It may take two to make a baby - but not necessarily two to bring it up. So what makes a parent decide to stay or go? Especially if that parent is a dad.
From the California mouse mother who has to kickstart her partner's paternal instincts, to Adelie penguin parents who can't leave their eggs alone for five minutes; from cheetah mums practicing promiscuity to keep the dads on side, to flamingo parents both producing milk for their young. We see just how far these incredible parents go in order to protect and nurture as many offspring as possible through to adulthood.

Colorless flamingos exist as the crustaceans aren't in EVERY water source. There are other ways to mimic the color, as shrimp is another crustacean that gives flamingos pink.
So, maybe dying the crustaceans green?

Idk about you guys but I like how the parents are willing to lose their color and give it to their offspring like passing on the torch from one generation to another.

Ah the memories~ I picked flamingos in science class for our animal essay. When I read mine to the class my teacher actually stopped me mid sentence when I got to the throat-milk part. I got upset so she sent me to the principles office. Once I had a chance to explain she checked it out an proceeded to then "school" my teacher for not doing so, I think its the only time I actually saw her get mad. Nature can truly be stranger then fiction.

while they do eat shrimp too, the algae has higher concentration and they eat more of algae than shrimp.

Flamingo milk is special, it's much different from normal milk. Giving a baby flamingo cow milk will lead to bad stomach problems, also flamingos milk is much thicker, giving a flamingo cow milk will make it go down its trachea (windpipe) and it will drown.
