I find these videos always reassuring. No one in the US military within their right mind would post videos about technology, strategy, locations stock etc. Which leads me to conclude that the current US military is far more advanced that any of us are lead to believe.
Not really it's a common misconception, the US military always releases the info about new weapons they create, they just don't give the details of the weaponry. With the aircraft carriers we know they exist but the US keeps many of their abilities classified. Similarly the new B21 bomber also wasn't delayed for exposure but its abilities aren't talked about. The US doesn't keep any of its tools secret it simply doesn't provide information about them.

This all seems completely over the top, but it's the result of some really hard lessons we learned from both WWI and WWII. It used to be that after a war was fought, we'd disband most of our military and not bother to activate those units again until we needed it again. The result was an unprepared fighting force with no combat experience and wildly outdated weapons. We'd show a lot of heart and determination, but that loss of experience, outdated tactics and equipment would cost us tens of thousands of American lives. Never again. We'll spend lives if necessary but if you were in our shoes, wouldn't you want to spend the money to make sure more of your people made it back alive? Why would we risk losing tens of thousands of people just to appease the criticism of people who frankly know nothing of our history or country in general? Besides, truth be told our military spending usually comes out to around 16% of our total national budget. I know people like to claim that it's above 50%, but they don't realize that they're referring to discretionary spending, what Congress votes on. The vast majority of our national budget is considered mandatory spending, which automatically gets spent because it's things people rely on like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. On top of all that, we're a counter to bad actors on the world stage. Nowadays it's China and Russia and frankly both nations have proven that if it weren't for us, they'd both be invading other nations and we all know what that leads to. We have to be prepared to fight both at the same time, with or without allies because again, it means more Americans not coming home if we don't. We're not perfect, we don't always get it right and we can be outright malicious at times, but at the end of the day, we really are the less of two evils by a long shot. For the most part, we do leave the rest of the world alone and we're allied with countries all over the globe. Wars and conflicts still happen, but they are just a fraction of the destruction and death that used to occur.

I worked in the field for 35 years. This is just the known reasons not to mess with the U.S. We have many weapon systems the general public knows nothing about. The U.S. is well equipped for war believe me.

And the 6th reason you shouldn't mess with the USA is that there are over 20 million Americans that own guns. A significant amount of those gun owners have "AR" type weapons also known as "America's Gun" due to its popularity and ease of use. The vast majority of these individuals are law abiding and extremely patriotic. Many of which are ex-military. So, if an enemy is lucky and stupid enough to set foot on US soil, they would be immediately killed without notice. Citizens would not take POW's or recognize a white flag of surrender. So, foreign nations should not be so foolish to think that a weak president somehow increases their chances of success. This all seems completely over the top, but it's the result of some really hard lessons we learned from both WWI and WWII. It used to be that after a war was fought, we'd disband most of our military and not bother to activate those units again until we needed it again. The result was an unprepared fighting force with no combat experience and wildly outdated weapons. We'd show a lot of heart and determination, but that loss of experience, outdated tactics and equipment would cost us tens of thousands of American lives.
Never again. We'll spend lives if necessary but if you were in our shoes, wouldn't you want to spend the money to make sure more of your people made it back alive? Why would we risk losing tens of thousands of people just to appease the criticism of people who frankly know nothing of our history or country in general?
Besides, truth be told our military spending usually comes out to around 16% of our total national budget. I know people like to claim that it's above 50%, but they don't realize that they're referring to discretionary spending, what Congress votes on. The vast majority of our national budget is considered mandatory spending, which automatically gets spent because it's things people rely on like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
On top of all that, we're a counter to bad actors on the world stage. Nowadays it's China and Russia and frankly both nations have proven that if it weren't for us, they'd both be invading other nations and we all know what that leads to. We have to be prepared to fight both at the same time, with or without allies because again, it means more Americans not coming home if we don't.
We're not perfect, we don't always get it right and we can be outright malicious at times, but at the end of the day, we really are the less of two evils by a long shot. For the most part, we do leave the rest of the world alone and we're allied with countries all over the globe. Wars and conflicts still happen, but they are just a fraction of the destruction and death that used to occur.

U.S boosts the economy of other countries by arriving there and bringing money. I.E the Navy. They guard nations and bring peace, and mostly leave countries with their respective freedoms. US Citizens are still free and have freedom of speech.
China and the CCP have terrorized countries for decades and taken Taiwan and Hong Kong. They have a social credit system and a military that will enforce authoritarian communism over everyone.
Russia is violent and corrupt, constantly urging murder and consistently fighting other countries for takeover.
You act like insulting people and giving low credit "points" gets anything across. The US as stated by the OP isn't perfect but it is definitely your best shot compared to China and Russia who have literal visual evidence to the things they've done.
