrote a whole segment too. Cut last minute), LEGO Ninjago, TLM2
@@just2good Well I don't know that for sure, but I mean Lego haven't reused them since their debut in The Lone Ranger theme in 2013, almost a decade ago, and have also since reverted back to the 90s Johnny Thunder ones for Overwatch and The Batman. My theory is that they either they prefer the less realistic gun mold or it would cost them more to produce again.
Interesting list! Being fairly new to Lego (2021) I missed most of these. Ironically I just recently bought two of the Loan Ranger sets. The train and stagecoach. They are both fantastic. 4:15 You’re missing Avengers Age of Ultron where Thor stepped on a Lego creation in Hawkeye’s house.
Watching this video gave me an idea for a future video of yours Justin: a top 5 list of Unpopular franchises with surprisingly good sets! (your opinion).
I wouldn’t really count Wizard of Oz, considering the Lego stuff came out so many years later when the movie has become such a classic and many musicals/adaptations of it have been out
Eh, then I’d take off Hocus Pocus too. I wanted to show how even some classic movies we love were once flops!
I love the background
I can’t believe that i relate to a RUclipsr a lot
We both like lego and want to film make
ayy
YAY ANOTHER LIST
I don’t care what anyone says, Speed Racer is an underrated gem that gives a fresh take on the racing movie genre
I love the graphics!

Your love for movies really shows in this video! Have you done a Top 10 Movies that should be Lego sets video?
I really should!
@@just2good you def should
0:06 I just realized the mantis on bottom right winks, thats a nice detail.
I DIDNT NOTICE EITHER LOL
Oh, lmao
Awesome video just2good
Is anyone gonna talk about Just2goods sick new background with the words cmf and j2g and other stuff
For your letterboxd list: In Flushed Away (2006), a Lego flower makes a brief cameo in the hands of a rat.
2 more movies you could add to your list of movies with lego in them are The borrowers , which had a yellow brick if I recall and Esio trot which I'm pretty sure had the nindroid mechdragon from ninjago
Added Esio trot, which Borrowers tho
@@just2good the 1997 borrowers with jim broadbent and john goodman
I’m sorry but I lovedddd Ghostbusters 2016. I’ve watched it so many times and I still crack up through the whole movie. I wasn’t into Lego back when the sets came out but the ecto 1 and 2 set was the first retired set I bought on eBay once I got into Lego again. I love it it’s a great little set. Still gotta get the dimensions one though.
Glad you loved it! I did not haha
@@just2good lol it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
That paramore melody slaps
As a huge fan of westerns, I hate the movie and still, that was my favorite wave of sets lego has ever done.
I haven’t seen many westerns, and didn’t like the movie, and agree the sets are GOAT
Digging the new animated background 👌🏻
Thank youuu
You forgot Eternals. While it’s not considered a flop due to the mega power of the MCU, it technically is. And insiders say they’re not moving forward with those characters
Ehhh, maybe if this was a Top 20. There were others that almost made the 10, like Winnie the Pooh 2011 (wrote a whole segment too. Cut last minute), LEGO Ninjago, TLM2
Unpopular opinion but i loved the 2016 Ghostbusters movie.
I love Speed Racer so much, I really wish I could get those sets now or even a remake of some with improved minifigures
They’re actually cheap!
Great Video! I’m surprised you didn’t include Justice League, that’s a pretty infamous flop right there (both the film and the sets)
Eh, made more profit than these! Close to making the list!
Great list!
Good video
2016 ghost busters was a great movie I never knew it didn’t do well
Speed racers are absolutely awesome, i loved the sets
id honestly recommend speed racer. i can understand why it flopped, but that doesnt change the fact its a really solid movie
Really wish Lego didn't bin the revolver molds from The Lone Ranger.
They’re gone?
@@just2good Well I don't know that for sure, but I mean Lego haven't reused them since their debut in The Lone Ranger theme in 2013, almost a decade ago, and have also since reverted back to the 90s Johnny Thunder ones for Overwatch and The Batman. My theory is that they either they prefer the less realistic gun mold or it would cost them more to produce again.
I've never seen the movie, but I really want the lone ranger sets. I'm not even a huge fan of the wild west but those sets are just way too good.
Interesting list! Being fairly new to Lego (2021) I missed most of these. Ironically I just recently bought two of the Loan Ranger sets. The train and stagecoach. They are both fantastic. I may get some of the others if I can find at a good price. Sadly I have not even seen this movie but will watch it now that I got the sets. By the way, John Carter was a very enjoyable movie IMHO. The marketing was terrible and it was laden with comparisons to Star Wars with a lot of folks claiming it was a rip off. If they only realized this franchise was based on books written many years before the first Star Wars movie even premiered.
Thank you for the kind words! I saw John Carter when I was younger and less into movies and don’t remember much, I shall give it a rewatch some time.
Black Panther lego sets have been a huge flop! Literally 50+ percent off on all sets. Even the Bust went on huge sale pretty fast.
But the movie did well.
The sets look like garbage. Ya know its bad when those are the very few Lego sets left on clearance in stores during holiday season.
If morbius film had lego sets, that would be in the list
One of the sets of all time
lol
Not sure if you know, Justin, but it's said that the lowest possible prediction for the budget of *_Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker_* is said to be no lower than $500 million. And the film barely broke a billion, meaning that Disney lost money on that film.
That’s crazy! I didn’t know!
@@just2good Thank Valliant Renegade for that. He does a lot of insight on the financial and business side of Hollywood along with Kamran Pasha and WDW Pro.
