Yup, I did it from NYC. Stopped 3 times to sleep, once it was getting dark. 1st stop was Indiana. 2nd Was Oklahoma City. 3rd was New Mexico Route 66 Casino. Loved it -
Omg NYC to AZ is almost the most cross-country it gets! We almost stopped in Oklahoma City as well - we most likely will on the way back because we went through 27 hours without sleep, and it wasn't bad but we would love to see how stopping to actually sleep makes a difference on a road trip!
@@theeestherperez - It was the BEST decision I ever made. It was peaceful, less stress, and cultural. I did the same exact thing on the way back, 2 years later, and stayed at the same spots! Not driving in the dark was the key to it all.
