same .. narrow lips, small and hooded eyes, prominent nose and to top it all of ultrashort haircut .. what you could do is cut things with my chin and cheekbones, soooo .. just "looking healthily glowy" it is for me I guess :D
You always make such great points! Thanks for sharing your insight with us. You are able to articulate things that most other beauty youtubers are not able to!
This is great! I love wearing bold lipstick colors but I can never do eye makeup well. My eyes are round and downturned. They look sleepy all the time. Eye makeup looks too much on my eyes. Can you make a video about different eye shapes and makeup suits them?
I think Marilyn Monroe had naturally down turned eyes, but she used it to her advantage to make a sleepy, bedroom eyes look. Like a simple pinup eye, but lashes only on the outside corners and a straight or down turned wing if any wing at all. Perhaps give that a shot?
I think you have the eyes that the Korean puppy liner looks good on. Maybe you could check it out? It isn’t everyone’s style but I personally think it’s so nice on downturned eyes. I often wear it because though my eyes are a bit upturned in shape, they are hooded and the end of the hood is downturned ^^
Same during my 20s😂that was at the same time as makeup tutorials were gaining traction. But K-beauty was just around the corner and I loved the way subtle colors can still give me a unique look! I definitely learned my lessons, so yeah I still do bold looks but now according to my features.
When I was younger I also used to do bold eyes makeup, but eventually I realize that my eyes are too small for that, so now I do red lipstick instead, like Taylor Swift.
Thank you for this video. Wish I saw it earlier. Just a few days ago we had photoshooting in work and professional makeup stylist was there to make us more appealing. I told her I don't like myself in heavy makeup and she was surprised (probably thought I don't like myself or I'm not confident enough). I wasn't able to explain why I don't like bold makeup and why I think I look better in more natural/nude styling. I'm similar case as Renée Zellweger, so now I know why's that. She still did the makeup quite bold (both the eyes and lips), so I really didn't like how I looked. In the end I had to remove a bit of shadow around eyes and the lipstick myself and then it was quite ok. But I was feeling very frustrated and was quite grumpy with the makeup stylist, so in the end I felt horrible about myself altogether the rest of the day. All that just because of bad makeup choice...
Aw I'm sorry to hear that! As a fellow makeup artist it's really tough to watch other artists just throw on the same makeup on all faces without understanding the uniqueness of each face. Especially when you pay for their services and expect a pampering experience but end up feeling worse than they normally do, it's the worst!
LOL, I've always loved it! In high school I looked the Robert Palmer dancers in his videos, lol. I've toned it down for sure, but I like the glamour girl look.
I actually used to wear a CRAZY amount of makeup in my early 20s (full on top + bottom false lashes and all) until I realized... oh, I actually look worse lol.
yessss, i wore bold makeup elements here and there but I always refrained from commiting to full on glam but even if I didnt go full glam it always appeared extremely bold on me and almost like a costume. Now that im older im even more uncomfy with the glam looks on me. I love them but I dont feel like me when I do them for me. I do have big cheeks and while I dont love it I can recognize that embracing them the way that Renee does suits me so much more than trying to slim them down
As someone with monolids, I love how I look with super bold eyes.. but I have a lot of “empty space” on my face like you said about Anya Taylor-Joy in the other video so it balances out that way. I tend to think of it more as applying makeup “around” rather than “on” my eyes (keeping distance from the lash line/waterline) and I do it with strokes that echo and emphasize their natural geometry. I have a rather sharply defined ledge to my lower lid which is a great place to put color. There’s also the factor of Winter coloring (dark + high contrast) which helps carry off heavy black and bright colored eye makeup
Thank you so much for these videos. You are answering questions I have had about myself and the looks I can and can't pull off all of my life! I wish I would have found you decades earlier. 💕🥰🌹
Hi Jenn, it's so refreshing to find a makeup artist that approaches faces with an individualistic approach, as a true artist would. So many others teach how to do the same makeup on everyone and I've often found it does not work on me. Your approach makes total sense.
Virginia hi! Thank you so much for the compliment :) I'm glad to hear you agree with my approach - it's something I've learned while I was in makeup school actually. We would pair up and practice on each other the look or technique that was taught, and I often found a lot of the looks jarring on me, not because the technique was bad but the looks themselves didn't work on my face and features! You make such a great point that so many people teach how to do the same makeup, and it's because we were taught in school that way too. I hope you are doing better - I'm sorry again for your loss.
I have features that allow me to pull of both a bold lip, and dark eye makeup, but I don't usually wear them together. That being said, I haven't found a way to make contour look good on me. I've tried many ways of contouring, and it always makes my features look too strong, I actually put blush lower down on my cheeks than most people to make my face look rounder
Try the Korean/Japanese style of just a touch of blush, placed right underneath the middle of the eyes! You sound like you could pull it off, and it shortens and softens the face if done properly. That’s the only way I wear mine because I am not fond of contour and my face is already narrow :)
I have a medium mouth, and my lips are also proportioned (not thick, not thin) but it took me years to understand that the natural tone of my lips is a pinkish, almost brown color and I also have a mole on my bottom lip, crossing my lip and skin of the face. It seems like I have a bigger mouth when in reality I don't. But I recently heard a former model say that the red mouth makes the mouth look smaller (I was surprised) but it's true! I painted myself fuchsia and vibrant red for the first time in my life and my mouth looks better!! surprising Jen, how there are always exceptions!!
Thanks for this video. Always thought that we had to have everything all done up for "full makeup" otherwise the look was not complete. But I've always had a hard time doing my eye make-up due to my hooded eyes (and partially because I was lazy and it took too much effort). This video makes everything so much clearer and each individual is different in what features make up should enhance. I think I fall in the Renee Zellweger category which makes alot of sense to me now!!! What an ah-ha moment! Thanks again!
The crease disappears on Asian eyes even with those with double eyelids but as Douyin makeup has shown, actually a heavier smokey eye if done right, can enlarge the eyes. I think we are so used to seeing a heavy unblended hand for the smokey look that we instantly think it makes us Asian eyes look smaller. But follow any douyin smokey look and you can see eyeshadow, even dark eyeshadow can widen the overall eye size. It's gives the illusion of the eye encompassing a larger surface area. Now if you don't blend it and have a transition, it can all look squashed together rather than adding depth. Adding the illusion of depth can make Asian eyes look deeper which is actually what gives Caucasian eyes the illusion of appearing bigger. Even Caucasians with hooded eyes, appear to have bigger eyes because of how deep the eye socket appears. Which is definitely what darker eye makeup looks but most Asians , don't go for heavy eye makeup because it's very easy to look worse if you don't know how to apply. I'm no expert on blending either but I've seen what makeup artists that specializes in Asian eyes can do with the most taboo dark eyeshadows. It really is a skill.
Aww you are very sweet 😊 Thank you! Yes - it's a choice and a preference at the end of the day for sure. I'm trying a different style of video this week where I'll actually be comparing how I used to wear my makeup vs my routine now, so definitely check it out (it comes out on Friday)!
I love 60's makeup and wear big, dark eye makeup on a daily basis and while it obviously doesn't look natural it never looks like it's too much either! My face is quite soft and a bit childlike but I have downturned eyes that are on the bigger side and my nose is not the smalest even tho it's not big per say, so focusing on the eyes brings my face together nicely. In contrast I hate wearing lipstick because it brings attention to my cheeks
Can someone explain why i look good with bold eyes but not lips? I'm asian, my eye shape is round but my eyelid is almost the same as these pics. But bold lips overwhelmed me. Soft smokey eyes and nude lips fits me well and it become my signature look. I still curious why 😅
There canbe soo many things;if you have short lower third, put on a bold lipstick can look missplaced on your face, long philtrum, very big lips, etc. If you wanna to know more, you could watch Jenny's video on red lips or dear peachie (a channel on RUclips) on propotions.
Hi Annett - thank you for the comment!! Here is the link to part 1 ☺️ Here's WHY you think RED LIPS look bad on you. ruclips.net/video/RnFjhICAnqo/видео.html
Would love to see a video on lipstick and whether you should wear bold lipstick or not... I've been wearing more subtle eye makeup and more interesting lipstick, but still don't think I can pull off lipstick that creates a lot of contrast even if the colour is in my palette.
I love this video content, but I’m wondering if you could do another one that focuses on tips for larger eyes or larger lips. I have large eyes that show a lot of my white area below my iris. So I struggle with different eye makeup looks as well for those reasons. I have thinner lips, but I think gals with large lips might also benefit from a video about that. So a video for us gals that have these features would be awesome! Thank you!
Hi! I have a video called "You need MORE makeup" (actually a series, there's 2 parts) which I think you'll find helpful for your large eyes. I'll add large lips to my list of topics :) Thanks for the comment ❤
I think Sophia Loren is a good example of the way to wear bold eye makeup when you have that strongly upturned lower lid. She had a naturally dramatic face and very rounded lower lids but really owned that dramatic look. She emphasized the vertical upper lid line with liner and lashes drawn out pretty far to elongate her eyes; and when she was doing her signature strong eye look, she had the lower liner overdrawn to de-emphasize the round upturn of the lower lid. Even when she wore a more natural makeup style, she followed those proportions. I actually have the same shape of eye and don't really typically wear a lot of makeup but when I want to do something a little dressed up, I keep her techniques in mind.
Thank you for sharing a great example! I think that even though Sophia Loren’s eye are upturned her eyes are so big and the angle of the outer corner more rounded as opposed to straight like Taylor Swift or Dita Vonteese so eye makeup is more forgiving. But I agree that Sophia Loren’s makeup style is great for opening up the outer corners more!
If I do heavy eye makeup, or with dark colours, I look older and more harsh, even though I don't have the features mentioned in this video at all. I like to put focus on my eyes, but more so with highlights - and a fun colour (mostly orange) - and on my cheeks (I use blush on my nose and cheeks and add fake freckles) and I think this makes me look more fresh and younger. I feel like dark eye makeup is just too heavy for my face, I wish I could pull it off haha but lesson learnt
My mom and I both have narrow lips and small lid space and I agree that lashes and brows in addition to blush and skin texture, do a lot for helping us look more polished. I’m a dark autumn and love orange blush! I try to do neat eyeliner and I contour under the beginning part of my brow to add more depth to my lid space and highlight my inner corner and lower lash line to keep my eyes open and bright. I use wispy light false lashes and brown mascara on my bottom lashes as I still do have round eyes and enough white space to balance color. Its taken a while for me to find what works but this is an interesting way to confirm what I’ve always felt to be true. Hopefully I can guide my mom into makeup she likes because she still isn’t sure what works for her and wonders how I figured it out. She’s got a longer face than me but focusing on glowing skin and framed features I think is a good start :)

For some reason whenever I drew up for events my friends always comment that I’m going for natural makeup look (even though I tried to put on as much makeup my face can handle). Now I know it’s because i unconsciously know that excessive eye makeup won’t look good on my hooded eyes😂 thank you for another informative video❤❤❤
Yeah, I prefer a neutral/softly smokey eye (no harsh lines or graphic liner) a nudish lip(gloss or tinted balm preferred) & a soft or sheer but colorful cheek. Skin can't be too matte or too shiny (accentuates texture) Eyes/cheeks are definitely the focus 👁 Overly bright or dark lip color looks wrong on me since my mouth is proportionally small (narrow) & my lips have a strong shape/pronounced cupid's bow. ( I like the shape just wish it was 15% larger lol) No red lippie for me 💋
I posted a short on how to wear a red lip in a more natural way - you might find it helpful! Check it out: ruclips.net/user/shortsABnbkOWhh1A?feature=share
I'm curious what you think of people with very big eyelids plus lots of space between the eye and eyebrow. Whenever I've tried to follow bold make-up looks, of different kinds, the colours and details that looked lovely and balanced on the moderate eyelid became way too big and too much on mine. Everything shows too much basically, so I end up only wearing sheer or natural-ish colours.
Hmm interesting point! In my experience the more eyelid room the better the makeup shows and the more ability you have to wear bolder styles because of that, but I can also see how it might appear overwhelming depending on your preference!
i love your videos in general, they are very informative and entertaining and i think you choose your examples very well. one thing i dont really like and distracts me and annoys me however, is that sound effect you use every other second when something pops on the screen. please dont use it that much, it seriously takes away from the immersion and you voice. you have used it more than 30 times in the first three minutes alone in this video. i will continue to watch your videos as i think you give really useful information, i hope you keep on improving!
Thank you for the feedback! Got similar feedback on this and have been toning down the sound effects with my more recent vids, so I hope you come back ❤️
I thought I couldn't wear bold makeup in general, but now that i think about it maybe it's just the eyes that can't handle it, because even though they're fairly big, they're also pretty hooded and you don't see much more than eyeliner when my eyes are open. I once had my makeup done by a professional for my friend's wedding, and it make me look 20 years older and kind of like a prostitute somehow. I ended up having to do my own makeup as the makeup artist clearly didn't know how to adapt the makeup to the person. I think it's also your colouring - my skin is very white, my hair is red, and my eyelashes and eyebrows are white-blonde. Even black mascara or anything on the eyebrows darker than the lightest dusting of Anastasia Dip Brow in Caramel makes me look like I'm on the stage.
My friend who got her makeup done by a MUA for a wedding also said the same thing about the finished look making her look like a prostitute 😅 I noticed at makeup school, they teach you a "formula" that supposedly works on everyone, but I remember when we were practicing on each other I always ended up looking quite jarring!
I can't wear bold eyes or lips either because I've got dark circles plus eye bags, so anything smoky just accentuates that. I keep my eyeshadow pretty light, but wear brown or gray on my lower waterline only. So my eyeshadow is kept on top, and the "dark" is kept minimal. My lip shape is very distinct too, and bright, bold colors are too overpowering. Plus my season is Light Summer, so bold, or dark colors aren't that flattering. However, sometimes on occasion, I still wear it when I'm feeling like my inner child wants to play.
Do you have any eye makeup tips for an olive with tiny almond eyes, but tons of eyelid real estate? I have a large jaw and cheekbones so i try to draw more attention to my eyes but i usually make them look smaller, even if i just do winged eyeliner. So far, giant glasses are all i can do to balance my face 😅
Hi! It really depends on the actual shape of your eyes but generally I find that if you have eyes are vertically narrow, using bold eyeliners can actually make your eyes look smaller! Since you have a lot of eyelid real estate I would take advantage of that and spread a softer colour widely, and also use eyeshadow on the bottom to vertically widen your eyes. Using a length-focused mascara (rather than volume-focused) should also help with adding vertical width. Hope that helps! :)
I think these types of faces can look so elegant and beautiful with accentuating the skin and cheeks as the focal point of the makeup! Personally I think Renee's beauty is so unique and I love it ❤
Zellweger has ethnic connections to the Finnish Sami people who do often have monolids. There are quite a few white people in the North and East of Europe who have monolids - ethnicity after all is not a cookie cutter, people have been mixing for centuries, even more so in Europe. I don’t have monolids, but I have deep set eyes. I think you are very on point in your analysis. When wearing dark eye makeup or fake lashes, I noticed that I look like a panda. Now, I go for the cat flick only at the outermost corner - it makes for an elegant look and opens up the eye but it doesn’t overwhelm my features.
Hi Jenn! I just found your channel yesterday and have been enjoying many of your videos so I subscribed! Your furry one… Is it a cat, or a Pomeranian? I wanted to see it so much!! 😆❤️ ETA: (I feel like it’s a Pomeranian!! ❤)
Hi! Thank you for subscribing! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying my content ❤️ We actually have 2 poms haha 😆 Their names are Monkey and Kong! Maybe one day I will introduce them in one of my videos ❤️
I think i have kind of upturned eyes but they're not small. I dont really know what my eye shape is tbh. But if they're upturned yet not small, does the rule of leaving the waterline minimal still apply?
I think it really depends on the size of your irises as well - how much of the whites in the eyes is visible is a huge factor in determining whether you should fill in your waterline!
I look good in cool saturated colors. I've never been too heavy on my eyes because I suck in it, but bold cool based red lipstick never looked over the on me. I think I could pull off both. 😂 Putting on lipstick is just much easier. You need some skills on the eyes.
me pausing and rewatching about 12 times to see the more "gradual" curve of the other eyes and not being able to see it. It actually seems more dramatic to me??? I think my biggest problem is that I can't watch videos like this and figure out where I fit in
Your video is so full of useful information and expertise, I really appreicate your effort and work! But these constant sound effects just won't let me watch it, they are too annoying, sorry :((
Thank you Asia! I agree and have been getting similar feedback, so with my more recent videos I've gotten rid of 90% of sound effects haha. Hope you come back for more vids!
Renée Zellwegger has the typical Germanic face, a type that doesn't need heavy makeup; in fact, these types should use the most natural face in contrast to the rosy cheeks (imitates peasant women). Those who have defined features, like me, can and should use a more marked make-up in the right measure and less blush, in this case.
I also feel that whether you are a soft/muted or bright/clear season influences how bold you can wear makeup. Soft seasons look "off" in bold makeup.
I agree! I touch on it briefly in the first video I made about makeup focal point so you should check that vid out 🥰❤️

This is great! I love wearing bold lipstick colors but I can never do eye makeup well. My eyes are round and downturned. They look sleepy all the time. Eye makeup looks too much on my eyes. Can you make a video about different eye shapes and makeup suits them?
Hi! Thanks for the suggestion - I will add it to my topics list! 🥰❤️
Yes - I still wear bold looks from time to time but it has to be in moderation!
I do have big cheeks and while I dont love it I can recognize that embracing them the way that Renee does suits me so much more than trying to slim them down
Yes - embrace all your features!! They're what make you who you are :)
That's a fair point! :)
Thank you so much for these videos. You are answering questions I have had about myself and the looks I can and can't pull off all of my life! I wish I would have found you decades earlier. 💕🥰🌹
Thank you so much! I’m glad you found the video helpful 🥰❤️
Binging your videos! So informative! My whole life I've just been fumbling through makeup - no longer!
Thank you!❤ ❤ ❤
Hi Jenn, it's so refreshing to find a makeup artist that approaches faces with an individualistic approach, as a true artist would.
@@stylerefinement Thank you. I wish the same for you.
You must have very strong / defined features! Contour is not always necessary if you already have a lot of definition :)
Try the Korean/Japanese style of just a touch of blush, placed right underneath the middle of the eyes! You sound like you could pull it off, and it shortens and softens the face if done properly. That’s the only way I wear mine because I am not fond of contour and my face is already narrow :)
@@shirin9452 oh yeah trust me I go HEAVY on the blush lol
This is me. I've never managed contour that doesn't make me look like Cruella Deville.
I think anyone can pull off a dramatic makeup look. You just find different ways to do it.
Thanks for another good vid with images that help us understand the what and why of challenges with makeup!
You are very welcome!
I agree! Exceptions are everywhere!
You are so welcome Carla! I'm glad you found the video helpful :D
Though I agree you look great with less eye makeup. You were cute with it too. Like you said, it's a choice 😊
Aww you are very sweet 😊 Thank you! Yes - it's a choice and a preference at the end of the day for sure. I'm trying a different style of video this week where I'll actually be comparing how I used to wear my makeup vs my routine now, so definitely check it out (it comes out on Friday)!
@@stylerefinement oh perfect!! I will for sure 🥰
I love the 60s style makeup ❤️❤️❤️ unfortunately it looks really awful on me 🤣
I love your videos, they are very useful ♡ thank you for sharing your knowledge
Thank YOU for watching! ❤️ I’m so glad you find my content useful and I hope you continue to!!
None of my facial fractures are here so I guess I just prefer the natural look for the reason you mentioned too.
It absolutely comes down to your preference at the end of the day, even if you don't have these features specifically!
Rene in red lip reminds me classical pin-up american style)
I watched this and realized why I really love wearing bold makeup 💋
Lucky 🍀
Jen, thank you so much for your videos, I'm binge-watching because they're amazing!!!
However, I can't seem to find part 1???
Hi Annett - thank you for the comment!! Here is the link to part 1 ☺️
Here's WHY you think RED LIPS look bad on you.
ruclips.net/video/RnFjhICAnqo/видео.html
Would love to see a video on lipstick and whether you should wear bold lipstick or not... I've been wearing more subtle eye makeup and more interesting lipstick, but still don't think I can pull off lipstick that creates a lot of contrast even if the colour is in my palette.
I have one already! 😆
Here's WHY you think RED LIPS look bad on you.
ruclips.net/video/RnFjhICAnqo/видео.html
That why I never loved using dark color on my water line
Love this analysis!!! I was definitely on that 2010 experimental phase of makeup😅but I've learned and will occasionally use a black 💄
Haha yes - trial and error is the best way to learn!
@@stylerefinement I love how you give such specific examples. I think it's really clarifying!
You are really talented❤
Thank you for the sweet compliment!! ❤️🥰
i just found your channel and i must say your analyses are so incredibly informative. thank you! do you do personal consults?
Thank you so much! I will be opening up virtual consultations in a few weeks so please keep an eye out for the announcement! :)
Thanks for sharing your experience! It's a journey figuring out what works for our own features, but it's a fun one 😊
Man I wish I could send a pic in and you can tell me what I can't do and what I can, bc I feel like I can't do much lol. This is very helpful.
I’m glad you found the video helpful! I do accept virtual consultations via my website where you can submit photos and I provide you with my recommendations 🥰❤️ also offering a 50% off right now with a promo code so check out the details in my community tab if you’re interested!!
You're welcome - glad it helped! ❤
WOW... I have cat-like, upward-sloping eyes and always wondered why smokey eyes look so bad on me!! Great tips!!
I'm glad you found the video helpful! ❤️
Can you do a video on makeup and deep set eyes with dark circles?
I'll add it to my topics list and see what I can come up with!
@@stylerefinement that would be FABulous
Check it out:

Very nice content. I like quick videos that go to the point. ❤️ Subscribed!
Thank you for the sub! Glad you liked the video 🥰❤️
Got similar feedback on this and have been toning down the sound effects with my more recent vids, so I hope you come back ❤️
My eyes are like ditas so I should avoid dark waterline but my irises are too small and light waterline looks strange too…
I don't think a light waterline look is a must for your eyes - it's just one of the options :)
You’re great at this❤
Aww thank you so much ❤❤❤
I thought I couldn't wear bold makeup in general, but now that i think about it maybe it's just the eyes that can't handle it, because even though they're fairly big, they're also pretty hooded and you don't see much more than eyeliner when my eyes are open.
You should try using an orange concealer for your dark circles!!
@@stylerefinement I've tried everything..it's genetic, so I've had them since birth 😄😆
@@stylerefinement thank you 🤗 I can't wait to try this out!
I was always told that you really shouldn’t see the makeup. You should see how the makeup enhances the face.
I absolutely agree with that - and with some features you can only sees the makeup as the makeup gets bolder!
I love makeup but I look much older with more…also I just don’t like bold eyes or lips on me.🥴
I'm the same way! I just stick to bold styles only for formal occasions now :P
Thank YOU!!!😻
You are so welcome!❤️
I feel bold makeup make me look juvenile, I suspect my eyes look bigger in comparison to my face. Natural makeup is always the best.
OMG- YES!!!! I AM THAT DEMON IN THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO!!! HELP ME!
Darn it, I've got one of them Renée faces! Still not sure what makeup to choose
I think these types of faces can look so elegant and beautiful with accentuating the skin and cheeks as the focal point of the makeup! Personally I think Renee's beauty is so unique and I love it ❤
@@stylerefinement The cheeks are just so huge and long for me though 😂 But I totally agree on the dewy and fresh part
Love your channel.
Thank you so much! ❤️
your videos are very original!
Thank you so much - I'm glad you think so! :)
I do the same with my own eye makeup - cat flick and no falsies for me!
I want to look like myself. Dramatic makeup makes people look like someone else.
Fair point!
Hi Jenn! I just found your channel yesterday and have been enjoying many of your videos so I subscribed!

We actually have 2 poms haha 😆 Their names are Monkey and Kong! Maybe one day I will introduce them in one of my videos ❤️
So interesting...i prefer stro h lips but think my eyes need definition
You could be the type that can pull off the bold eyes + bold lips combo! :D
This is me! I have a big jaw so the eye is drawn down. And I have very hooded lids
Pairing a more natural styles of makeup with a hairstyle that helps with bringing the attention up to your face would work great for you then! ❤️
@@stylerefinement thank you ✨ I have bangs now so I think that evens out my face a little.
Really wonder why I never look good in any makeup, better stay natural
I think i have kind of upturned eyes but they're not small. I dont really know what my eye shape is tbh. But if they're upturned yet not small, does the rule of leaving the waterline minimal still apply?
I think it really depends on the size of your irises as well - how much of the whites in the eyes is visible is a huge factor in determining whether you should fill in your waterline!
Brilliant!❤
Thank you! Glad you found it informative :)
i have upturned eyes and i am a soft autumn and i feel like i can’t even wear mascara. it’s just too much on me
It could also be the shape / size of your crease! I find that people that have narrow crease lines their eyes tend to look really heavy with mascara
I look good in cool saturated colors. I've never been too heavy on my eyes because I suck in it, but bold cool based red lipstick never looked over the on me. I think I could pull off both. 😂 Putting on lipstick is just much easier. You need some skills on the eyes.
astute observations
Thank you so much! ❤️
You're amazing
❤ ❤ ❤
I like doing bold all over my face. Including a bold cheak color that goes up to my temples. I end up looking like a fairy.
You must have opposite features to what I've described in the video! :D
Big eyes like indian or arabian women really look good on heavy makeup
Unlike chinese/korean eyes
Agreed!
That’s me!
Me too!
me pausing and rewatching about 12 times to see the more "gradual" curve of the other eyes and not being able to see it. It actually seems more dramatic to me??? I think my biggest problem is that I can't watch videos like this and figure out where I fit in
Mhm, I don’t really think the ice skater‘s eyes look smaller with the heavy eye make up… I think they actually look bigger
❤
I have strong features…I find that when I wear softer makeup my features pop instead of bolder makeup.
It's really depends by the person! It's also about personal preference as well :)
Also another reason someone might not like bold eye makeup is because they are lazy 😂 and this someone is me lol
Appreciate the tips, but the sound effects got super repetitive and distracting.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm working on toning things down with future vids :)
I don't like wearing bold makeup because I'm 63 and I think it will look too bold for someone my age. I don't want to look like a courtesan.
I do.😅😅
Your video is so full of useful information and expertise, I really appreicate your effort and work! But these constant sound effects just won't let me watch it, they are too annoying, sorry :((
Thank you Asia! I agree and have been getting similar feedback, so with my more recent videos I've gotten rid of 90% of sound effects haha. Hope you come back for more vids!
Just like an auto some need lots of fresh paint other need none.
Agreed!
