@Ordinary Traveler 1 year is totally possible. Unless that accounts for "long term" for you
For your loft bed you might consider buying something like HyperVent it's to go under mattresses for air flow. Originally it was for boats but I know about the from a van lifer. Keeps moisture from building up underneath the mattress and keeps it cooler. With the humidity heat and Seoul during the summer I highly recommend it. Since I mostly use lamps for lighting I have remote control light bulbs. They usually come with a controller that changes the color and brightness. Both of these things are cheap and can be bought on Amazon.
I love these Korean apartment videos. Since I’ve never been to Korea, I can imagine a little what it would be like. I hope someone does apartments around the world or something, so I can get a look at the different styles of different apartments in different places. I liked Danny’s apartment videos too.

Also, a little tip - if red wine ever gets spilled again, quickly cover the stain in salt. It will soak it right up. We accidently smashed a full bottle of red wine on a carpet at uni and covered it in salt and it left no marks!
Yeah, best tip ever! Works almost all the time, just put it on immediately 😊
It's a fantastic apartment, especially the high ceilings and the large windows, I agree. I like the idea of a loft bedroom. It seems cozy and a safe place. It is beautiful and so efficient and functional. Thanks for the tour.

exactly what im thinking every time i see one of these "apartment videos", I would probably be fine making a video like this, since i got placed out in the countryside, but never in a city
I live in a very unique place in Québec by the river and you can see my house in almost all my videos. If i had to hide it i couldn't make any videos at all, it would not make sense as i constantly move from inside to outside, my content cannot be made just sitting in a room. I have only 1680 subs and had 2 stalkers to date, i dealt with them. I get wanting to be safe but you can't live your life in fear and stop doing what you love because of maybe a disgruntled person out here. If they dare come in which has never happened they will be met with a 2' x 4' and a The Rock frying pan plus bear spray 😆
It was very fortunate that the place had furniture and you liked it. It really saves money. A perfect circumstance. A very considerate previous owner!
A nice, renovated, modern, apartment close to the city. The loft is a special touch. On the minus side, I'm not a fan of the window design.

It was nice of Danny, David, and Juwon visiting you in your new place ! U got great deal for this apartment. In the US, u have to bring your own furniture and decorate your place from the scratch. How is the water pressure in the shower ? Usually here it is low when u move , and you have to call maintenance to fix it .
Yeah most places are unfurnished too but I just got lucky :) My water pressure is fine!

Nice apartment! I love how efficiently you can utilize the space and how most of the storage is out of sight. I suppose having a bed with a low ceiling isn’t the worst thing, since it kinda forces you to get out to do anything. It seems like you’re too tall for this apartment 😆

@Anna Lee, you have the nicest apt I've seen from Korean vloggers. You lucked out on it being already furnished. It looks so warm & cozy. I never knew that about gifting tp when you visit a person's home for the first time. I usually gift wine or a plant. I love your fabric BTS poster, but shipping from Korea to Canada is insane!!

Wine and plants are good too! But toilet paper has been a long standing tradition 😁
A little tip about unused wine. Freeze the leftover wine in an ice tray. Whenever you need to make some sort of sauce, you can deglaze a pan you just cooked meat in with a couple of wine ice cubes.

Really like how you make use of space to maximise storage and avoid clutter especially in this type of officetel. Great find and quick set up -already looks lived-in. Loved the toilet paper welcome gift from the Nakd Seoul crew Anna 😄
I love the apartment, lucky to get a loft with high ceilings, especially in Seoul. I'm so happy for you Anna 😍. Interesting to see the apartment lifestyle in Korea, I would love to vist Korea and live that easy going lifestyle, it would be such an special experience 💖.
That is a very cheap price, I was paying 800 for a place in Seoul and it was smaller. But yeah the owner did a great job making it look like it did. Nice work finding that Anna.

Your place looks great. The fact that all that furniture came with it is so worth the money. Love that coffee table. I was just going to tell you that lofts are hard bc you have to crawl around upstairs. (I lived in a loft studio in the college dorms, there was no kitchen and I had to share it with 1 roommate.) The natural lighting and big windows are amazing. So happy for you. Have fun in NY.

Thanks for sharing your lovely, modern apartment. I admire the light, airy, bright aesthetic - it suits you. Classy neutrals and pops of bright color - the orange pillow. Congratulations on finding this place and making it yours. I like how your sleep area is separate from your "living area." That might help ease your sleeping - the low ceiling in the loft - keeping out computer and other distractions.
Aside: the wine stain doesn't look that bad to me. Your visitors will probably be looking at each other or features of your apartment.

The table is really good! May I know what brand and model is the living room table? Good for working and eating and as a coffee table!
If I find out, I’ll let you know! But I’m sure you can Google ‘fold out coffee table’ and you’ll find similar options 👍
Absolutely love your apartment, its so light and spacious 🤩 The price is really reasonable too and a good location! The toilet paper gifts made me laugh, I am 100% gifting some when I next go to a house warming in UK. They will be so shocked 😂 You must be delighted to have your own space!

That price for a place in Seoul, wich I enjoyed a lot, get me super jealous ! I'm currently looking to rent a place near the french Alpes (not even the best part) and prices are f'ing ridiculous. You don't even get something too that level of quality. What a gem !

you could put an ikea kallax shelf at the wall beside the bed,it will give you tons of storage and would look nice... love your apartment its a vibe
I lived in Ewha Univ. in 2009 and it's funny how your officetel is EXACTLY the same as mine in terms of layout and size. Brought back some memories. Some things to consider, make sure you get some sealant inserts for the windows as most of the windows leak a bit, which really impacts your heating and cooling bill. Sleep with earplugs and an eyemask if you can do it - it can get bright and loud. Lastly, it cost 10mm jeonse back then as well, and 1.3million Won, so definitely has dropped in price from 14 years ago. Enjoy!!
So happy for you! Love the apartment. In comparison to NYC the deposit for the apartment is equivalent to a couple of months rent. You definitely are lucky that the owner has such great taste. You really saved alot of money not having to furnish the place. Hope you really enjoy your new place!

in europe you also don't wear shoes inside! (well in most think) especially here in the nordic countries. I have cops on speed dial if someone doesn't take off their shoes lol. I absolutely loved this video, that loft is like a dream of mine to have ❤ i love the tradition to bring toilet paper as a housewarming gift! That's so useful!!
This apartment is so beautiful
It's cute, just enough for one person and you can see spaces are really optimized with clever hacks. The problem I would have is not able to go out. I'm used to stepping out into a garden and having all windows open, so this would feel claustrophobic. But then, I wouldn't live in the city either. I like being in nature too much.

Great apartment! Really cozy. Everything is so nice and neat. I absolutely love loft style flats. The only thing (which is not related to apartment itself) is that the camera kept shaking and I felt a bit dizzy coz of that. It was a bit uncomfy to watch. But I guess that's only my specific problem. That's why I don't play video games). Great flat, great content!

Interesting that it is furnished and had some decorations, not a blank slate ... saves you spending a lot of money to furnish the apartment. And you having to buy a bed move it up the flight of stairs.

I am Korean, well Canadian Korean. My mom said, bringing a box of matches (not one match box or stick). It signifies good luck, just like how a fire spread. You wish good luck spreads like a fire.
