    Did you guys learn something new or was this a good refresher on how drones work in EVE? What are you favorite drones either based on looks or performance?

      Hey bro. I am new to Eve, great game a little complicated. It's all good. I own a standup Cenobite drone. How would I go about using this? Great vid. Thank you.

      @@adamogilvie6951 I honestly had to look that one up lol the one you mentioned isnt a drone, its a fighter. Fighters are basically 'mega drones' that only capital size ships or stations can use. All of the ones I mentioned in this video are combat drones for frigates up to battleships. Hope this helped!

      @@eventon9372 Ohhhhhh. Lol! I was trying to look this up too. I couldn't find any info on it that I understood. I am new, but am learning. I spent a fortune on this and can't even use it. Oh well I'll hang on to it. Thank you again. Look forward to more vids. 🥰🥰🥰

      Always worth this type of video. A lot of us new players don’t have a clue on how the mechanics work. Great video.

    I did sleeper sites in a Sentry fit Domi, with proper management (ie: lights for frigates) it worked great

      me too! it took a lot of reading and comparing but its good to know the difference, mainly between T2 and faction drones.

    Few main things I noticed here, first off, the attributes displayed in the window are actually the drones base states, if they were modified by skills, implants, modules ect. they would show in either red, yellow, or green text. Second, I have never heard people recommending gallente for pve, while thermal is a good damage type in general as its effective against armor ships as well as shield ships as there are resistance holes there, it's generally a better idea to use drones that best match the pirate factions resistance hole. Third, in general, integrated drones see very little use considering the navy ones are just straight up better in every way, but some people do use them as a nice middle ground. Navy drones are often used in abyssal deadspace as they offer superior tracking to all other drones as you mentioned, t2 drones are the most common since they have a good balance of everything, and augmented also see fairly little use thanks to their hefty price tags, but they are the best in every way except tracking. Finally, there were a few things that I actually didn't know about here! Things like gallente drones being more hull tanked, and stuff. Overall good vid just a few things I felt weren't especially clear. Oh yeah, geckos are often seen in pvp either as the one rattle drone, two drones for like, a stratios or something, in tandam with with two mediums and a light drone for as much damage as possible, i never see those subverted ones though.

      thanks for the comment! I was sure I mentioned you should use the resist holes of the whatever you are up against. But if you aren't sure, you can't go wrong with Thermal since the majority of pirates have main or secondary weakness to thermal and does the most damage. I didnt bother with drone bonuses from ships/implants etc to make the video too long and the bonuses are applied to all of the drones anyway. Add 50% more damage and Augmented still does the most dps and faction will still have best tracking.

    Special mention for Salvage drones.. really low damage output ^^, ..and now with added 'nuisance' as after the patch we seem to have to point them to each wreck (my impression after doing a mission with them).

      With no targets selected right click and press salvage on a drone. The drones will auto salvage any wrecks in range in order of distance from your ship.

    Very nice vid. I know you said you only through it together, but I like how you organized it. I was about to suggest you use the "compare tool" in the vid rater than just pulling up each individual drones information....but then you used it...hah!... Appreciate some of your thoughts on it too. You made me want to dig a little deeper into drones. (I didn't realize how skills affect some drones, but not others.... it makes a lot of sense now) I've been making some off the cuff Eve videos over the last several months. Not as nice as yours:) Would you mind if I put in a recommendation for my subscribers to watch yours? I thought I was really helpful!

    fed navy gardes also have better tracking than T2 last I checked (sentry drones)
    but damn you pay a lot for them, imo its not worth it unless you can keep your drones alive with near 100% reliability - if you're doing lvl 4 missions with sentry drones, using expensive ones can eat into your earnings and negate some of the work you are doing
    don't shy from the T1 drones people, they are super affordable and there's nothing wrong with packing your drone bay with t1 drones of ideal sizes and not worrying about what happens to them in a combat site

    • @eventon9372
      @eventon9372  4 года назад +1

      Yup! Especially with the drone update that they wont auto-aggress so people are more likely to have idle drones that will die.

    • @grahamelliott9506
      @grahamelliott9506 4 года назад

      yeah I haven't actually checked the notes but it sounds like drones will have to be manually commanded to attack, which I don't mind so much because I just hotkey that shit
      where I think it will be a bigger deal though is mining while afk/semi afk... you can't rely on your drones to defend you any more and have to be there when rats spawn in the belt to deal with it
