  • After I traded in my 17 SR5 to a 23 TRD Sport 4x4, the dealership let me keep my OEM Tri-fold hard top tonneau cover and I took all the parts out, except the plastic covers that go on the striker plate, so I ended up buying those separately, and out of curiosity I got all the part numbers. This is a quick installation guide, not a full tutorial. Hope this helps because I was struggling a lot trying to find those part numbers/names online.

watching this in 2024 looking to compare getting an MX4, vs the OEM, and this looks way more intrusive and confusing then going aftermarket for a Tonneau, thanks for the vid

@@DirtRoadRemedy it wasn’t too bad. But yes getting the parts was the most confusing in this process

Where can I get those parts? I have the cover but not the bolts.

I bought them from the dealership. I listed part numbers in that invoice at the beginning of the video. Hope that helps, and apologies for the late reply

How’s the back to black holding up?

It lasted about 6 months, with constantly washing the car once a week. It’s still holding, just not as when I first did it
