- HI! I attempted to vlog a whole day at Riu Latino in Cancun Mexico! This was around the first week of March so as you can tell the weather is BEAUTIFUL. I would definitely go back to this resort.
I purchased the vacation through southwest vacations for around $1300 per person for flight and stay at an all inclusive resort. More details on that in the next video.

I’m thinking of going here!! From other videos I watched all the lounge chairs were placed far back under the trees for shade…. Ur the only video I seen so far with the lounge chairs right in front of the water with umbrellas.
Where there plenty of spots to sit on in front of the water with umbrellas?
So there are tons of chairs far back under the palm trees but there are also chairs on the beach in front of the water but not many maybe like two full rows going down the beach strip. It was hard to find a spot under the umbrella on the beach in front of the water so I suggest getting there early. It was easier to find a spot on the days when there was high wind because alot of people didn’t want to be on the beach then (red flag on the beach for the wind) but I still had a great time!
I’m gonna go there in May! Is there a lot of people smoking on the site? Also, do you get new towels everyday?
Ahw you’ll have so much fun. I would go back right now if I could! So I think I only smelled cigarette smoke once and never smelled any of the other kind lol. We got new room towels every day - they were super good on cleaning!
We also got new pool towels every day because we would turn in our pool towels at the end of the day and then they would give us our pool cards back.. then the next day head down to the towel area by the pool and turn in the cards and get clean towels. @@theeestherperez ohhh I’m going there in May as well!! Do they have any dress codes for the restaurant? Can I wear swimsuits with see through cover ups at least to the buffet?
The dress code at the resort is no straight up swim suits - I wore like knitted cover up and it was fine. I did see some mesh cover ups in there as well! Honestly my last time at a resort in Cancun I wore like a bandeau top (or however it’s spelled 😵💫) and the front desk host made a comment like “we do have a dress code but you can come in it’s fine” so I’m not sure if they ever turn anyone away? Would love to hear if they have actually turned people away.. I would imagine as long as the important parts are covered then maybe it’s fine
Hello! Are there gluten free and dairy free options at the restaurants or buffet? Thank.
Off the top of my head I want to say I saw place cards at the buffet in front of food items that would say “vegan” or “gluten free”. For the restaurants aside from the buffet I think if you go into the restaurants and let the server know as soon as your are seated what your restrictions are they should accommodate. Hope this helps!
