Bro racheting wrenches will make your life so much better. Otherwise I am literally in your debt for this. A guy didn't signal through one of my towns teeny roundabouts and I had to emergency brake and went to second and felt the cable pull. Now my shifting is sloppy and horrible and I need cables. Thank you!!!
Great video ! Thank you. Mine has a little play in the horizontal axis, it's a bit tricky to engage 3rd gear. I'll check my cables and replace if necessary.
Ok I am about to do this now on a RHD. How did you get the cables out from where they are held inside after you jemmied the clips off. You don't show that or the 2 screws in the footrest that you have to unwind to lift it out to get the clip out on the front plastic piece on the drivers side. Thats all I am up to at the moment but still scratching my head how to get cables off the nylon bit you flicked the metal bits off. I haven't got under the bonnet yet!
Exactly what i was looking for thank you! Not enough info on first gens.

Are this OEM cables or aftermarket?
