Volvo is a renowned actor in the global commercial vehicle market, with one of their flagship brands being the FH Series that underwent a full model change in 2012. This R/C model assembly kit recreates the 750hp engine FH16 Globetrotter 750 8x4 tow truck from that range. The model has a realistic body, and movable mechanism to allow towing. Gear changes are also possible via transmitter controls. 2012年にデビューしたボルボ社製トラックのフラッグシップ、FHシリーズ。4軸の8×4シャーシに最強の750馬力エンジンを搭載し、レッカー装備を架装。大型のトラックやバスを牽引するレッカートラックをモデル化した電動ラジオコントロールカーの組み立てキットです。リアルに再現されたキャビンはフロントグリルにステンレス製エッチングパーツを使用して表情を引き締め、インテリアも一部再現。リヤボディは各ドアが開閉します。さらに、注目のレッカー装備は金属パーツを多用。ウインチブームやアンダーリフト、アウトリガーなどは手動で伸縮できます。シャーシはサイドレールにアルミ製チャンネル材を使用したラダーフレームタイプ。フロントにTRマイティチューンモーター(35T)を搭載し、組み立て式の3速トランスミッションを標準装備。RC操作で走行中のギヤチェンジができ、1/14RCトレーラーヘッドを牽引した状態での走行も楽しめます。

It's $1100 with no remote, no lights, no battery, no sound effects, no boom actuator. Everything cost extra. I have one that I'm about to build for a friend. He has around $2500 invested so far and we haven't even bought paint yet. The body parts are molded in white. It's a big kit that will easily cover two tables once I've inventoried all of the parts. I'm finishing a big X-Wing and then I can start on the truck.
Thanks, I was considering buying it, but with all that extra cost there is no way now. Why even sell the kit without the electronics?

Great truck but one important thing is missing. The iconic Volvo L-shaped daylights are not lit. 😪
you can get them aftermarket, but yes it would of been nice as standard

If you and other Tamiya customers are willing to pay the extra cost, maybe they would put more into videos. Nothing comes for free

Good for Lesu, which supplies upgrade front axles, and many other suppliers which supplies upgrade parts for Tamiya. Tamiya don't care to develop their solutions from the 90's as there are no competition in their price range

in total its going to cost at least $2k to get a basic working rig...not into tow trucks that much compared to the big riggers..will stick with my Peterbilt grand hauler for now..... Problem I am facing is how fast I lose interest in this forms of RC.....

So super expensive kit. That all hydraulic function are manual. Then you need a actuator just to make the boom lift and lower. But still need to manually work everything else... Great way to drop the ball tamiya
There are option to make them be from the remote, but the player must make these assemblies at home. LOL!🤣
