My childhood memories back,the happy 80's was the same in Hungary, now we got the modern world, no happiness, no chatting between peoples, everybody roush to get more money to paying bills, buying more stupid stuff, more smarter phone, a higher definition TV,etc,and always on the damn phone.

Hi Svetlana, it’s so nice to see you again, when I go to see my farming friends it’s such a special experience it reminds you that although it is a difficult life in many ways it’s always good to be given life lessons, it appears that you are country girl at heart I can see the pleasure it gives you when you experience a more simple life, and it says a lot about how you care for your friends and family, your a very special person and it’s lovely to witness so thank you, looking forward to your next adventure.

That beginning brought me back to when I was 7 years old- In Germany, our village neighbor had a huge cherry tree that overhung the property line. It was a total first for me, never had a fruit tree on or near anywhere I lived before. Also had a pear tree, raspberry and gooseberry bushes...good times.
Oh snap, I wanted to see the inside of that 'Magazine' store. I got some Mexican border town vibes off of it, too.

what a great harvest everything seems to grow so well and such a variety of things. yes on the cow milking i love the way the livestock roams around there. never seen that done with a pumpkin. is it a special type? im guessing sugar is what you were putting on it. gotta try that one!

In Australia my job every morning was milking the cow before school and there was no beautiful milking maids to help😞
AIN'T IT JUST AIN'T IT 😎 Love it....And I have milked cow's,, goats....Gathered hay ...gathered and stripped sugar cane by hand run tractor.. combines... neutered pig's.... castrate bovine.... gathered corn.....etc.... It's a great thing.... I love fresh milk and butter and cheese oh my.... thanks 😎 for sharing...

Cost me $800 to $1000 for heating oil to last the winter. Nobody uses coal here anymore. Natural gas or oil. Some people have wood stove for backup. Power rarely goes out internet never goes out. It’s like the 1950s there.

I grew up in a very rural part of the United States. There is so much about the infrastructure and vibe of this Kazakhstan community that reminds of the poor farming community where I grew up in the U.S.

Thank you Svetlana for showing this . I heard through my family my Late grandfather milk cows by hand daily until the age of 93 . I heard that the white face cows are the best milkers .

what i notice first in former USSR countries is the facades and fences, its alot of painted metal and brick, and all coloured in funny colors like pale blue and pink :)

Milking cows, that is what our family does , have been at it for one hundred years. We use milking machines, I am pretty useless at hand milking but my parents were very good as that was the way cows were milked when they were growing up in our part of Australia.
Svetlana, it reminds me of the rural United States! By the way, your English is incredibly good. I wish I could speak Russian half that good. By the way I have milked a cow; I wasn’t very good, though.

It’s interesting to remember what I was taught in school (and the news) about the Soviet Union , and then see how little has changed in some small villages, but how culturally savvy people are about the world at large.
