I can tell you from the bottom of my soul, IT IS PURE HELL! My son was murdered protecting a pregnant young woman, who was the target, that he didn't even know.
@@ljtilmonI know this is late. I just looked at this video and saw your post. I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my granddaughter at the age of 31/2 years old to multiple illnesses. As for son, he is a hero and definitely has a place in heaven. I know it was unfair but Jesus says that if you give up your life for Him, that you will have a place with Him. Again, your son is a hero and is in heaven.
@@alexandradillard2077 Thank you for your kind words, Alexandra. My son was a born-again Christian who would give a person the shirt of his back if the person needed it. It was never too early, too late, or too inconvenient for him to pray with and for anyone who needed prayer. Our neighbors missed him because when I would send him to the store for me, he always would go to the houses of those who were sick, disabled, or shut in for any reason and offer to shop for them if they needed anything. The police told me that the boys who killed him were predators who were victimizing people from the time they were 12 years old. These boys are in prison where their family members can visit them. I never had a chance to tell my son goodbye.
Thank you 🙏🏾. This time your son gave more than the shirt off his back. He literally gave up his life whether it was intentional or not. He did try to save a life 😇. I can’t tell you how to feel. All I can say is that even though my daughter cried when she lost our little angel in 2011, she finally really last year. May God continue to walk with you and give you comfort. If it helps you can find joy in the fact that you raised a fine unselfish young man. It’s obvious that you taught him courage and love. He truly lived in Christ and that is not easy.
This was so raw, just a month after the incident, I have never seen this before, her son looked just like his mom and dad. She is now with her baby. Thanks for posting this.
Grief is such a human, distinct process. One of my closest friends died last fall and honestly, it still does not feel real. I haven't cried. I still don't know what I feel or how to deal with it. I'm not sure when I will. So I don't judge anyone for how they respond to tragedy.
The people judging have probably never lost a child. We don't all handle grief the same. Mary is old an school entertainer from a totally different generation. They've been trained to always put up a good front on/in public platforms. RIP Mary❤️
SOOOOO HONNEST!, instead of saying what people expected her to say, Mary was courageous enough to be transparent and honest. Like Sally Jessie said Mary Wilson was so beautiful inside and out
Wow , had no idea. She herself was very lucky to have survived. A beautiful woman true to her nature of quick to smile and always pleasant personality who experienced so much and gave so much to our culture and bringing America together. I like her ideas. I think she always had a very flexible resilient perspective, ie she was always calm but very observant and rational but also far stronger than her pretty face and subdued personality would lead one to believe.
Yes, sorry. The best looking Supreme. Real good looking. Mary's gorgeous on Sally. We could say Mary had SUPREME looks. Get the punchline? That was cute how that gentleman had given her a birthday gift and old Supremes album Mary said she would sign after the show.

You can see/hear Sally trying to understand, but she is bemused by Mary. I will admit, I switched off half way through. So maybe I missed some context.
Mary Wilson should have gone into politics.. like on a national level. She was absolutely the type of person the world needs in national political leadership..
What people call faith is often mastering self delusion. She is correct, so many of us “Blacks” have been taught toxic positivity. I don’t see it as a strength, but to each his own. 😢
She also left the group in early 70s and got married to or at least to my knowledge she was with Phil Spector a white man who was a producer while racism was still rife let alone loosing a teenage son
Mary kind of made herself look bad in this interview, I'm sorry to say. I'm a fan, but I have to tell it like it is when I see it. She seemed a little irritated, obnoxious, vain and narcissistic here. Weird characteristics for someone who had just lost their son in a car accident.
She is a diva along with many other show business divas. Even though she was grieving, she is a grieving DIVA! She was honest about it! She admitted that she was PISSED because there were no photos of her at the funeral. Narcissism, vanity, and diva behavior go with show business! It is who they are! I respect her honesty!
@@dampergoldenrod4156 I agree that some of the things that she said seemed fairly strange. She is a diva.............she is also a grieving diva and not that good of an actress to PLAY a grieving mother, When someone is grieving, I don't think that it is fair to judge............anything is to be expected! It is entirely possible that she was sedated as well. We don't know. By the way, I was in the audience for that show...............I was 10 feet away from where Mary was sitting during the taping.
I was thinking the same exact things, and wondered if anyone else saw it. I just couldn't put my finger on it. You can also see it in some of the other interviews.
No photos, really if it were Diana, other prominent figures, it's like being treated as if you don't count. Really wondering why? Were Diana, Barry there? I don't see much coverage on the accident. During Florence's burial pictures of Diana. Really? There is so much being silently spoken here. Humanity has lost the true essence of life. Stardom, Popularity, Glamour, have become the validation of humanities life. I didn't know Beverly Todd had lost a son. Prayers are with these ladies.
How come Dianna Ross changed the name of supremes to the Dianna Ross and the supremes and would not back down to the point that it was nearly cancelled just by that alone let alone bringing in to back up singers who were not even born when they were a group and obviously Dianna had all the power to have done a reunion with the supremes whenever she wanted and she drew it out knowing that the other 2 members needed the money so when Dianna eventually picked the phone up she thought that they would be so desperate for money that she could do everything her way but she didn’t count on the 2 original members were not going to accept Dianna’s name being in the front of the group name and the difference in pay like 2 million dollars to Mary and 20 million to Dianna and that shows you that Mary was not envious of Dianna’s money and she was not going to let original group name be changed for Dianna’s ego and if anyone was jealous it was Dianna of Mary and how natural looking she was
@Damper Goldenrod I agree, not only that, Mary said she was pissed that the paparazzi didn't take her picture at the funeral. Sally Jessy Raphael thought she could relate to Marry, because she lost a child, as well. But, when Mary said in the interview that she wasn't sad, but pissed that the paparazzi didn't take her picture at the funeral, watch Sally's body language as she leans away from Mary. It was a very cold and pretentious response for such a serious situation. I like Mary, but it's evident that she loves attention and craved fame as a solo artist, at the cost of friends and family. A beautiful looking woman, but very sad and delusional.
Now you and your son are together. RIP dear one. We are gonna miss your beauty, grace and talent.
Mary Wilson is one of the strongest people I have ever seen. What a fantastic person the world lost. RIP Mary!!!
