Best video I’ve seen out there for this project. Thanks man! Replaced all 4 speakers with the kicker 6.5” with the stock 430 stereo. Decent upgrade but really need an amp to push speakers. My only additional recommendation is to make sure you have front doors disengaged to easily remove the 2 side screws.
I upgraded my speakers to coaxial and definitely needs an amp to push the speakers. Or maybe the the stock radio needs to be replaced with a better one.
Thanks for the walk through. Why do they have to make things so hard to get in and out! Got a set for the wife's. Got the roll bar done and now dreading the driver side. Think that will be a weekend job.
See that dirt inside that area, it's because there is a filter that you need to add for the fresh air that is located directly behind that speaker/glove box. Buy one, you will not believe the difference in not only the air quality but the dust reduction in the cabin (especially if you live in a dusty area or do a lot of trails)
Great vid! I used it and other videos to compare speaker removal videos, thanks! One tip on the driver side, I used a ratchet strap between the dash and the door latch. Made removing/installation of the driver speaker very easy! Here’s my video clip of the strap method. ruclips.net/video/lSfLVAv1N8o/видео.html
Driver side Finally! Thank you, no one ever shows the driver side speaker. much appreciated

Brian Real thanks, yeah I wish I had taken the doors off. They were super annoying:)

Hanzel T Replaced daughters stock stereo with Kenwood Apple Car Play. Has 3X’s RMS compared to stock stereo and makes all the difference. Super sound!
@@t00chd0wn yea i just did the back ones w/ JBL's in the soundbar w/ stock stereo, sounds like crapola! lol - agreed great vid.
What year is your Jeep? I can’t seem to find an adapter that fits for my Boss speakers.

Nice video... thanks for posting!
Which wire is positive and negative. The factory speakers don’t have any markings and my replacement speakers aren’t plug and play
Why take the whole thing out why not just the speaker
