It’s so annoying. The cheaper cars don’t have anc.
Whenever I attempt to accelerate, and the car is actually moving, the amp just goes crazy 😅

I have the same on my super snake 2017… how do you fix it?
wish you had been more detailed about where the wires went, what connected to what specifically. I know if you know what you're doing it's assumed but I'm here because I don't know what I'm doing LOL
Nice car. For me, it needs 3 pedals or I don't want it. I'd trade some speed for driving engagement any day.
dude you didn't have to bash your herman's legs in, wtf
@@Bey0ndNames There was no damage to the chair base. I used a rubber mallet and what looks like damage is residue from the mallet head. You can see at the end of the video that the chair base has not been damaged.
2019 Bullitt bought brand new. Mine has been making this sound for all 5 years, has 32k miles and zero problems. So, now that it's almost paid off, I will run it and change the motor when it dies, but since the 2024's also make this noise, I'm guessing it may be 150k miles down the road.
Was there an immediate improvement in steering feel? Are there circumstances when you are driving with this mod that you can tell it’s different from before?
@@xifrankie not really it is very subtle
That orange is torque seal, to indicate if the bolt has turned or lossened
Three group N is taller. Does that matter? What’s the number and where did you order from?
I believe I ordered it from import image part number D1010FE020. I don’t recall noticing much of a height difference. The part went in just like the original.
@ that’s the wrong mount. It should be D1010FE000-which has part number ST410224S040 on the rubber. The one u got is too tall and changes the angle of the drive shaft slightly, at worse. At best nothing is wrong.
@@RobHTech they sell the part I bought as the jdm version. Saying it is a bit stiffer than the version you referenced. It seems there is some conflicting information on the sellers websites.
@ yeah that’s why i triple checked. IIR has the wrong part number on the part itself. They also put some poor images, i guess yo hide that it’s not the actual JDM part. SMY sells the actual JDM one with the original part number on it
Would you be able to to replace the filter without changing the oil ? Or will all the oil start leaking from the filter if I try this?
@@tk258 you will likely lose some oil. With all the effort it takes to replace the filter it would be best just to do the oil at the same time.
@indecisivegarage2389 Never underestimate power of stupid. Changing filter without oil, that's a first I've heard of 🤦♂️. I salute your patience Sir
Is there any noticeable difference with that cobb pitch installed from stock? Not sure whether to install one now or wait later down when the bushings start to go.
@@axxo702 on hard shifts it makes a difference there is less engine movement. Just cruising around it is not noticeable. The NVH increase is not much with the Cobb. Essentially just a bit more volume in the deceleration gear whine.
Which tune do you recommend? Im in North Idaho, i got 91 octane. Was leaning towards a Dman OTS tune
@@boonefreeman5384 they are super close but I feel the one from Graham was a bit better.
Thanks for this, getting ready to do the same install on my VB. Might be helpful to post those torque specs in your description for easy reference.
Thanks dude, you helped. Good job.
What adapter did you use to connect the air intake to the Perrin turbo intake?
@@jamesstoddard8790 I used an ets v2 intake so no adapter was needed. The Perrin inlet slips over the ets pipe.
How did you bleed the coolant system?
@ I used a funnel that adapts to the coolant overflow tank. You keep it half full and let the engine run for a while until no air bubbles are coming out
That is the stupidest mod i ever saw would never do anything like that to my Fiesta st
@@randymerlo4070thanks for watching :)
Perrin could deff use a smaller T fittings. The hardest part of the install for sure.
Good point the one for the evap solenoid is too big. Also brass fittings would have been nice.
Most of the videos I have seen for adding a back up camera to this car required using FORscan to go in an change the computer setting to recognize the camera. Was this not the case for your installation?
@@BrianW-i4t yes I do not know of a method to do it without forscan and the factory head unit. I think I went over the settings in a different video. It’s been several years since I did this.

@@indecisivegarage2389 Thank you, much appreciated.
Another question, I hope you can answer. In your video, you go into "APIM Module configuration (AS BUILT format)" and manually change codes, In some other videos I have seen they simply go into "APIM Module configuration" then to "rear vehicle camera" and change it to "enabled." Do you know what the difference is between these two different sequences? Again, thanks for responding to me and for your great videos.
Hey bro, I have the new brz, should I upgrade the sti shift knob or this one? Which one do you think is better
@@dannyli5946 I prefer the bilitworkz, the weight and build quality make the extra cost worth while.
@@indecisivegarage2389which one have more notchy feel?
@@dannyli5946 the knob does not play too much into the notchy feel. You will want to shorten the throw and possibly add stiffer bushings for that. A weighted knob will help the shifts be more fluid or solid engagement by adding more inertia to the shift.
Can you do this with a bose amp with 7 bose speakers from ZL1? I have a 1SS and ordered bose speakers (7) that came off a wrecked ZL1
I'm late to the party but thanks for the vid! Was wondering what people did with the cabin side hose and didnt want to leave it in there. Picked up a 2019 ST a year ago with 17k miles and it's finally time to start putting fun parts on!
after all that I think I'll stick with just the sensors, thanks!
Sad that you got rid of the WRX :(
@@dlau3140 it was fun for sure but the cost to continue mod path did not make sense for me. STI transmission was really likely too to reliably daily the power level I wanted to be at.
Man, am I glad I found this video. I tried doing the bushing last night and could not get them in. Didn't even think that the bushings would have flashing in them. Time to give it another shot.
This sound drives me crazy. Why should a muscle car sound like a diesel school bus? Ford has not impressed me with their decision to ignore the issue. Something causes it so fix it Ford.
Hi do u have the part number ?
Should we be concerned on how you put your tires on the ramps. Because uhhhhh😊
@@anxiousfpv lol I bet the jack stands were not in frame :). Ramps were there as a backup
Gotta say this worked a treat. Was following several install videos and had almost given up as 1 forscan video said to go into a setting that mine showed as camera was activated. Then saw yours saying to go into the current setting changed the settings and bingo it activated the camera. Happy to let my kids drive the car I just bought them now.
You have the most detailed video on this, thank you!
Glad to help
Wouldn't you want to use the new bolts? bolts stretch when you tighten them. not that there's enough torque on these to reaaaally stretch them out, but still.... principle...
If I recall correctly (this was a few years back) the supplied hardware was the wrong thread size or too short. Unless it is a torque to yield or aggressive locking feature reused is fine. Also I have found that the provided hardware for a lot of aftermarket parts is lower grade than the original.
Coolerworx?
What did you do for the heated function hardness since the GT 350 doesn’t have it built in?
@@GarveyMustangMan I just left it deleted. I live in AZ so never use it anyway.
Any difference in sound?
@@JesusPerez-eb6ly not really a more open intake will bring the sound out.
Mine is the actual blending door. Thats the side it boke on mine. Are there 2? Or gears in the vent box that can make thale same sound?

Would these tuners fit on a core PRS SC245? I can't find much information out there about it.
Not sure you may want to reach out to Mann guitars.
YESS THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS I HAVE HAD ONE FOR ABOUT 5 MONTS AND DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL IT 🤦🏻♂️
@@ROBBBIIINNN glad to help
@@indecisivegarage2389 do you recommend using a longer Allen key?
With only 155K on the odometer it seems like a bit early to need new struts. I own a 2012 with 172K on it and original struts are still fine.
They may have a bit more left in them. No leaks but the boots have all disintegrated.
@indecisivegarage2389 my boots were toast a while back. Don't need to replace unless they're leaking oil.
The 20mm looks really nice. I’d like to get some of these for mine. I was wondering if there’s anything other than Loctite that could be used since those threads are so shiny and new.
@@turnerdrywallrestoration8077 the Perrin instructions mentioned oil but you have to toque to a lower value. I am thinking I will use loctite 290 after another round of torque. 290 is designed to wick in on already installed hardware
@@indecisivegarage2389 Oh nice yeah that’s a good idea. 👍
Sick!
To be fair I am a bit obsessive but it was a bit of a pain.
I was considering an AOS, but the install looks so complicating. Thanks for the video
Glad it was helpful!
My 2023 2SS came from the factory with a deleted sound tube! I drive around with the back seat back dropped down so I can hear it more.
Any links to the cylinder you found on Amazon? Just wan to make sure I’m getting the right one

Thank you for the detailed video's!! Did mine in 2hrs because of it!
Would be handy if manufacturers would design easier ways for people to route after market cameras.
That’s for sure this process was a real pain.
Nope but I doubt it would hold up well. lol
