super cool theory that i have (spoilers) bsm saying that spearmaster isnt naturally born and spearmaster being a messenger of srs implies that srs knew how to genetically modify and create new lifeforms. 5p in the state that he'll be and the transcription between srs and nsh implies that srs told 5p how to create life of his own which lead 5p to create the abomination longlegs if this is the case, it makes me wonder what srs's place looks like
I agree. But if you think about it, these rots that were accidentally created were meant to be a means of escape and living for Five Pebbles. In the end, Seven Red Sun's should've been smarter with the information, but nobody could have known the desperation or curiosity Five Pebbles had. What I'm more curious about is how did they create life within their chambers in the first place? Did the Ancients intend to build robot operated laboratories inside of the iterators to help expand their means of creating the ultimate solution of death? Who knows.
@@kylerbellis1385 i mightve figured that out too. Memory Conflux on the map files on both moon and pebbles's regions goes by LAB_#, which might imply that memory conflux doubled as a experimental chambers, especially considering they are all white rooms with the same size and very similar details compared to one another. you may be thing then "memory conflux does have a lot of rot at the bottom of it, but unfortunate development extends so far down" but then you realize that on Rivulet, the rot eaten and dissolved half of the memory conflux rooms plus parts of rooms that share the same memory conflux look, while the gravity disruptor room although accumulated into an unrecognizable mess is still in one piece. even more that the big memory conflux room's center has also been completely eaten.
@Cinnimin Very interesting. That explains a lot about how it was able to spread not only to Five Pebbles but also to Sister Moon / Looks To The Moon. I wonder how many laboratory networks were built. Not only above ground, but underground too. Could you imagine how big it would be? If the Ancients were capable of having enough materials to build sentient supercomputers that were litterly the sizes of mega cities, then how complex are these laboratories? Maby a million times over the complexity that even the Residen Evil laboratories could ever be.
coming back to this if both five pebbles and seven red suns have been in the sliverist party (the one that believes that youre supposed to die to solve The Great Problem) then that means the code that they exchanged was to overwrite the self destruction taboo, the rot itself.
When i was in waterfront facility going to moon at 1:51:24. It actually started raining in real life and it felt so good. It was night and i could hear the thunder from rain world and then from real life it was so cool.
I once found a blue overseer too while trying to exit chimney canopy, guess what, I died because this area sucks, vulture kings camping and sniping you from another screen
the blue overseers are from five pebbles and the yellow ones are looks to the moons, don’t know why they made it the opposite of what the iterators colors are
Chimney canopy is one of the most cancerous areas in this campaign, dude I swear this area will kill you in the most random ways possibles, I once died to a random elite scav, died to vulture kings killing me on another screen, I almost died to the rain because I had to deal if 3 vulture kings on the same screen and after all this shit 2 normal vulture came to screw me, I was only able to reach the shelter because the rain was coming and they run away, thx God I was close to the shelter otherwise it would be another failed attempt, my karma reseted to the lowest possible like always and I had to grind karma
I think it was there just randomly... but I assume it was a trap from a dropwig that already caught some other prey before I got there. Always have to be cautious when there's something good lying around!
All the time you was without spear I thought: make a spear, why don’t you do this. Another thought was please, change hands:) you are really good in playing this game! 5 hours, I impressed. Thank you for this video. It helps me to keep trying!
You do, yes. You can visit before, but you have to go back again after visiting 5P. There's different dialogue if you go before getting it which is kinda cool, but going back and forth is pain!
Thanks for recording yourself going through it, it was really nice to see LTTM and her structure still standing-and I really liked the ending, but I was never going to beat it myself. I pretty much loathed this campaign. Did not find the mechanics fun at all, found the narrative conceit of hunting down all these little lore antennae extremely contrived and annoying?? And gamey, too. Like, those collectible things are fantastic for unlocking arenas and stuff, but as the main delivery mechanism for your plot?? Why??? And I also… kind of don’t wanna know everything about this world. I think a lot of its power lies in the yearning it conjures up, the feeling that so much knowledge and culture is just lost to time, buried under debris or trapped inside decayed machines. Plus I just wasn’t digging the dialogue. I really really wanted to, for the record, but all throughout the dlc I'm not sure they nailed the style of... prose or character or whatever of the speaking characters. There was an elegance to the base-game's writing and I don't think they were able to capture it. At least, quite a lot of the time. I got a quote spoiled for me that is actually super beautiful, and I have been deeply moved by some of visual and thematic storytelling of the campaigns, so I really don't wanna say the DLC was 'poorly written,' it's often thoughtful and clever conceptually and aimed to deliver new emotional experiences that broaden and deepen the ways you think about the game's world, all of that stuff is fantastic. But yeah some of the dialogue is pretty wonky/stilted. like, "I hope eventually when you are out of this state of mind you will look back at these. Look back at all the regrets you've set yourself up to have." It's a sort of wonkiness I don't really know how put into words, like there's nothing _technically_ wrong with it, but it just doesn't hit. It's frustrating to read.
Well said. As I got more of the story, it kind of changed how I felt about it, and I'm with you on not needing to know all the details. I feel a certain way about the events that happened and I don't mind filling in some of the details with how I've interpreted the world based on my experience. I'm very happy with the DLC, but some of it, like the challenges of carrying or not being able to carry things was a bit much for me to get the whole story.
Oh yeah, thank you! I'd love to know-are there any optional broadcasts you encountered that you think filled in key context for Rivulet or Saint that I should know going in? Those are the only ones I haven't played yet.@@longplaytv4402 also--yeah. wow. not being able to store that pearl looked like a mammoth ordeal.
Hello! I've been playing spearmaster before i saw this video, i've entered through shaded citadel instead and now at a different spot at waterfront facility. Where would the cordinates be to struts?
I spent 5 hours trying to complete the spear campaign but thanks to your video I managed to complete it in 2 hours. It helped a lot.
2 hours wtf you a god or something ?

nah that actually gets you a bit extra dialogue from pebbles and a bit less confusion after visiting him
nice
yes you are right
indeed, the information you have provided is factual.
I just can't get through that one climbing bit in the struts bcs the coalescepedes form so fast ☹️
Do you have to carry the pearl thing all the way from 5P to Moon?
Yes, it's the only way to progress the quest unfortunately.
