- my seoul apartment tour is finally here! i've been living in this one-room 원룸 studio for about a year and was so pleased with everything. I was living in a central location between Seoul and Yeongsan station with easy access to 3 subway lines and plenty of options for shops, restaurants and cafes ☕️ i was very happy living alone as i value having a private space to come back to in the evening ✨ i hope you enjoyed my studio room tour and if you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comment section down below 🥰

Ich gehe ende August für ein Studienjahr an der Sookmyung Universität nach Seoul und suche daher nach einer Unterkunft :) Dein Apartment sieht richtig gut aus und die Lage passt auch :) Ist es dort sicher und hast du dich in der Gegend wohl gefühlt? Würdest du das empfehlen können, auch wenn es relativ klein ist? Wie läuft das mit dem Mietprozess ab, gerade als Ausländer, vor allem wenn man kein koreanisch spricht ? 😅 Und ist es wirklich seriös und hast du deine Kaution am Ende alles wiederbekommen? :D (Denn aktuell ist die Kaution laut der Website bei 1,000,000 KRW und das ist ja ein krasser Batzen an Geld, den man auch nicht mal einfach so hat - und die Miete ist deswegen auch nicht unbedingt günstiger (800,000 KRW)).

Hey :) habe mich dort mega wohl gefühlt. Die Gegend ist klasse da du 3 U-bahn Linien hast die nah sind und viele Busse auch. Es ist in der Gegend von Sookmyung Women University deshalb gibt es viele Cafés und Restaurants. Mega nah an Itaewon und HBC. Die Gegend wo Hybe ist ist genau 10 Minuten mit dem Bus entfernt wo es auch tolle Cafés gibt. Nodeul Seom ist auch nah dran mit dem Bus oder Fahrrad. Und es ist besser als Banpo und Yeouido in meiner Sicht 🥰
Alles war seriös :) 1'000'000 Caution ist eigentlich nicht so hoch für Seoul und die centrale Gegend.. meine Freunde haben oft 5'000'000 oder mehr bezahlt. Habe am Ende alles zurückgekriegt. Ist halt immer abhängig vom Wechselkurs. Das beste ist die einfach anschreiben per Kakao ✨️ Sie haben auch manchmal Deals für Ausländer. Kannst ja sagen dass du gehört hast dass die Caution 500'000 wäre 👀 also mit der Kommunikation ist es immer in Korea ein bisschen schwierig aber die Leute versuchen schon Englisch zu sprechen. Mit Papago geht alles. Mietvertrag ist bei der Firma alles auf Englisch und die haben oft Mitarbeiter die Englisch können.
Ich würde es absolut weiter empfehlen und vermisse es eigentlich ganz dolle auch wenn es klein war. Für Seoul war es eigentlich gross genug, weil man ja in der Stadt immer viel außerhalb von zu Hause was macht.

Das klingt doch tatsächlich echt super gut! Und auch dass alles über Englisch geklappt hat und es auch wirklich seriös war, haha :D Da habe ich mich übrigens mit der Zahl verschrieben und noch eine 0 vergessen 🥲, ich meinte 10 Millionen KRW (10,000,000 / 1,000만원 ???)🫠😵😵💫 Das muss ich mir erstmal von verschiedenen Leuten zusammen sammeln, weil so viel habe ich alleine als Studentin gar nicht 😮💨 (maximal umgerechnet ca. 2-3 Tausend € , deswegen falls es da sonst noch irgendwelche Techniken gibt, um diese Kaution zu senken wäre das ganz gut 😅)
Und zu welchem Zeitpunkt würdest du empfehlen die mal zu kontaktieren? (Ich plane so um den 20. August anzureisen) Und wie schnell kann das abgehandelt werden, wenn ich denen schreibe bevor ich dort bin und dann bspw. mit denen vereinbare, dass ich am 21.8. vorbei kommen könnte, um es mir anzusehen und alles weitere - nicht, dass die dann in der Zwischenzeit das weggegeben haben, weil jemand anderes schneller war, obwohl man einen Termin vereinbart hat oder so 😬 Wie war das bei dir damals? Also ich bin da ein bisschen in Panik „ans andere Ende der Welt“ zu fahren und bei meiner Ankunft noch nicht 100% eine Unterkunft sicher zu haben 🫠
@@verenaenvoyage2051 ich würde die am schnellsten kontaktieren weil die haben nicht immer Platz frei. Und ganz ehrlich frage ruhig für die Caution dass du gehört hättest dass es 500'000k wäre. Sie fragen für eine kleine Summe für die Reservierung und es war kein Problem als ich angekommen bin

Be careful, giving too much of a description of your surrounding area. That also means that people will know where to look for you when she stepped outside.
