@@ryanns_aviation I can kind of relate to this! Once, playing FSX, I requested landing at Munich airport. I was cleared to land, they didn`t just give me the info where to land. And I landed. Then just a second after touchdown: "PAN AM 175, YOU WERE NOT CLEARED TO LAND, CLEAR THE RUNWAY!!!!!"

@@jinxyblue6873 the checklist incomplete norm had to be a glitch bc as seen in the video, speedbrake was armed, gear was down and flaps was 30. ATC mucked up the landing clearence
@@ryanns_aviation It said you weren't cleared for the landing when you touched down, because you thought you were cleared to land, but you were only cleared for the approach.(hope this helps)
@@ryanns_aviation Usually when a pilot makes an irregular maneuver like an unauthorized landing or something like that, atc will ask the pilots to copy a phone number to talk later. This process is called pilot deviation and it often ends up with the pilot without the license. Hope it helps!
I'm really not good at such simulators but don't you need to have two white and two red lights? (The PAPI, Precision Approach Path Indicator) You have 4 white lights all the time which should mean that your approach is way to high.

Nah the default ATC is garbage, asks to go to 5000 then to FL390...on you guessed it on final approached

You were cleared for the APPROACH not the landing those are two completely different clearances.

correct, his height was too high. In real life that would have been a v.hard landing.
its not a 'need' it is something correctable but i just didnt bother
you are over-correcting the flight controls. Smoothly move you yoke around. Also red over white, that landing was completely unstable
