    My main carry option is a p07, I have always wrestled with having the cajun work done to it. A compensator to the threaded portion has made it a pleaseant experience.

    The PX4 is awesome, the Langdon tactical version. No other softer or flatter shooting pistol unless you go to a 22.
    The trigger is super nice, almost too light. I like the 92 models by Beretta as well.
    The holster options were not as abundant as I would like, for any Beretta models. 92, PX4, or the APX.
    I highly recommend the Langdon Tactical PX4. I just wish the front sight was a bright neon green.

    These two are natural comparisons! I've never had a P07, though it has always been a temptation. I have had two PX4s though.... it's not my favorite or most accurate kind of handgun, but I like it. And I love the sort of "retro futuristic" look.

      Langdon Tactical offers an optimized trigger bar that should shorten your reset to insane levels. If you made those other changes you could probably order the part from Langdon and install to save some $. There are videos on their site about the process. Thanks so much for watching!!!

    I own both as well, so it's cool to find someone else with refined and elegant taste. I didn't really have a problem changing out the backstrap on the P-07, it was switching it to safety from decocker, for me, that got crazy. All of the videos showing how "simple" the process is, were lies spread by agents of chaos. (IMHO) One other thought. I don't have a problem with the texture on my Px4, but it's a full sized so that could make a difference.

      @@TheArkansasGunGuyThanks for the love! if you ever do change the the decocking lever, you have to really struggle to get both sides apart, then move it's bar around to get it out. Same with getting the safety lever in, you gotta keep moving it's bar around to get it all the way across to right side safety lever. ARRGH!
      That being said, it's really a gentle, gentle shooter, no regrets.

    Both are amazing imo. Cajun Gunworks kits are solid. CZ Custom kits are amazing and MCarbo kits are solid... All three are worth a look imo...expecially if you are going to install yourself. I really like the rotating barrel, but like you said, I am not going to pay double the price for a full LTT kit. The trigger in a bag is very nice. My wish continues to be for Beretta to bring us a PX4 Storm v. 2.0. A refresh would go a long way.

      they JUST released "version 2" of the Compact Carry - but it's really the same gun but now with more standard features vs upgrades. They also introduced a new full-size with a more robust/heavier barrel that's supposed to shoot even flatter. Also they have destined a frame mounted compensator (attached to a light) - so lots of PX4 info just hitting this week. THANKS SO MUCH for watching!!

The risk of over penetration, round availability, round price, added recoil, extra wear on guns, and less capacity just make it a silly round to seek out in today’s gun and ammo market. 9mm does the job perfectly with good hollow points. No need for 40.

      @LeadSlinger_ 4 месяца назад +6

      @bigk4026 just cause you don't know anybody who owns a 40 s&w DOESN'T mean people don't. A ton of people like and own 40 s&w. As for your reasoning, none of what you said really means anything. The risk of over penetration isn't a problem, the price of 40 ammo is also barley any different from 9mm, recoil is slightly more but not so much where it really matters as long as you train with it, extra wear on guns also isn't a problem cause that's just a myth and isn't true on newer guns chambered in 40, and as for capacity if it can hold at least 10 rounds (which they do) it will be fine for the majority of gun owners who aren't trying to be some tacticool wannabe soldier who doesn't live in reality and think they are gonna end up in some crazy war zone in a big shootout which isn't going to happen.

    I haven't shot the px4 but I've always been intrigued by them. They are unique and cool looking and I always have a thing for guns that are just different. Wish I could get my hands on one some day. Really like the p07 I have shot those before and they do handle quite nicely. I ended up with a cz P01 metal frame instead back when I was looking between a p07 and the P01, as far as I can tell they both shoot very similar one is just a polymer frame. Actually in my mind the recoil isn't all that less compared to my other 9mm's, just different recoil impulse it's more straight back snap into the web of your hand, it's a more direct recoil impulse if that makes sense. I actually feel my HK's shoot softer even though there might be just a little more muzzle rise compared to the cz.

"Hey bad guy, see how cool my gun looks?". I have big hands and I want a DA/SA full size metal pistol, 9mm. Not very concerned about CCW issues, a full size can be concealed, just not as well.

      I bought a CZ 75D Compact PCR a few years back and lowered my DA trigger pull from 11.5 lbs down to 7.5 lbs. !!!!!! My SA trigger pull went from 4 lbs down to 2.5 lbs. All I did was disassemble the gun. I changed out the trigger spring, sear spring and the hammer spring and polished the internals. Cost me about 2 hrs of time and $30. Gun shoots amazingly smooth and nice light trigger pulls. Especially the DA trigger pull down to a very manageable carry pull. You don't need Cajun to do what I did. And I'm only very average when it comes to taking things apart and putting them back together.
