While many Christians today think the Old Testament is for Israel and the New Testament is for the whole world, this is not the case. Israel is mentioned repeatedly throughout both the Old and New Testaments. In fact, the entire Bible is God's Word to his peculiar people, Israel.
“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people.” Luke 1:68
