- ✨ *Epic Furniture Makeover Tutorial!* ✨
Hey everyone! Today, I’m excited to share my latest furniture transformation that’s all about creativity and personal flair! This project is packed with diverse techniques and products that you can easily adapt to your own DIY adventures.
The heart of this makeover was restructuring the entire piece. I used Woodubend mouldings to breathe new life into this once flat and boxy furniture, giving it a beautiful new shape!
But that’s not all! I focused on aging and creating a stunning patina with some of my favorite products. From Salt Wash for added texture and depth to Posh Chalk Crackle Gel that beautifully pushed back the years, every detail counts! I also some gorgeous chalk paint colors to perfectly complement this hybrid style, which blends Gustavan Swedish, French Château, and a touch of English Georgian elegance.
This video turned out to be quite lengthy, so I decided to skip showcasing the marble technique at the end. However, for those of you interested in learning how to achieve a chalk-painted marble effect, I’ve linked a few tutorials below!
I truly hope you enjoy watching this transformation as much as I enjoyed creating it. Don’t forget to subscribe if you’re new here and love what you see! There are many more tutorials just like this one for you to enjoy.

My dear john, you can take somebody’s trash and make it a masterpiece.👍🏽👍🏽
Living in a senior community I see this type of furniture on the curb marked FREE. How happy I am to see it become beautiful
I love it! It looks like it's been hidden away, preserved from light and sight, in the attic of a castle or chateau for a couple hundred years, and you discovered it like a hidden treasure! Beautiful.
@@Jendarhan64 thank you so much I’m pretty happy with how it turned out

Absolutely gorgeous Jonathon !!!!!
Just been watching you apply the mouldings and I am quite amazed at the transformation from what was really pretty bland and 'boxy' to a much more solid looking and 'weighty' cabinet ! I need to have a go at this !

Jonathan, your painting techniques are so inventive and produce magnificent results. This project is absolutely stunning.
@@patriciakumar115 thank you so much. I just try to imagine the years and layers that might be there and hope for the best but in this case this one did turn out pretty good I really like it
I finally finished watching. This piece turned out absolutely beautiful 😍 I love the "marble" top, it's perfect for this piece. ❤
@@geniewebber6812 thank you so so much. I really enjoy doing this one. I’m sure you could probably tell

Hi Jonathon ... Sarah's just joined and I'm really looking forward to seeing you work your magic !
Good call with the bow.
Yesss!❤😍
Awesome!
Impossibly beautiful.
Can't wait to watch🎉
Love these pink🎉
What a difference, it looks completely different
Do you have to paint over the wood u bend with an enamel? With the details I am guessing it is for time?
This project is very inspiring
@@3_3645 that’s a great question and no you don’t have to the only reason I used the enamel spray paint was because I knew that I’d be wet distressing later on and I didn’t want it to come back to the blonde colour of the product you can just paint over with chalk paint or any other brand they come up absolutely beautiful
Johnathan, is that glay or fine wood peaces? I wouldn't think your heating glay? I LOVE YOU WORK
OMGoodness. There's going to be so much fun going on here.
This is just Amazing Johnathon!
I loved seeing the whole process.
This is one of my favorite looks.
Did you seal it with Annie Sloane clear wax?
@@kathleenrose2296 yes clear wax and a touch of dart wax
Grazie 💙
The marvel top is a masterpiece of it's own. May I ask what colour scheme you were using there? Original, old ocre and honfleur or coco maybe?
How beautiful Jonathan, this one is truly Oscar worthy.
Who’s Oscar?
😅@@notyou9743
Thought of you at my neighborhood garage sales, these people sell beautiful antique dressers and lovely pieces for next to nothing, I thought you would buy them all up😂
@@sophiassolace6 usually I like to take the non-antique and make it look antique 😊😊🥴
What did you use for filler? Wood filler? my kitchen is white cabinets with taupe walls. The taupe lets the white pop. Definitely marble but make sure the color is repeated on the piece. nice piece. Nice wall finish also. Old wall paper used to be 2 ft wide. Presidents Lincoln's house.
It's Jonathan!!!!!❤❤❤❤😊
🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
👍👍👍
Sorry to be a pain, but what clue are you using? I watch you all the time, but I never thought I could do anything but this. I would love to try!
didi you use wood glue or just some kind of PVA glue? Thought the WoodUBend on the middle leg was too much. Unless you make it plain
Long but worth it
Me again, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU SOLD THAT. HOW CAN I PURCHASE? I'm new at this so I don't want to purchase anything really expensive as im learning.
Took off work to come home to watch😂
👍
It looks beautiful but all that woodubend is EXPENSIVE for a DIYer! Might as well just buy a new cabinet. lol.
How come you don't have to sand before applying your work?
Considering the time and materials can you make a profit selling this? I hope you have a space somewhere to sell your pieces.
@@3_3645 yes, a lot of time and materials, but this one will definitely be staying with me 😊😊😊
@@JonathonMarcMendesPaintedLoveas it should. Masterpiece comes to my mind
Greetings denis, how is your garden?

Bora?🎉
Maybe font use antiques.
