Thanks , your very helpfull
I love watching this guy signing, he is easy to follow and a great example, Thanks
The best BSL channel , hands down. These videos are so good and makes it so much easier to learn!
Hey man thanks I'm trying my best to learn and this really helps😄😄
Dan is so helpful, I love watching him.
Finding these new videos very useful, especially grateful that you show the sign from the side as well as the front. I struggle with whether a movement is clockwise or anti-clockwise, how much does that matter (eg when signing ugly etc).
Thanks for the feedback ✋. For "ugly", the movement is clockwise. It depends a lot on the sign to how much the direction matters, for example the movement would be especially important with a sign like "hour" (which is an O hand in a clockwise circle over the back of the wrist). For a sign like ugly, the important aspects to focus on are the facial expressions, lip pattern and use of the little finger extended (this handshape is used a lot to imply negative meaning).
The best signing demonstrations I have seen. Thanks, you make it so much easier to learn!
Дякую за такий чудовий урок!!!!
Hi, this is great! But what would also be cool is videos of how to form sentences with correct bsl sentence structures? Just because I've been trying to learn sign language for a while and can't work it out! Thanks :)
Good suggestion! Look out for some sentences and phrases in upcoming videos. As well as some videos from Deaf BSL users to help people improve their receptive skills. Thanks for watching ✋
@@CommandingHands thanks so much! :)
It's super easy. I know like 500+ signs. All you need to do is forget about the small words like "to, be, the, etc". Just break down English to a more basic style and you have BSL in a nutshell pretty much.
Commanding Hands you never uploaded sentences :(
The revision list is very helpful thank you
These videos are awesome! Please can you do some more phrases and questions so we can learn how to put words together?
Thanks for your feedback! Yes, we will get some videos up ASAP with phrases and questions. ✋
Commanding Hands thank you!
This guy's instructions is simple but clear.... very good.
You are amazingly good at description
good teaching very useful; seen some different signs but its good to all types, that way can understand all. thank you
Thanks for these vids! As always, they're super helpful!
Can i make a request~ to do a video of atonyms? like buy-sell, work-play, sit-stand sort of thing
Thanks for watching!
We actually filmed a video of opposites in BSL earlier today! We should have it up in within a few days. I don't think those examples you listed were included, but I'll do another one. I'll add to the filming list :)
@@CommandingHands Thank you!! looking forward to it ^_^
Praying to relocate to UK, learning how to sign in advance 😀

hey, love your videos. It would be extremely helpful if you can make a video on "Introduction in BSL". xoxo
Hi, you are the best. Please keep adding 100 signs. Also, tell us how can we connect sentences e, g; If you do my work, I will help you etc.............Is there any online free learning or may be paid learning with exams for learners like me?
These videos are great. I wonder how, when or why I might apply what I've learned....Thanks dude! :)

Any ideas for Premiere League Team signs, Dan? Tysm
I only found this website yesterday and have found it so much easier to use than the one I am currently using. Is there a way to get a credited certificate that goes alongside this as I would like to become a sign language interpreter working with young children any help much appreciated
Hello Am not sure if you will get to read this. But I would like to Thank you for helping me to communicate with my daughter.over the lockdown.
there is something I would like to ask you. Would you be able to help me ? She loves my lighthouse by rend collective but cant find anyone who does this. can you help much appreciated
type into youtube search bar "My Lighthouse BSL"... I got about 5-10 results or so when I searched that a few months ago.Just choose whatever one you prefer/whatever one has more familiar regional signs. Also, you can slow it down using settings if you want to learn it slowly. Also, Rend Collective? Great taste in music I see! 😂 My lighthouse... My lighthouse... Shining in the darkness... I will follow you ooooooh 😂 Oh great, I can't stop singing it now! 😂
thanks for these vids
At 1:32 you sign two thumbs up movements stroking downwards off chin means.. USEFUL Yet on another video on this channel this same sign means FAVOURITE So please tell me which it is.. because every other place I've seen this sign it means FAVOURITE so please can you explain it is very confusing..
If I wanted to say my favourite colour is.. useful and favourite means two different things..
You can use that sign for both , just remember you have to mouth the word useful or favourite whilst signing.
Hi - is the main difference between "orange" and "miserable" the facial expression and the mouth movement?
The best
Thank you ...
Does it matter which hand does which action (if that makes sense)? I notice when you sign certain letters it looks like you're seeing it the right way round like 'D' in DVD so the people you're signing to would see it backwards. I'm keen to understand the ins and outs as I'm a total beginner but I love learning languages and the why and how helps me learn. I appreciate any feedback!
To my understanding, left hand is a paper and right hand is pen...........................I am sure, it might be different for the left handed person................... TEACHER, Please correct me if I am wrong.
@@AHumanVoice123 Ohhh, that would make a lot of sense for me. I hope you're right! Thanks 😊
@@AHumanVoice123 ... wouldn't some of the letters be backwards though..?..aaarrrhhh... I just want to understand and I do this with spoken languages. If you don't ask questions you'll never know...
Is there a word for 'it' ? So if you were saying it depends would you just say depends
