Grew up on Motown and so glad that was a big part of my youth. Loved all the artists and the songwriters and the Funk Brothers. The amazing success of Motown was something we will never see again. Thank you for all the great music. 👏❤️🇨🇦

This video is so wonderful and full of Motown educational history Mr. Dozier is sharing just to hear him speak of the magical Marvin Gaye and his one take magic that topped the chart and the Supremes and the song they even thought could never succeed, the girls had taken it to the top and the nightDiana Ross became a stylist I totally agree. Thank you LaMont for shring father’s memories with us!🤘🏼

What wonderful songs that Lamont Dozier. And his writing partners wrote. I'm a singer myself. I just haven't made it big. Also I'm a songwriter/ composer, actor, producer, etc. I've had dreams of being a Motown artists! I think 🤔💬🙄 I would have loved to record songs written by Holland - Dozier - Holland!

Lamont Dozier..words can't describe the genius of the man! He wrote Invisible for Alison Moyet and co wrote 'You've got it' with Mick Hucknall, those two songs alone put you in the Hall of Fame. Lamont Dozier...LEGEND of songwriting.

He's gone and many Motown greats are gone, but it is still shocking that the oldest guy - Gordy, is still alive!
