Sorrel has got to be one of my favorite drinks in the world, usually available in Jamaica around the Christmas season but of recent you can find it almost year round. It's very simple to make and here's how I make Jamaican sorrel.
Ingredient: This is a rough estimate of what I used, adjust to your taste 😋
    -2 Gallons Water
-3 lbs Sorrel (Best when Fresh)
    -4 lbs white sugar
    - 1/2 lb Ginger
    - 550 ml white Rum
    - 2 pinches Pimento
    -1 pinch Cloves
    -1/2 teaspoon Salt

    I love sorrell
I had to wash the last dried batch I used about 4xs. I learned how to make it from watching RUclips videos like this one. I use a couple of cinnamon sticks and pimento. Thanks for the video.

I love biting into big pieces of Ginger. I put big pieces in my rice & peas so I can randomly find them. 🤤

I get my sorrel from Amazon, the cut and sifted type. I weigh the amount I use, so I get the same quality every time.

Hi SOAI VLOGS…so I thought about you when I went to the Cleveland Jamaican Ice Crème store in Miramar today, I had an epiphany when I saw and sampled for the first time ever, Bun and Cheese ice crème, seems gimmicky , but who knew that was even possible, interesting flavor profile… Just dropping a plug, no affiliation! I think you can find their info on social media… Also, with Jamaica patties- there is Finger Lickin in Pembroke Pines, and Tasterite in Miramar, just giving some helpful hints as you peruse Jamaican hotspots in your food vlogs or journey… Best of luck!
