True. And if you look at what is controlling Senate, congress, and White House now, it is very likely to be destroyed by this current group of insane facists. Dont worry about the Russians, the home grown traitors will destroy us faster than the Russians could ever dream.
Just to be clear, our normal American citizens appreciate the allies we have very much. Most of us love the diversity of other cultures. The media might paint a different picture, but it's not true by any means. I'm a vet, and I approve this message lol.
You state: "Most of us love the diversity of other cultures". Americans of different ethnicities hate each other more than the Taliban would hate the bunch of you together. I'm not being offensive just factual.

If there is no response for several minutes and your position is then destroyed by an overwhelming and utterly destructive airstrike, they're American." @DaperDerBy Usually, yes “accurate” would describe that well. Collateral damage in warfare today is rarely because they missed what they were aiming at. That doesn’t excuse militaries for picking ambiguous targets with high chances for unintended casualties.
@DaperDerBy When the slovenly cowards that are targeted, use hospitals and school children as a shield to protect their munitions and despicable leaders from the weapons used against them, then yes, there will unfortunately be collateral death and damage. The blatant disregard of some of our enemies for the lives of their own children, is a perfect example of why their ideology is a cancer to the human race. Their willingness to hide behind Innocent children, preying upon them in hopes that the better conscience of American forces will prevent them from striking them there. That is precisely why there are precision weapons in our arsenal designed to pinpoint the target, and eradicate the bad guys. These weapons are usually deployed when the target is away from civilian innocents, such as when they are on the move in a vehicle in an isolated area.

Cleared the jungle foliage, leveled the runway laid grid iron and had planes landing with supplies and troops in a few days! Never had he seen such organized speed before or since in his life. My father in law, 102 years old, served in the navy in WWII and has equal stories he shared. He stopped playing tennis at 92 out of respect for his younger opponents as he was slowing their games down.
The SeaBees are something else. The speed and efficiency with which they can complete major engineering projects in the midst of combat conditions is insane.

I love this Country, that does not mean that I'm not critical of other layers of what makes up the U.S. we can always do better. I can support the troops, but still disagree with the policies/politics that put those same troops into action. Its a precarious dance, but well worth it.
There's a lot about the US that is good,, but really there's so much we're doing wrong that it's absurd to pretend we're not messed up. We need to he honest about ourselves.
Sure...can't stand seeing other Countries taking a shit on the USA...it's like a family member you quibble with and you may say is a bitch, but only YOU can call them a bitch. But when others do it, then you get your back up. That said, where do you get "have more respect for our Country than our own people do?" I can both marvel at America's military might, their economic power...AND be upset with other aspects of leadership or different aspects of the this Country. Our Military might is not the ONLY thing that makes a country. Being a patriot doesn't mean just blindly admiring your Country. If this guy went into America's divisive political parties or some other policies I'll not name now because I don't feel like arguing about it, I'm quite sure he'd have less...positive feelings.

We have immeasurable respect and appreciation for those who are willing to stand with us and try to make this world a better place.
Well said!
I am Dutch and a Dutch friend of mine is a veteran. Of course he can't (and doesn't want to) tell everything, but he did say that he worked with the US military. He told me he always liked to work with servicemen from other nations because they were just "other little boys that liked playing soldier", to quote him. This might sounda bit weird but some things you just don't say in other languages, but if you were to translate it, it would make sense. Back to his story. He said that he always loved the US military and it's soldiers, and he even had (he passed away) some friends in the US. He always told that they where very nice people and he hoped one day to visit the US.
He used to say "God bless America" quite often, wich is something you probavly won't hear a lot from outside the US. I want to say the same and thank you and all other veterans for their service. Thank you
I just love the UK and Australia, and I was in the US Army

The fuck out of here, we don't give a darn about the uk, Canada or Australia lol. We tolerate them. That's about it.
I served on the USS Gerald R ford as a pilot and there is 7-10 ships in a strike group, 1 or 2 cruisers, 2 to 3 destroyers, number on nuclear submarines depends on what the strike group is doing but mostly 1 or 2, and a number of supply ships. Not only that but the Gerald R ford carry's up to 90 Aircraft including fighters, helicopters and other types of aircraft to. crazy isn't it?
3 British Marines came to the rescue of 6 of us Americans trying to hold off about 15 or so Turkish in Kiel Germany. First quote was from the tall one..."Couldn't let you Americans have all the fun." Half of the Turkish got trapped between the British and us, the tide turned quickly. Thank you again. -edit This was back in 88-89.

@DaperDerBy Usually, yes “accurate” would describe that well.
Their willingness to hide behind
Innocent children, preying upon them in hopes that the better conscience of American forces will prevent them from
striking them there.
That is precisely why there are precision weapons in our arsenal designed to pinpoint the target, and eradicate the bad guys.
These weapons are usually deployed when the target is away from civilian innocents, such as when they are on the move in a vehicle in an isolated area.

They are awesome and great guys, same with the other Allie’s, aussies and the Nordic countries, except for the Dutch, they are the exception, cool and great people, but they legit had a ND of a hand grenade, in camp, right outside their PX me a few buddies were walking there, heard a small explosion, locked and loaded and sprinted there almost a 1000m, to find out, they ND a damn hand grenade…like how…why? Silly bastards, literally a few weeks later, they ND’d a Mk19 over our tents, and it landed about 100m outside the wire and went off, making us all stand to and lose sleep, yet again, lol. Freaky deeky Dutch.
Not junior partners, Brothers!!!! 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Wow. Speechless. That is Brotherhood!!!
@@Plastikdoom What does ND stand for? I have NI (no idea) what you are talking about.

I am retired US Navy. I have participated in carrier task groups. Ships night orders always list items to continuously track. Number one is always the carrier.
As an American, I say to you, Thank you for serving your great country. American's know we have the greatest Military on the planet, but we also know we have the greatest allies in you and other great freedom loving countries like yours.
Agreed. Some may think otherwise, but we can't keep things together without the help of our allies. We don't always say it, but we thank you.
lol says the guy who has a racial slur as his user name. Most americans don't actually know what freedom is. They think being able to choose between coke and pepsi and mc donalds and burger king and being free to choose their favorite NFL team to root for is freedom. While their democracy was literally one Vice President's actions away from being couped right out from under them.
@@lordoftheflings
Can the same not be said of every other nation on Earth? None are perfect but we all continue striving to be. The US is very much flawed, every American I know will attest to that, but fundamentally... We believe in freedom and equality. We are striving to uphold them, even if there are domestic powers who seek to erode our progress. But as I said... It is just as every other democratic nation is. Flawed, but at least trying.
@Noah Hawkins Its a slur. Even the football team finally acknowledged that fact and changed their name to "The Washington Football Team"

For real make better citizens than half the people here!

"Behind every blade of grass, is a loaded gun."
Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto
what he actually said is "there will be a gun behind every blade of grass" when the emperor ordered him to draw up an invasion plan of the lower 48 states.
@@Jack29151 a plan like that would have failed miserably. I believe Hitler came to the same conclusion. Even today foreign nations could not send them fast enough. The us civilians are a bigger threat than what military we might have on the ground here.
Still, world champions!
@Carol Reeves I am American!! I agree with you! 👍🇺🇲
That was 30 years ago, behind every blade of grass is a small arsenal. This factor alone is why we Americans need to stand and protect our 2A rights. Our crazy left leaders like Pelosi are our week points. They need replacing and fast. Joe and the Hoe are just puppets in a game they cant even play.
The Brits fought beside me in Afghanistan, and they are alway considered my brothers. Good video.

This is why the U.S. is called “The Sleeping Dragon” by the Japanese Military.
We Americans dropped the sun on them twice... I think we are worse than a dragon
I actually thought it was “the sleeping dragon” too for a while. Turns out the quote stems from Isoroku Yamamoto in WWII, and he said “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”
@@finjames4878 op should edit in what you said then give some credit for the effort in order to encourage sharing and learning.
It's sleeping Giant. Although sleeping dragon does sound better.
The Japanese call us that because of us citizens who own guns are bigger than any military

US Army Vet here, yes Technology US is "superior" and yes just by sheer numbers of our military, we're massive. But every deployment with UK forces, I learned a lot. We all did and I think that is the trait which makes the UD miltary forces so formidable. We're not ashamed to learn from others, its embraced when another force has better ideas/practices. I learned so much from my british counter parts. ❤
I'm so happy we were able to put that silly little american revolution thing behind us and become bff's. 🇺🇸🇬🇧

I wish that were true! Military Police were overused in Convoy Security escorts. We coordinated most. Mounted & dismounted patrols, used/ worked with Military working K9's in operations, security details for senior officers, detainees, & female MP's were overused to do female combatants searches of homes after males were escorted away. Females searched the person & personal living spaces of female possible or known combatants & or insurgents. What Middle East war did you go too?
