African military power is pretty spread out between its countries. Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and Ethiopia are some of the strongest, and in the scenario from this video would no doubt be concentrating on working with the EU to kick the US out of the Middle East and to protect the Mediterranean. South Africa and Nigeria are relatively strong for African countries, but are too far from the major action to contribute much. Whether the combined forces of African militaries not busy in the Middle East could achieve anything besides material support is unclear to me, but I doubt it.

The victory condition here for America is basically stop the GA, which can probably be achieved with very limited direct combat; individual countries could almost certainly be bombed into agreeing to status quo ante bellum, its just getting them to that point which would be expensive.
Now, if Americas win condition was global occupation, that would be a lot trickier.

Let's not forget. The US citizens possess more small arms and ammo than the US military itself. The citizens could hold the homeland, while its military takes care of the rest of the world.

No. Those were not windows on the sub. Those are nuclear missile launch tubes. That sub is made for one task: destroying the world of your enemy before they destroy yours. The video glosses over the fact that these subs being used as a blockade is the threat of nuclear destruction. They have normal torpedoes too, but really, it's the nukes...

If it were a surprise att ack like at Pearl Harbor, we will see it coming and counterattack. Seeing that it's a coordinated effort against us, the military would go full scale all at once, since theoretically we don't have any allies to resupply us. I think the U. S. response would be devastating. Nuclear power gives us a major advantage.

    Fun fact....
In the 1990s and early 2000s, there was talk about the United States aiming to become a 'hyperpower,' a term used to describe a nation with unparalleled global influence, even beyond that of traditional superpowers. It was an interesting concept that emerged after the Cold War when the U.S. was seen as the sole superpower.
So to clarify it that is the reason why the United States is so powerful today...
Because it is the only hyperpower within the world just as it used to be the only superpower after the cold war....
And as long as it continues on track as it is with the growth of technology, once humans become a space bearing race, they will be the only celestial power...
Though the future hasn't been written yet and it will be interesting to see what comes out of it

As a US born and raised citizen, I must mention this about China.
Chinese nationals have been able to purchase millions of acres across the country. The US gave China the Suez Cznal. The US gave China a very important shipp8ng yard in California. China has a stronghold here in the US. Though firepower is lacking, they are strategically working their 'plans" here within our borders.
Suitcase nuclear bombs have been spoken of.
But, then again, the US military and citizens are well armed and ready for any internal conflict.

@@JenniferKitchens123 We should be investing in Central and South American goods production for Chinese equivalent products that are cost prohibitive for US production. The logistics alone with Central and South American produced goods would be far more cost effective, plus building great ties with our hemisphere neighbors. Put politics aside, as we do with China anyway, and build an economic neighborhood, such that countries like Russia and China no longer matter.

Most people that have guns have multiple & it’s common for us to take our kids to the gun range & teach our kids how to use a gun too as a sport. Being able ti at least shoot something is fundamental here.. as for the military there are more reserves than active. So in an actual war that needed the reserves to fight there would he probably close to 2million
