I remember watching this movie in French years ago and he would say ''hambourgeois''. My family and I found it very funny because we're French Canadian and we never use that term. We would say ''hamburger'' like any american.
Peter SELLERS WAS THE BEST... Steve was not successful to portray the character ... He should creat somet hing with a team ... Middle Eastern ..IT WILL BE HILARIOUS.
hey guys, the American should try to learn British English, it's the original English. Your American accent sound's weird too, dont make fun of another accent.
Actually, if you did some research on linguistics, you would learn that American English is actually closer to the original British English than today's British English is.
Yeah, the modern British accent was developed by the upper class to sound fancier. Obviously when British colonists came to America they sounded the correct way. Across the pond you guys changed it.
Are you kidding? It's Inspector Clouseau, a character intended to be caricature of a Frenchman rather than a real Frenchman. But seriously though, are you kidding?

Kind of funny how he can't pronounced to when "tu", one of the most common french pronouns for "you" sounds almost exactly the same
"Tu" is pronounced more like "chew" than "to".

The French accent is exaggerated and silly. That's the point. Unfortunately you missed a simple joke.

You know what, that's partly what makes Steve Martin hilarious in this film. The lack of an authentic sounding french accent.

This is actually from the movie The Pink Panther, not the show
Je manger une pizza!
What you are saying is "I to eat a pizza". You need to conjugate manger in the je form.
