Mary was such an entertaining interview partner, very articulate, witty, cheerful and unpretentious. With her bubbly personality, she brought to life every little story she told. She was a treasure trove of memories, and it's so sad to realise that with her untimely death, they are gone forever. Miss you Mary, you truely were one of a kind!
She had a nice mansion in Los Vegas with a built in swimming pool. I did a Google search and saw pictures. So she must have been pretty rich. I'd still like to know how she died. Too bad her family didn't reveal how.
I've seen at least 20-interviews of Mary Wilson here on RUclips. I think what kept her going and why she remained down-to-earth is her vivacious personality and her sense-of-humor. Always laughing, full of life, and I believe she had a heart of gold. With that said; it surprises me that she left this world so soon as she should have lived to be in her nineties....that I could picture. Such a wonderful lady and she will always remain "Supreme" in my memories of her.

I sat next to her at BB KINGS in the 90s.She was so nice We were all watching Ronnie Spector perform.And we waited to go backstage to see her,but unfortunately she sweats alot after a concert so we all got tired if waiting. Then maybe about 2hrs waiting, Ronnie's agentcalled Mary only to go back for 5 min.

It is sad about how the turnout the group turned out but it allowed for better things to come. She'd inspired us with a combination of wit, beauty, and scores of energy. I think it’s fascinating to hear Mary”s side of what happened. I believe Berry Gordy was like most business owners if something was a threat to his empire he knew how to deal with it. But she is prominently featured in the Hitsville documentary that I have now watched at least fifty times. So, something positive must have taken place through the years. But, Mary never gave up.
