- The all new Wizard Base and Base High have finally arrived. It's been a long wait for those who pre ordered the skate months ago... A collaboration between Wizard, FR Skates and Intuition Liners to create the perfect boot for Wizard skating. Did they succeed? We shall see in time, but for now, it's looking good.
I had about 20 minutes to film this video before sending the skates out to the customers so Ilaria helped me smash it out on her Iphone in full 4k video for you to enjoy.

900€ 👀?! The skate is 🔥but damn this is expensive (will stick to my gutted pairs for now, btw I got a similar carbon cuff on one of these, one from Igor's I had to reshape a lil bit, and imho it's not a good addition)
Ungutted Seba Cj Carbon 500€ / Intuition liners 220€ / FR Carbon Cuff 150€ = 870€ VS 907€. I'd choose the Wizard Boot
@@Wizaris84 Yeah, NOW, but before these, it has been the normal wizard version. Also, keep in mind that these have been almost completely sold out since they were announced.
Presented this way for sure, almost looks like a bargain, except I paid less than that for 3 pairs, 3 intuition liners (V1, V2 & premium) and a carbon cuff. 220€ is for Intuition premium, not regular and jeez I did not know these carbon cuff were that expensive, but as said not a good addition imho. I get that the industry got to eat but those prices are over the roof, would it be adapt masterpieces, sl boot, iqon line up or this one, this is getting ridiculous. Not gonna deny that this wizard boot is 🔥and that the high version is a nice touch though.
Just look at the FR sl freeride intuition . Carbon skate, intuition inside, complete with frame and Alu core wheels and is 750€ roughly.
My Base High boots will be here this Saturday - YAY

Thanks for the tip and for watching, I'll keep that in mind. One day my editing will keep up with my skating. I've been working on my filming this year which I think has improved since I got the new Camera

At 2:31, in the Wizard base, looks like the front mounting point is not in the center of the boot at all :)
No way this is a mistake... wonder what the reasoning is for designing it this way

Carbon boot so definitely not soft but having the removable liner has so many benefits! Great to see that, and intuition always make some nice looking liners. Thanks for watching 🙏
@@SJRollerblading Ah sorry I always think of Carbonboots as softboots because of Thisissoul defining softboots as not having a liner. Because I have found the majority of carbon skates offered to be without liners, my brain totally put carbon into the softboot category even when it is by TIS's definition a hardboot via liner.
Friggin 900 euros bro... I don't think we will see many younger people on these skates! Definitely for the 30+ crowd... maybe even the 40+.
There isn't any side block for protection against falling. Almost all boots have a couple bits of plastic sticking out to keep the softer material from scratching. Do you believe this is in part "planned obsolescence," to keep the 40+ crowd buying new boots every couple years?
@@FenwynFlies I think this skate is aimed at people who want to perfect Wizard skating. It is top of the range to make the wizard moves easier so proper wizards can push the boundaries of the sport. It's definitely not for those who want to do a bit of everything on their skates. That's what I think anyway. It would be extremely hard to get a pair anyway as I'm sure they are completely sold out. I assume they will come back again but who knows how long that would take.
