I feel like if this scenario was to become true than WW3 would last longer than the entirety of WW2. The reason being for my hypothesis is that everything has gotten bigger, including the size of the worlds militaries, the amount of countries involved in being allies with one anther and the technologies included making everything more efficient, which would give armies time more time to plan.
The amount of fighting people vs people in the population is a lot lower. Even with a draft, the level of technology we have now has allowed us to deploy less people power for more destructive power. WW3, could be longer, I won't argue that, although I believe the actual amount of human participants will be lower than what we've seen in the great World Wars.
If nukes become involved the war will be short and destructive....that simple. 2 nukes in Japan were enough to end the war.....now we are talking thousands of nukes on both sides.

Therefore, india cannot stay neutral after the invasion of taiwan and has to intervene. Yes, russia did save india in 1971, but things have changed. Russia has ruined its reputation by invading ukraine and india does have many european allies too (who are fighting russia because they are part of nato). All things considered, india would pretty much be forced to be on the blue team.

Which won't be coming to India either way as Russia is in war, but if india joins the war, it will hurt us very badly. Secondly, as both china and USA and most of the economic powers of the world are in war, India will be getting much more money from trade. ( by selling to those places that are not in the war but are hit badly by the supply chain disruption ) India wouldn't be as stable as it is today, but it will be better off then others. Pakistan might do something as they are put on a leash by china, but their economy is doing very not good. And china will need to get involved and help them, which in turn will weaken other Chinese fronts. So I don't think china will be attacking India using Pakistan. Although my logic might be flawed, and things can go the other way.
India had standoffs with China back in 2020, and now there's a diplomatic standoff with China renaming some towns in one of our states. Personally, I feel like China is highly likely to attack with their military fully mobilised anyway. P.S. If you are not doing it yet, I suggest creating a continuous universe

It is a great video, but as a Korean, I really cannot agree that South Korea and North Korea would go back to their original borders before 1950. South Korea will actually LOSE territory if that occurs. But I do not actually think the South will immediatly annex the North either. The two nations have so big gaps on economically and a fast annexation would wreck the economy(you all know how much Germany struggled to recover their economy after an unexpected reunification). Also it would be expected that there would be an amount of time needed to actually militarily control the North, after a huge war. In order to make an actually safe place for citizens to live, at least 10 years would be expected. So, I think South Korea will annex a little bit of land to the 39th parralel(because there are very important infrastructures there) and puppet the rest of the North. After giving economic aid to make the nations economically similar, then the annexation of the western lands will take place and there will be a full reunification

I think an interesting video idea would be a war over Russia. Imagine Russia as a whole just falls over night, and countries fight over its territory to determine new borders. I think it would be interesting to see how countries would start wars and break alliances over gaining some of Russia.

Realistic lol some many nuances are ignored in this video. Also one big thing that is being ignored is potential attacks on America and Canada. We simplify and act like war will never hit our shores and I think that is a big mistake. We have Russian and Chinese subs by our shores and you don't know where they are at any given time.

As an Indian, I would say India would be on the red team. Even though there are historical enemies of India on the red team, Russia is probably the only reason an Indian teenager like me, is alive today. (1971 Indo-Pak War i.e. Russia fought literally the whole world to defend India). Without the Russians, India would have been taken over and split between China and Pakistan. In simple words, Russia + India vs US + UK + Pakistan (also India was in a really bad state then so only Russia was fighting effectively.) We need to pay back the Russians, so, Red Team.

My whole issue with "WW 3" is that, like the current conflict, the previous 2 were basically European-centric. Previously the colonies had no choice so the European conflicts were bound to engulf most of the world. But today, half the countries would try to stay neutral. In the end the only two powers with any salt are Russia and China, if they don't go crazy and start attacking a bunch of countries, it will just be posturing, no war.
Exactly. The only possible triggers leading to an extremely unlikely world war 3 is either that NATO somehow decides to nuke both Russia/China or to invade them. Or Russia/China starts to invade countries like UK, USA, Malaysia etc

If you go back and check, all countries declared war on a specific country and not like the blue team vs red we use while trying to visualise. Also Germany, being the chad it was, was the only power really fighting a two front war. I know USSR was fighting Japan too, but those were just skirmishes.

India will neither fight for either cause but to defend it's borders and maybe to help out Taiwan and other South East Asian Nations. It also has good relations with Iran and Russia. Hence it will not engage with the blue team rather its offensive will be more focused on China as it has been a thorn for India for a long time. It might even engage China to recapture the Chinese occupied Indian territories and Tibet (this greatly depends on the government), or it might play the waiting game like what America did during both the World Wars (1 and 2). So, India will not take a stance in this war but will take action to maintain its interests and help its neighbors. There is a possibility of Pakistan initiating a war of attrition at its borders with India at the behest of China to curtail Indian advances into Chinese territory. There will be huge naval battles in the pacific and the Indian oceans with Chinese forces if India engages in this war with China.
I see you left out Moldova. You have to remember though Russia supports the independence of Transnistria inside Moldova and already has some troops there. Also on Russian state television they have already mentioned several times that Russia wants to link up borders with Transnistria. Moldova has already declared their desire to join the EU and NATO. Moldova would most certainly get involved one way or another. Also I don't think Yemen would play a part as it is dealing with its own civil war with multiple parties involved. If it would get involved it would be blue. The internationally recognized government of Yemen is being backed by Saudi-Arabia. Most of turkish industry and population are in the coasts of minor Asia and specifically Izmir. It is a great video, but as a Korean, I really cannot agree that South Korea and North Korea would go back to their original borders before 1950. South Korea will actually LOSE territory if that occurs. But I do not actually think the South will immediatly annex the North either. The two nations have so big gaps on economically and a fast annexation would wreck the economy(you all know how much Germany struggled to recover their economy after an unexpected reunification). Also it would be expected that there would be an amount of time needed to actually militarily control the North, after a huge war. In order to make an actually safe place for citizens to live, at least 10 years would be expected. So, I think South Korea will annex a little bit of land to the 39th parralel(because there are very important infrastructures there) and puppet the rest of the North. After giving economic aid to make the nations economically similar, then the annexation of the western lands will take place and there will be a full reunification

Realistic lol some many nuances are ignored in this video.
Also one big thing that is being ignored is potential attacks on America and Canada.
We simplify and act like war will never hit our shores and I think that is a big mistake. Kinda like the Romans they had troops every were but Rome became so comfortable that they forgot to protect Rome. The USA may be on the same path. We have Russian and Chinese subs by our shores and you don't know where they are at any given time.

As an Indian, I would say India would be on the red team. Even though there are historical enemies of India on the red team, Russia is probably the only reason an Indian teenager like me, is alive today. (1971 Indo-Pak War i.e. Russia fought literally the whole world to defend India). Without the Russians, India would have been taken over and split between China and Pakistan.
In simple words,
Russia + India vs US + UK + Pakistan (also India was in a really bad state then so only Russia was fighting effectively.)

My whole issue with "WW 3" is that, like the current conflict, the previous 2 were basically European-centric. Previously the colonies had no choice so the European conflicts were bound to engulf most of the world. But today, half the countries would try to stay neutral. In the end the only two powers with any salt are Russia and China, if they don't go crazy and start attacking a bunch of countries, it will just be posturing, no war.

If you go back and check, all countries declared war on a specific country and not like the blue team vs red we use while trying to visualise. Also Germany, being the chad it was, was the only power really fighting a two front war. I know USSR was fighting Japan too, but those were just skirmishes.

India will neither fight for either cause but to defend it's borders and maybe to help out Taiwan and other South East Asian Nations. It also has good relations with Iran and Russia. Hence it will not engage with the blue team rather its offensive will be more focused on China as it has been a thorn for India for a long time. It might even engage China to recapture the Chinese occupied Indian territories and Tibet (this greatly depends on the government), or it might play the waiting game like what America did during both the World Wars (1 and 2).
So, India will not take a stance in this war but will take action to maintain its interests and help its neighbors. There is a possibility of Pakistan initiating a war of attrition at its borders with India at the behest of China to curtail Indian advances into Chinese territory. There will be huge naval battles in the pacific and the Indian oceans with Chinese forces if India engages in this war with China.
I see you left out Moldova. You have to remember though Russia supports the independence of Transnistria inside Moldova and already has some troops there. Also on Russian state television they have already mentioned several times that Russia wants to link up borders with Transnistria. Moldova has already declared their desire to join the EU and NATO.
Moldova would most certainly get involved one way or another.
Also I don't think Yemen would play a part as it is dealing with its own civil war with multiple parties involved. If it would get involved it would be blue. Interesting scenario, although in real life it would most likely be extremely one-sided in NATOs favour, especially when it’s just Russia and Belarus. Another thing is that I don’t actually believe China would invade Taiwan, even though that’s their claimed goal. The resources it would take to invade even without US backing Taiwan makes it unfeasible, especially when they can assist Russia in the European front.

Most of turkish industry and population are in the coasts of minor Asia and specifically Izmir. The geography of turkey is not that good for soldier and supply transportation and the NATO navy and air force would dominate over the Aegean and the Mediterranean in general since the turkish navy and air force couldn't compete with them in all out warfare.
