Russia is a great country with really nice people.
The whole of Russia is full of places far more beautifull, unique, and magical than switzerland (I have been to both countries) . It is just that Russian beauty is not known neither promoted as much as it is switzerland.....You have a huge opportunity creating and promoting tours to all the natural wonders and unique and diverse culture that you have there
This is the truth but its almost impossible for Russia to push against all those false narratives in the Western media, Hollywood and so on that have far greater auditory and possibilities. So I think Russians just gave up and said "You think we live in the country where drunk gangsters fight for a bottle of vodka on streets with gloomy commieblocks? Fine, we dont care, and its your loss".
Luckily now we have social media and those people who are interested can see how things really are.

such a rich old history with great tourist spots. the architecture where ever you go is always so nice we dont have those older types of things here (like the walk down the stairs from your apartment). we are so mislead here in the US with our media about russia. i think if i ever came to russia they would have a tough time getting me to leave!

The town looks nice, however, I don’t think any normal person would or can visit there for the next 10-20 years.😒🤷♀️ I enjoy your videos, but it is a bit confusing to see the calmness so close to Crimea.

In my understanding at the moment by car this is only possible from Finland (if traveling from the EU) but that would be a very loooong drive. Also tourist visa process is frozen.
And yes, I know nice Russians, and I have no political opinions. Otherwise I would not even watch these videos.

@@annarytkoenen1339 Anna -- They (the US propaganda machine) would say that. Crimea is a particularly hard nut to crack militarily due to the terrain. Remember the Crimean War? The more usual outcome for any nation which takes on a superpower (like Russia) is to be ground to dust. I feel sorry for the Ukrainian people and the way they have been misled by war criminal Zelenski, but the outlook for them and their what used to be beautiful country, is grim. Regretfully, there is much suffering still to come. None of the NATO / EU leaders are brave enough to put a stop to this (now) senseless war.

I have supported Svetlana, as have many others, that she continue making tourism and culture videos despite the "situation" as she wisely and carefully calls it, of which she is not responsible for. Russia is 17 M sq km in area so I guess most of it IS peaceful, but you must be naive in the extreme...........

You would maybe appreciate our « Brienzer Rothorn » 2’352m! Two panorama carriages are pushed to the top by a steam locomotive 🚂. On halfway there’s a stop for a water replenishment of the boilers 🚿. Often appreciated by people who find it difficult to breathe at altitude 👒. On top you have a diving view on the the lakes of « Brienz » and « Thun » . 🍻🦆🦆🦆

I traveled from Anapa to Sochi years ago and I stopped for a sparkling wine degustation at Abrau-Durso cellars. I bought wine and I brought it to Spain. The coast is incredibly beautiful. Fortunately I have an intermediate level of Russian as English -even less Spanish- is not spoken widely there. I don't think the area is well-known by international tourists (I enjoyed not seeing them though).
Really enjoyed this video, the scenery, music and you are of course a feast for all eyes.

I like Abrau-Dyurso - both this area, and the sparkling wine, especially brut. At the plant there is even a "Degorgeage shop" ("Цех дегоржажа"), at least it was 8 years ago

You have shown how Russia is a beautiful country with beautiful people, in contrast to the lies promulgated by the West. I don't know how you survived in the cold wine cellars in that little dress. I'll be honest, I'm not too fond of sparking wine and especially dry champagne. I prefer a hot coffee and pastry any day! In the West, we think of Russia as a cold (freezing temperatures) country, but in the summer, it is surprisingly hot. The Russian people must stick together in these difficult and challenging times and support President Putin. Russia and the Russian people must never be conquered. They are an important part of our mode3rn world. Thank you again Svetlana for your wonderful videos. God bless you!

Its interesting to compare Western culture with Russian culture.
Its a bit difficult to say for sure because there would be some overlapping of cultures.
To some extent Russian culture is better because Western culture is too heavily influenced by hedonism and sybaritism.
Initially I rejected Soviet Russian doctrine as purely propaganda but not so recently I've begun to realise the Russians are right.
Sure there were some bad eggs in Russian leadership still having thought about it Russia's warnings about hedonism and "appealing to ones basic instincts and desires" was absolutely correct.
Hedonism does it really bring pleasure to both genders equally?
The sixties so called sexual revolution didn't really empower women, it made it much easier for men (alpha men) to get plenty of alpha females but not for beta's, deltas, and normal average citizens.
It's divided us and made society not a better place but for most people a worse place.
The mental health of average Westerners has gotten much worse.
We've become dumber and less educated.
Overall this social experiment has been a disaster.
Increasingly most people are unhappy through stress and capitalism.
Capitalism now means .1% have most of the money.
A tiny subset of the population are incredibly wealthy while extreme poverty of the underclasses has become the norm.
The U.S dollar dominates because its the petrodollar and because they made it a currency that all Western countries trades with to purchase oil and other goods.
The problem with that is its not worth what its traded at.
Because America has an enormous military everything else in America is crumbling.
Infrastructure is crumbling through lack of maintenance.
Social services have been cut back (austerity)
U.S has officially 30 trillion debt but they don't count unfunded liabilities like Medicare, Medicaid, and food stamps.
The true debt is a massive 230 trillion debt.
Any other currency is much lower because America decides the dollars value.
If you trade in dollars you pay a huge tax which I guess is .30 to .40 %
The U.S dollar's value is essentially worthless without this parasitic relationship.
Most if not all currencies appear to prop up U.S dollars.
And it's debt.
Eventually any other currency is going to destroy that countries wealth and the wealth of the people that live in these Western countries.
Western countries are feeling the pressure of inflation because of this relationship with the U.S dollar.
If it was a 1:1 relationship in terms of its value it would be a fair trade but its not.
U.S want us to pay not $1 for their $1 they want an extra 40c.
A$1.40 for $1.00
Russian because its trying to reduce its reliance on the U.S dollar is in much better shape.
Take away the sanctions you have a very prosperous country.
Even with sanctions its doing relatively well despite sanctions.
Cheap oil.
Cheap gas.
Cheap electricity.
This is why Russia is still doing well despite the attack on its ability to trade with other nations.

When I visited the Soviet Union in 1988, one of the few things I found to be comforting was a bottle of Champagne from Georgia! The very BEST … much better than French Champagne!
