Hi Colin - what a amazing job you have made of the Volvo FH16 Wrecker Truck, I have just purchased this model and mfc03 also associated accessories for the boom etc I'm really looking forward to the build. I have built King haulers Knight hauler and cascade kamiya kits along with various trailers - they are just good quality kits thanks for the videos keep up the good work.
Extremely impressive bit of Kit!! I'll be getting started on my 8X4 Merc Tipper Truck soon, now that you've given me more confidence with your perfectly named "Fancy a Beier" Series! One invaluable lesson you taught was keep NOTES on Wiring and Transmitter functions. I've discovered that I have to RIP OUT ALL Wiring from the Cab back, on my Grand Hauler.... I forgot and reverted to NEGATIVE COMMON wiring on at least half!!! 😞😠😠😭 (45+ years of mindset) I do hope you'll be able to return and make a video detailing custom sequences and Sounds.
hello, I'm building an FH16 too, but I need your help to inform how the side leds were placed? thanks for the kind attention, recommendations from Brazil.
Hi there in Brazil! You may already know, but the side markers are not intended as lights. They are basically covers for the body screws. The only thing you can do is drill a very small (2mm) hole that doesn't foul the screw holes and insert a smd LED such as an 0805. These leds are extremely small, but give off a lot of light.

Hi can I ask what LEDs you used for the side markers in the body and for the scene lights above the lockers ? Thanks
Hello Josh. SMD 0805 leds. Available pre-wired on the net. Regards Colin.
@@tamiyatruckbuilding7426 hi Colin thanks very much for the info. I assume you used amber for the marker lights ? Thanks
