I am a US Army Vet.. Somebody would have to seriously F-UP for this to happen. But if I did there is something that the review video does not take into consideration. Americans and the Brits have a connection. A connection that goes back beyond 1776. The population of the UK knows America would never attack them unless something very drastic happened in the UK. The American Congress would never approve such action unless it was last resort. Brits know this and I think they respect our friendship. There would be an uprising in the UK and the US would show restraint. America's military tries hard to win "hearts and minds" of the country. A friendly population is a great work environment. I think (my opinion) that Brits would burn down #10 before they would allow this to happen. Because the hearts and minds of both nations have been combined for so long. The US would never "Conquer" the UK. In the very worst case scenario it would save it. Then leave once it was stable again.
I saw some WW2 footage of rural Brits watching American armaments and supplies driving by their sleepy little hamlets for days toward their designated stockpiling locations in preparation for the European invasion. Their eyes were as wide as pies and their jaws were just 2 inches off the ground. 😆 I wish I could find that exact footage again.
While the US military is capable of neutralizing any adversaries, the rate limiting factors for application of this power are a) a rationale, and b) the will to do so. Neither of which apply to NATO allies like the UK.
I LOVE Britain and Ireland!! Wish i could go visit. Its on my bucket list. I am dying to go and just walk around smiling and saying hey y'all!😂😂 glad we're friends❤❤
Fun Fact: The US has actually drawn up multiple plans to invade the UK (and mainland Europe) stemming from WWII and when we were worried about the USSR potentially taking parts of Europe. We needed plans on how to invade against a USSR-occupied Europe. It would be funny if a few of the old British kings could see this video. I suspect that they would have approached the colonies a little differently if they knew how powerful a couple of them would become.
