In Africa I would see most of the "Françafrica" region align with the blue team since their currencies are linked to the Euro, except the countries with a lot of Russian presence like Mali for example which has been very rebellious lately. In the East, predicting Sudan is probably the hardest. Yes Ethiopia is building a dam that takes a lot of water from the Nile which Sudan relies on a little, but they don't rely on only the Nile and they're even buying electricity from Ethiopia thanks to their dam. But nevertheless I would see them joining the blue team with Egypt, mainly because I think the EAF would join the red team, thus opposing Sudan with South Sudan. The reason I think this is because the EAF's main trading partner is China and it would hurt them a lot to go against them. Also I don't think they would really want to go against Ethiopia either. Similarly, I think countries like Mozambique or the Zambia should also join the red team, as they "kinda" want to join the EAF so it wouldn't make that much sense to go against them. The north is easy to do. Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt are US allies. Yes, there's Israel for Egypt, but Egypt is still one of the few Arab countries to recognize Israel and they're not really on bad terms either. And yes, there's also Russia but still : Egypt likes Saudi Arabia, hates Iran and Ethiopia likes Iran and China. Meanwhile, Lybia would join the red team obviously, and same with Algeria and Mauritania as they don't like Morocco. Most of the rest of Africa would probably join the red team as most African countries have China as their main trading partner. This means that I would see Nigeria or Angola in the red team for example. The exceptions I would see are countries like Sierra Leone, Liberia or Guinea Bissau since they have good times with the "Françafrique", and maybe South Africa since it's pretty difficult to guess which team they would join, but if they join the blue team their neighbors (except Mozambique previously mentioned) could also join the blue team as they don't want to be crushed by South Africa.
I've got a suggestion: What if the War on Terror was worse? Like if NATO and the US invaded countries known for terrorism besides Iraq and Afghanistan? Countries like Iran, Syria, Sudan, Libya, and maybe even Cuba being invaded in the early 2000s along with Iraq and Afghanistan. I think it would be a very interesting scenario for you to do.
@@jacoreywilliams6406 How? All of those countries were particularity big terrorist strongholds in the late 90s and early 2000s. I don't see how pointing that out is racist.
Countries on the red team: Russia. Belarus. Serbia. Armenia. Nicaragua. Venezuela. Cuba. Trinidad and Tobago (by accident). China. North Korea. Kazakhstan. Turkmenistan. Uzbekistan. Kyrgyzstan. Tajikistan. Mongolia. Iran. Afghanistan. Pakistan. Sri Lanka. Myanmar. Laos. Cambodia. Iraq. Syria. Lebanon. Yemen. Palestine. Algeria. Libya. Mauritania. Niger. Mali. Ethiopia. Eritrea. Sudan. Somalia. Angola. Central African Republic. Cameroon. Republic of the congo. Sorry if i missed some 😅
I disagree on Burkina Faso. They've been trying to get French forces out of the country and there's a lot of support for Russia (generally to counter the French and deal with terrorism in the country, I believe). But I could be wrong about all that. Interesting vid overall though
You should also start to take into account America's "major non-NATO allies", there are some surprising countries that actually have miliary relations with the USA like Argentina and even Qatar and Jordan
uhm if it was real i think we would just remain neutral and try not to join both of them because most of the young generation hates Russia and almost entire population doesn’t like china and if government decides to join red team i think there could be a rebellion because almost all the civilians hate politicians for not doing their job and taking tax payers money to their pockets.
Fun fact: Sri Lanka has the 17th largest military by manpower (450,000) and the 10th largest naval fleet by size (270 vessels). They're also the most experienced military in Asia, fighting the Tamil Tigers for like 30 years. Overall, Sri Lanka is quite strong for their size. Also, given the fact that Indian military failed to fight the Tamil Tigers in the 1990s in Sri Lanka and had to retreat, I doubt they can fight the SL military with that ease in their own country. It will be a blood bath for sure.
I won't blame you for oversimplified thinking. I am an Indian and our own jingoistic Indians also say similar stuff about Chinese military. We clearly know that the Chinese military is superior to us; but to console ourselves we make similar silly arguments. "Chinese military is not battle-hardened." "They are mummy's babies due to one-child policy" "They ran away from Vietnam." Should I consider China not-so-strong, therefore? Nah, I won't indulge in such jingoistic, oversimplified thinking. I know that the Chinese military is going to be very tough for the Indian military. And this is despite the fact that the gulf between Chinese and Indian militaries is much narrower than the gulf between Indian and Shri Lankan militaries. However, you have the freedom to delude yourself, like every other jingoistic hyper-nationalist out there. Keep in mind that the US could also not wipe-out the Taliban from Afghanistan and suffered significant losses. Does that mean even the US is weaker than it seems? It is an altogether different battle fighting guerilla militants and that too in foreign lands. Such battles are not fought with even a fraction of the given military's overall might, and the whole such operations start getting questioned. "Why waste our personnel and resources fighting a battle in another land?" "It is an alien world, and the enemies are not regulars." Because the military may not have a strong intelligence network in that foreign land, it may make fighting such guerilla militants even more difficult. Native militaries, may however, fight-off such militants with more ease due to better intelligence network, simply because it is their own land! So, always think before you make judgements. There is no way Shri Lanka will be able to give India a blood bath. However, as I said, you are always free to believe anything. There is absolutely nothing stopping you from doing so!
@@therash09what you say is interesting but i do feel you are wrong in some places. When you talk about the chinese military being stronger than indian military, you are right on paper but pragmatically speaking, india has the edge. While china does have more sheer numbers and maybe even better tech, the geography doesnt seem to support them. For instance, in the extreme norths of india, having a full scale war is difficult and therefore invasion will be tough. If we were talking about plains or so,then the story would play out as different but in reality we have the harsh climate on extremely tall valleys. In these places, wars are played physically and at best, the army is involved(no airforce and ofcourse no navy). And when it comes to simple physical clashes, china doesnt even come close to the quality of indian soldiers and its an easy win for india. I hope you the remember the galwan clash( 20 indian soldiers martyred to china’s 45). But With more extensive fighting the game will shift towards china and the battle would be harder for india. Moving on to the coastline of india, india has a strong hold on indian ocean, arabian sea and the bay of bengal where again Chinese will face issues( they have a better navy but not by a large degree, also they will have exhausted a little bit of thier resources coming to fight in the first place since they cant pass through the malacca straight where india has good ties with Singapore and also has a naval base nearby in the andamans. The same applies to the airforce. Not only this but china cannot direct all its resources on india since japan and south korea will obviously also participate.). The same applies to the airforce. So in sheer power, china is stronger but thier geography isnt on their side. Also i disagree with the original writer claiming that sri lanka has a chance because unlike the indo-sino case, sri lanka has 0 natural advantage(defence) over india.
@@dr.nishajha9126 I don't believe China's military superiority is only on-paper. China has a far stronger economy and much larger forex and petroleum reserves than us. It has way larger military supplies that can last for much longer than ours in the event of a war. Much of their military equipment is now indigenous which means that they won't be at the mercy of foreign suppliers for most of their stuff. This is in sharp contrast to us as most military equipment in our ranks is imported. India lacks indigenous capability. Moreover, China is way ahead of us in military technology and this shows in their confidence when they recently decided to cut-down on their military manpower. In India, the talk about trimming down manpower was met with opposite opinions from military experts and former servicemen who were not too confident about it. Keep in mind that technological superiority matters a lot, and it was demonstrated in the 2020 Armenia-Azerbaijan War where Azerbaijan annihilated the Armenian army through superior Turkish drones. India is nowhere near China in indigenous drone technology, hypersonic missiles, etc. So, it is absolutely not an on-paper thing. Regarding the claim that it will be difficult to invade India from the Himalay, well let's not forget 1962 when China actually did that. We may argue that we were not well prepared and that we were weak at that time but let us not forget that China has grown way stronger since then than India has. I agree that China will find it very difficult to cross the Himalay into India and also fight the huge Indian Army- which will by no means be a pushover and will give them a very bloody fight. It will be very foolish of it to bear such extreme losses in such extreme conditions. But like I said, technology becomes vital here and China has a very, very serious edge over us here. Also, the Chinese infrastructure build-up along the LAC shows their plans to push into Indian territory in the case of a war, for push they have strengthened their supporting infrastructure all along the LAC. Moreover, taking cue from India, China has created a regiment of Tibetans since these people are naturally suited to fight at high altitudes. This has been a recent challenge for India. So, I will never downplay the Chinese along the LAC. Regarding physical clashes, well, it is a very naive thing to say. Every military soldier trains hard to be physically strong. Also, a soldier's quality is determined by not just his physical strength, but also the training imparted to a soldier and the weaponry and technology that back him. The Galwan clashes were hand-to-hand fight because of the agreement between India and China (and we don't really know how many Chinese soldiers died, whether 45 or >45 or
In the 90s there wasn’t a full on war between india and the Tamil Tigers, India only sent their peacekeeping forces to help Sri Lanka, and no Sri Lanka isn’t the most experienced military in Asia, there is no evidence to support that claim. And Looking at manpower, navel fleet, airforce, Sri Lanka doesn’t stand a chance against India, not gonna mention the nukes and help from the USA
India would definately go with Russia as US supports Pakistan and has been supporting Pakistan in all the wars against India and Russia was the only country supporting India in 1971 war. India continued buying oil from Russia when rest of the world stopped buying oil and gas from Russia.
No india is whit the us bc that Pakistan and china are together and india hate them and india is not happy whit the war and not whit russia and it wil be neutral and the us does not like china
You’re right but we can’t overlook the fact that Pakistan and China are also in the red team, and India fighting in a team that has those 2 is very unlikely.
Saudi arabia might go to the red team and so will most of Africa. Alot of Africa has ties with China and if they join the rival side their economies will crumble without the Chinese aid. Saudi Arabia's relations has deteriorated with the United States and they have alot of economical ties with Russia and they are also looking forward to join BRICS. BRICS is still relevant even if it is not a military alliance all the countries in BRICS have major economical ties with each other. But good video
It all breaks down when you base anything on Team Red being able to do anything over water. Team Blue has complete Naval control so anything not directly connected to the China-Russia axis falls within 2 years. Last 1/3 of the video shows pretty naive understanding of combined arms military tactics.
The fact that The US is not also the most powerful nation in human history and could probably conquer the whole planet, but also have that much friends and allies is really insane. The Good guys are always stronger than the bad guys.
Yeah BRICS is more for economical purposes. Saudi Arabia is a BRICS member but it is a very big US Ally, it would never join Russia and China. Nor Iran, especially since Iran is on the Red Team and is a Brics Member themselves.

Massive local history-defining conflict between two countries: ‘dw guys they’ll get over it’
Fun fact: Sri Lanka has the 17th largest military by manpower (450,000) and the 10th largest naval fleet by size (270 vessels).
