Keep that exhaust break on is exactly what I hear because without it on it shuts off half of the turbo causing soot to build up . I learned this and my Jake break stays on all the time !
0:38 of course the stealership has found a way to not warranty a broken part. Your truck has less than 100K miles and the actuator has already quit 😢 Seems to be a common problem on this engine.
We use our hybrid actuator and compressed air to use exhaust braking. Our kits are available with or without air if you already have an onboard air compressor.
Any time you remove the factory turbo you loose the exhaust brake. However, our new Turbonator VGT with the Hybrid actuator will allow for exhaust braking.
I have a px6 in my 2008 Peterbilt 335 and I can’t go over 15 mph I have oil in my inner cooler I had a guy come scan it he told me my complete turbo was bad, I can’t find a replacement any suggestions
Burns out the Actuator OR STRIPS THE PLASTIC Gearing when carbon builds binding the vanes?? 2013 Mega Cab Longhorn 3500 dually, when it rolled the brake was on 99.9% of the time. Mine died at 105K The Jasper aftermarket replacement started giving trouble at 145K, (Not warranted after a year) imagine that.
Here is a link to our website. Just be sure that you select the Turbonator VGT in the drop down box. www.dieselpowersource.com/3rd-gen-turbo-swap-kit-for-67-cummins-for-dodge-4th-gen-2nd-gen-swap-kit
I have a 2011 dodge 2500 and am trying to figure out my option like what stage turbo. Do I need the turbine /exhaust housing kit . I have a engine break and I would like to keep it can u help me out

I see you’re in day break! I’m lookin for a new turbo I’d love to bring my truck in and see what you think
You're right we filmed that in Day Break. Bring your truck in and we'll help you!
I’ve heard this happens because people don’t run their exhaust brake

It’s a very common issue with this engine.
Mine just went out. Diesel mechanic suggested getting the delete kit and getting a 63.5 turbo
Keep your exhaust brake on all of the time to avoid this. Also Ram extended the actuator warranty.
Warranty, fixed mine
I need one of these for my bmw so bad!!
Top notch
I have a 2013 3500 Dodge Ram. How the exhaust brake is going to function ?????

Do u guys know if a turbo of a 2500 2024 ram diesel fits on 2500 2018????
what happens to the exhaust brake ??? If you remove the stock turbo, how the exhaust brake is going to work?

Is it only for use with deleted egr
Is this turbo hood for towing heavy loads ??? You don’t specify much
It is good for towing. However if you tow heavy often we would recommend a compound turbo set-up.
Burns out the Actuator

Nice
Will I lose my exhaust brake with this set up?
If you get the electronic or hybrid version you will still have the ability to exhaust brake.
Will the turbinator work like stock drop in? Will it have stock style exhaust break?
It fits your stock intake, intercooler tube, exhaust and oil lines, but it has our own stand-alone controller for exhaust braking.
@@DieselPowerSource there wont be a need for the turbo actuator with your kit?

We would love to help you out! Can you send us your email?
@@DieselPowerSource I would recommend our Stage 4 3Gen Swap Kit if you are mostly stock and deleted
Leave the turbo brake on
Do you lose your exhaust brake going with VGT turbo?
Not if you go with our hybrid version of the VGT! Go check out one of our newer videos for more information about the Hybrid VGT.

Do these VGTs have an internal wastegate like the powerstrokes do?
Can I put this on a stock 6.7 or do I need to delete?
It will only work if the 6.7 has been previously deleted.
do i need to upgrade the vgt to get the exhaust break or does it come with it on the mechanical vgt
For the exhaust brake, you will need the Electronic VGT upgrade. The Mechanical version cannot exhaust brake.
Does my truck need tuning after installation
