Love your new pad Anna! Maybe you could put real plants along the window floor, they’d thrive with the great light and plants purify your air! Maybe a foldable pretty screen or curtain in front of your kitchenette at night when you’re in bed so you don’t have to look at it? The coffee table/storage is genius. Everything is so organized! Nice upgrade!

2 suggestions:
1) If u turn the bed 90° or 180° and move it against the wider microwave wall, it may free up more space.
2) The stuck door is mostly likely not sitting on its track properly. You can just check the good side to see how it sit and jiggle the stuck one up and down to fix it.
The shower curtain idea was a stroke of genius. I shared it with my daughter who lives in Seoul. Her shower is also open to the rest of the bath. I agree about the tree out your window. Very pretty.

WOW! $730 in Gagnam. How was this found? Seoul is expensive enough, but that is a REALLY good deal. Even homes in areas outside of Seoul are going for more. Well done 👍
I was just searching a few hours ago and ngl this doesn't seem too unusual for price, sometimes they're smaller but the deposit on those apartments in Gagnam are crazy
Yep this is pretty standard rent! My deposit was 10 million won, so about $7300, which is on the low side for deposits

Congrats on your new place...it is so cute! I have a 3-bed, 2-bath home, with a den, dining room, laundry room but no garage. Storage is a big issue with me too....I think I'm in denial about all the "stuff" I have...I usually purge (kinda) once a year, and I still donate stuff!! Love the perfumes!!

Cute apartment - have tried looking into - Murphy Beds?... The ones that fold up into the wall - they also have storage and will give you the floor space...
Looks so nice! I would love to see you do some renter-friendly design fixes. Like maybe something in your bathroom. I bet it could be a little more fun and fit your personality better. Also, the fake plants in your window are definitely an improvement, but it would be even nicer to put a bunch of low (short) plants there. Plants in the home are good for mental health and they clean the air in your home.

Apartment is super cute…. And looks like we are neighbours! I finally came to SK 2 weeks ago on a working holiday and am based in Gangnam too 🤩. Very true about the tree being a novelty in this area….its all shiny high rises, offices and shopping, but I’m in a great little area with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars. If you happen to hear someone randomly shout out your name in excitement whilst walking the streets, that might just be me 😂🙋🏻♀️

I'm pretty sure you have in korea. 2 I will recommend you a interior designer in Korea that helped one of his client with similar issues. His name is Phil Jung. For the earbud issue- As a child I use to get my ears cleaned out by a doctor using a water pick because I have a lot of build up, so cotton swabs were never going to be enough for me. Plus I’m zero waste as much as possible and don’t like disposable things (and earbuds use to be cotton and cardboard but now it’s often plastic 😣).
But I also didn’t want to invest in a professional water pick machine either. My solution- metal ear cleaning tool kit. Does a better job, keep forever, and the result/ sensation is 👍 (I think you can even find it on temu 😂)
Highly recommend (I was going to mention it when you went to the doctor last time but forget. Glad I have another opportunity)
