Lol the finest of sink waters!! Beautiful family you have! Congrats! We have a 3 and a half month old Doberman male puppy and we feed him Blu Buffalo large breed puppy food and either mix in some canned pumpkin or warmed up oatmeal for his digestion. Keep up the great work!

I love that u guys are out here bringing more publicity to the breed. They are an awesome breed to have and usually get a bad rap for being aggressive and not kid friendly. I found it to be quite opposite. Early socialization and training can make help with the stigmas behind the Brees. I have a 6 month old presa puppy "Boss" and he is big for his age too!

Sometimes people just repeat what they hear other people say without actually knowing. My two Presas love people and especially kids. They are super social and when people meet them they notice their friendliness .

My dog also loves eating my clippings from my cannabis plant whenever I’m defoliating, he eats 2 or 3 leaves and then drinks a whole lot of water, instinctively he knows he needs his dosage of cannabinoids. Nature is amazing!

He looks great! What can I start feeding my presa at 8 weeks??
I use for my dogs with great results in these last 10 years, “Taste of the Wild” grain free dog food. Interesting enough, I raised my dogs with their kibbles available 24/7, and the effect was not then over eating, it was the opposite, because it is always available, they eat small quantities and they take snacks. Is amazing to see. But this has to be done from day one so they don’t have that necessity to hog, beg for food or binge eat. That way they know how much they need to eat by instinct. Never my dogs had a weight problem, they’re lean and always at the perfect weight. Dogs do this by listening to their bodies when they’re full. again, for this to work, it has to be done from day one and always have it available for them, that way they don’t develop that “survival of the fittest” mentality of that makes any sense. Lol. Thank you guys, I love your channel. My pitbull passed away from cancer last year and I’m ready for a presa.

We got our Presa in March of this year at three months old. It is November twenty seventh today and he just turned a year last week.He is 121 lbs as of the beginning of this month. All muscle.... we've had him on raw protein and raw vegetables mixed with dog food diet from the time we got him. He Luvs it... Your dog Looks Great, wish I could put a pic up of him and his food. For some reason I can't. Our dog barks or whines when he wants to go out and then he bangs on the sliding glass door to get in 😂😎🤣...I noticed your dog knockin to go out...

Commander looks beautiful. Thanks on height update but you need a 24 inche level and a construction measuring tape. Line the tape with commander front leg straight up from paws to shoulder with the 24inche level seating on the shoulders bone. Where the 24 inche level meets the tape it should give us a realistic height. I wonder if his going to get as big as Bane the 165lb and 28 inches height presa who breeder sold presa to celebrity like Odell Beckham and many others RUclips it. My presa canario is close to 27 in height but only weight 120lb comparing to his father who is 150lb +

Wow awesome video, funny prank with the dog food , beautiful great looking pup , wonderful fun to watch loving family. A big thank you to that great family for in one video laid out an on the money only diet that keeps my pretty girl Keyta ( 4 year old Presse Canario German shepherds) from having clear the house gas and a heart breaking look on her face like she failed as a good dog me telling her I failed as a dad not getting her the right food . In 4 years I know all the employees at my local petsmart thank you to them for making it easy to return bag after after bad of half eaten dogg food to try yet another bag but the all know love my Keyta when she’s dropped off for bath and deshedding she’s greeted with love and treats and easy on dad to leave his baby cus I’m not leaving her with strangers but fellow dog owners who have helped get her the right diet. And we have achieved that goal same food and no gas for over a year plus more friends. Again thank you family you have add a great addition to her diet the Coconut is awesome that and your same no grain fish and coconut edition I m 99% sure I’ve hit the mark thanks to you. I would be 100% if Keyta could talk to me in human to get the last % but that’s ok I’m not the only person on the planet that wishes their dog could talk to them lol

Pedigree dog food has fed dogs forever.My female Presa is a healthy 165lbs 15 months old.She will attack thick balloons we blow up and jumps around attacking for hours.She gets plenty of exercise and now has major hops.

How much of a hard dog has he been so far? How affectionate and playful is he?
Commander has certainly been the "hardest" dog we've owned partly because we are paying so much attention to how we are raising him. Other dogs we have had we kinda just let them grow up so to speak. But we are not perfect owners by any means but our effort and focus has definitely been intentional.

@@VictoriaHatzson He is very affectionate when he is tired lol! We have been taking him on long walks. When he get's back he is all about cuddles with the fam. (for 10 mins at least lol). He is very playful. Loves playing chase, tug of war, we are still working on fetch.

I just wanted to give you a shout out. we watch your videos alot and you have good content. we have a male presa named Tahoe who is about to turn 9 months Jan. 15 and he is already 148 lbs. I wanted to do a channel like you have with commander but with work it's hard. we also have a 9 month old female who is just under 100lbs. we are here in Arizona just saying hey. from one presa guy to another. best breed on earth keep it up.. maybe I can get you pics and videos of my two monsters.

Hello I've been looking for a presa canario for while now. I recently graduated college and had dogs all my the dog breeds where german shepherds, rottweilers and doberman pinschers all where we'll socialized and trained and obedient. I was wondering if I would be ok with such a large powerful dog or would it be to much to handle for a dog owner like me?
Hello Victor!! You certainly have owned some incredible breeds. You could most definitely own a Presa Canario. Just know that it will be your greatest dog challenge yet. It will require more devotion than the other breeds. The size is one thing... the stubborn dominant personality is another. Be patient. Be fair and discipline and you will love your Presa!

Hi Zeeshan! Commander has been on this food since a pup. I also have a boxer who has been on a cheap kibble his whole life and he's 13yrs old. The ideal diet for k9's seems to be raw. I would say look into all options and determine whats best for you and your dog.

Hey man I’d recommend reading studies carried out over the last 3-4 years about grain free diets. Almost all studies showing a link to canine heart disease

When my mum changed the little dogs to grain free diet, the dogs vet said "i guess i lost a customer" (paraphrased).
Since then no more throwing up and much better health overall. But this study could be right off course, perfection doesn't exist.

My Presa ia on raw. Check out Texas Tripe. They have many different blends. Beef, Chicken, Rabbit, Duck ect.. with all the organ meat, tendons and bones all ground and mixed ready top eat. Goes for about $3/lb

Chicken feet are a great raw treat and not very expensive. My guy likes salmon skin filets also not expensive.
Great suggestions! We are very close to moving to a raw diet. We will certainly keep this in mind.
Some grain free kibble is linked to k 9 cardiac issues due to lack of TAURINE.. some do contain this .. chicken is a superior source of taurine...Rottweiler owner ,I feed high quality kibble mixed with chicken meat steamed sweet potatoes and cottage cheese or plain Greek yogurt....commander is gorgeous...I am humbled by the commitment you have made to own such a powerful breed...Rottweilers are a handful but not like the pressa

@@presadentialcommander3649 I use Fromm large breed 3 cups a day plus 1.5 cups lightly baked skinned boned chicken and 1.5 cups steamed sweet potato also 3/4 cup cottage cheese per day... divided into 3 meals.... we r quite active he has maintained same weight for months....raw takes a lot of planning and time...my Rottweiler is super social and well behaved,has a even temper.I believe nutrition is the bases for their internal health but activity is the base for a healthy mind that is rationale.ty for the great content

I feed my dogs a 90% raw diet. If you go down this route do it gradually over a few weeks ..if currently fed on kibble. Natural food is better for dogs, & need not cost a fortune. My dogs are aroung 50 kgs & built like athlete's. If you research it you will find there are many benefits of feeding raw food.

Ive been feeding raw to my boerboel since he was seven weeks old. I literally cringe when i see dog owners feed kibble, any kibble. Canned forxme is a no no as well. Your canary dog is very handsome i must say. Anyways, all the best to you and yours.

There are other channels that do Rotti vs Presa comparisons. I think in most cases the Presa is considered to be more powerful. I love Rotties! My uncle just got two. Thanks for watching!

hunters and fishermen sell their own meat and fish really cheap! is just to find local ones and start talking with them! I payed 40 cent for a whole kilogram pike! so is worth doing the research and call and discuss with the ones you got in your area... many hunters got meat over as well as organs and are happy to support your dog for a BARF diet! give it a try! in a grocery store a kilogram pike can be 30-40 dollars not 40 cent like the farmer up in the north I got to know! so do consider it 😀👌🏻

You should switch the raw I have an experience with a cane corso and you'll see the difference within days but start slow his coat will be shinier he'll be overall happier and his poop will be solid he'll be more active too and it'll help strengthen his jaw raw is the best diet for larger dogs also remember when feeding cable there is a very high chance of bloat he is a larger dog so he can easily die from that raw is the best choice for a dog his size

He does shower. He hated water at first. Still does probably lol.. but we have a sliding glass shower so he's in there and not going anywhere. We wash him once a week on average. We learned Commander got stinky real quick lol.
Try to be in there with them him so he can see that there is nothing wrong we had a pitbull-dobe and that what we did

According to my vet,the best food to feed a large breed dog is still eukanuba.lab confirmed.
I heard that was an incredible option too. Since filming this video I see a ton of Presa and Bully owners using "Victor" in the teal bag. Apparently a popular choice among big dog owners. I learned a lot about diet options after posting this video.
I tried the victor you talking about then i seen on the bag not for puppies that will grow to be over 100lbs as an adult. I had to throw thw rest away because my presa was already over 100lbs at 9mths.

The withers on a dog is the highest point of its shoulder blades. It is located behind the base of the dog's neck. Feel around this area on your dog and locate the top bony point of the shoulder. It is easier to locate the withers on a dog with a short coat.

Man for real, I see three people feeding some cheerios to the dog.. when It takes me like 20 minutes to feed my Presa Canario alone. I give him raw mince and chop vegetables and fruits on top with some quaker or greek yogurt.. big breeds need a RAW DIET, don't give ur dog this shit...It's like eating potato chips everyday..
