I actually used a Peltier cooler on a Pi 3b back in the day. It worked ok I guess, but I remember going back to air after awhile. Could've been the cheap Peltier cooler plate I purchased from overseas though. The small ones just didn't have the performance of the larger plates.

Having a cooler is not only beneficial to the performance, but also the battery life. When phone batteries get hot, they die quicker. And the more they die, the worse the battery gets over the years. Having a cooler will keep your battery fresh for years to come. That's well worth it imo, even if other phone controllers are technically better

my friend bought this one for me (or so he said .. he presented it to me .. and then kept using it himself) - but i find it a bit heavy to be honest. The peltier pad is useless because it needs a separate powersource .. the controls are good, but not as good as my older Betop G3.
the main reason for the X3 on the Gamesir would be that they managed to put the usb-c connector to the correct side.

  • @pixelman2626

Bought it for $74 and it's awesome. My phone no longer heats up playing Genshin for hours. The mapping is the best compared to other 3rd party and I prefer microswitch for R2 and L2 button (because I only play RPG games and not FPS or racing). But my unit is not a prefect one, the analog stick on the right is drifting sometime. Not always but it has its moment. I want to tear it down so I can blow some air on the analog part but there is still no teardown video for X3 so I'm not gonna take a risk to open up this controller
