What tune are you running? Custom or OTS? The only power mod you talked about and listed was meth. Not knocking you, your car looks and sounds pretty quick. I just find it hard to believe is all.

Did you also know that a ported K03 can push almost as much air through it as a K04? The limitation being the hot side of the turbo is smaller and running more boost brings your EGTs up more quickly, but a K03 is good for about 300 whp. Kind of obvious that the hpfp would need to be modified for an FSI, so I'm not even sure what the point of bringing that up was?

the car might be the (gti edition 30) that has the same engine with s3 tfsi and k04 turbo ,that engine is much stronger than standart gti engine with 200hp and the power was 230hp stock, otherwise there is no way stock 2.0tfsi 200hp (bwa) produce with k03 300whp even with vp import map

93455Driver I thought I was going to have problems passing sound, because once I took my hi-flo cat out, and went totally straight from the turbo back, it got REALLY loud! Like probably 100+ DB. But since my neuspeed exhaust is so goddamn quiet, everything worked out perfectly. Just strap the exhaust on for any 90 DB trackday

Well, during vintage races/Monterey time of year they don't have a sound limitation and a lot of those old can am V8 cars you can hear them in the valley. It might seem like bs but I stay in the valley during Monterey and once you crest the laureles grade, you can start to hear the cars at the track. And halfway through laureles is still tons of population and houses. So it's for the local residents so they don't go insane. The closest house is only a mile or so.
I like the noise so I am definitely biased! I lived in Monterey for a few years, liked the noise but did not like the track traffic when I was driving to work in Salinas. Sometimes the bikers were a pain (read dangerous) on PCH. Can understand folks getting upset if a track springs up next to their homes, would not be good.
Was his car on pss4 tires? Did you try the Continentals extremecontact sport on your 5 series? I got them on my crossfire. What do you think of them? I like them.
It was on Advan A048 R comps, extremely sticky. I haven't gotten new tires on my 540i yet. Patched up the leak and going to run these into the ground. :)
Zygrene ok track-road legal tires. I think you mentioned it in the video I missed it. I had crappy tires before on my car. A no name brand called 'ovation'. My new contis made a huge difference in grip, confidence and nvh. A lot more quiet and smooth. Definitely great road tires. My car was not fun to drive until I got those on. Great video btw.

MK7 gti owner here and we barely make 320whp on stock turbo stage 2. A stock turbo mk5 is making no more than 250whp on a dynojet with all supporting mods. Meth will get you near 265whp and that's maxed out. A seen a franken mk5 make only 325whp and that's with internal work done. A mk5 rods are weak and can't handle that power without internal work. Call bs here.
Forum tuners should learn how to do a little bit more research before posting misinformation. A MK4 1.8T with a factory K03 made 270 whp by porting out the turbo and tuning the car (dyno charts on the Vortex if you search for it). You don't really know what all the owner has done to the car, because he didn't go through everything that was done to the car. Being a MK7 owner doesn't make you an expert either, so I'm not sure why you'd bother to bring that up. NerdGenius...more like NerdDoofus.

AFCA020 the issue with DSG in a track car is that they get really hot and can overheat. They shift faster, but if I can’t run it hard over 30 minutes in the middle of summer I’d rather have the manual clutch.

My car has 350 hp aswell but in pappers 370 hp. We tested the car and the true hp was 350 with the edition 30 model stage 3.
