- Let me tell you why you should speed sculpt more! In the video I sculpt Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog in Blender.

Which GPU you are using right now and how much gb GPU is better for rendering???
Sir Please Make some Tutorials For Beginners Like Some Basics Sculpting UV And Texturing Settings ♥️
agree!!!!
I agree...so we can sculpt as good as you can🙂
I bought them a while ago, they're super worth it 👌👌👌
i only do speedsculpts/ quick drawings because its a perfect start, you can always add details later. You are more motivated to last longer if you do progress faster
Wow, you are such a force for good. Not just inspiring us, but also reminding us how about spaced repetition and training like a master. Thank you.
Plz make full body, idc how many parts I just LOVE the design of tails
After I found your channel, I watched every single video of yours. Here is so much too learn.
Big respect for you Bro
Thanks 😊
Such an adorable rendition of Miles "Tails" Prower... I love the hint of blush you gave his cute little fox cheeks. Your work is amazing!
I would love to see a new course from you in blender 3
Defo need to do something like this been burned out for ages trying to work hair cards in blender, then moved to stylised hair an couldn't get it too look good an just stopped for like 2 months haha. I miss being in love with art but man it knows how to push buttons!
Being new to all this it crossed my mind only today that it might be beneficial to do some daily warm ups or routines. Because im learning 5-10 new things every day some of it sticks others get lost brain black hole. I was thinking of setting up a bunch of objects and go through the routine - arrays, loop bridges and so on until it becomes second nature and replace with something new. In a few months it might be speed sculpt, lighting, nodes, textures ect
Can you do more videos not just to show people how great you but to really teach your audience how to sculpt in blender from start to finish without speeding the video? Please, do 2 or 3 hours full tutorials for beginners to advance students. That will greatly be appreciated!!! Videos similar similar to speedchar video would be really amazing!
I always wonder how while your sculpting it looks as smooth as it does. I always get artifacts as I work and it gets discouraging.
Do you sculpt with dynamesh or remesh, either way sounds like your res isn't high enough?
I've encountered this issue, and while I don't think I have fully fixed it, I guess you could say I have some experience with it.
First of all, you need to understand that these artifacts or rough portions of the mesh look like that because of vertices cluttering (when they're too close to each other, Blender makes shadows stronger, thus the artifacts appear).
Secondly, the remeshing options matter. One of the most helpful options in the voxel remesher is the "Fix Poles" option or whatever that's called. It makes as few poles as possible in the generated mesh, because poles, while they're easier/faster to generate through remeshing, they make more vertices/edges close to eachother, producing this issue.
Try remeshing without this option and you will find..."points" in your mesh and once you see the wireframe, you will understand where these points of artifacts form.
Thirdly, try using as small of a detail level as you can. These points will appear once your mesh is flooded with a very high level of detail, so try keeping the poly count to a minimum, unless you need to increase the detail level. You can smooth the geometry/surface when it has a very high level of detail but that's impractical as it will require a ton of smoothing.
Fourthly, these "artifacts" at the end of the day don't really matter, because you will retopologize the mesh eventually. You may argue that they will affect the way you view your sculpts but from my experience, one of the biggest issues I've learned to just deal with is the fact that I have to sculpt something and make it look good without texturing it (my brain just really can't process the model and know when it's "done" without textures), so I think the same apply here with these artificats.
Best of luck 👍
It's like learning to draw - you need to train your dexterity to be able to draw straight lines, smooth arcs and circles, same way with sculpting. You practice it intentionally
Sorry if it was foolish comment but you made it so pretty cute ,
you are professional.
Nice. Here is an idea for a video: can you make a video for beginners on how to optimize your sculpting on PC since tablet is pretty expensive tool to start with and most people already own a capable PC. Maybe addons, tricks and tips working with mouse etc. Thank you.
This isn't a stand alone tablet it is connected to my pc, i already have something in mind for that regard :)
I'd like to see you do that on a regular tablet instead of a Cintiq. It's very easy to go into the speed train when you have that kind of direct feedback.
Please make some tutorials for beginners about the basics of sculpting. I am a 2D animator just starting out. I animate using Krita. I want to learn Blender.
😆'thanks so much I'm gonna try that!!!
YanSculpts: Gotta go fast!
Starting out myself with sculpting so this seems like a good practice to incorporate.
Something I find myself wondering is if one should strive to speed sculpt with a reference, without a reference, or maybe a mix of both.
Go with for the most part

Subbed to shorts, now I'm 275% confident that I can 'start' speed sculpting 😁
Next full moon...yes
Step 1 : *know how to sculp*
whoa wow! hello, if i may ask. how did you merge the meshes of the head and the fur/whiskers at 1:13 while keeping the end topology at 3:00 so clean? :O
God damn! Wish I could do this! Love Tails!
That's some nice eyes!
Really niceeee! I have a few question...
When I have to use Dyntopo or Remesh? It's just two different type of sculpting? And what's the main difference between them? Thanks ^^
With Dyntopo you're adding to the mesh you're adding geometry new vertexas and new faces and new edges....with regular sculpting you're just manipulating the vertex and edges and faces that are already there👨
Said sculpt and sculpting so many times
His facial expression reminded me of boji from osama ranking
I get a full patreon if later I see a Nick Wilde modeled and rendered.
Wooow.😍
Very nice ❤️❤️❤️
That might work for me I only have a half hour to play with each day
Not mentioned in this video but see if you can make your day more efficient, I save hours doing that
@@yansculpts if I may ask. What would you suggest as far as being more efficient?
Hmm depends on how you are inefficient in your day.
For example I use a stop watch when i work, evern ever i lose time (dose off, watch videos, etc) or lose focus, i stop it.
I then see how many hours i spent working vs how many hours i really worked. Surprisingly you tend to waste a huge amount of time not working while working, so i taught myself focus to do the same with less hours.
Also sleeping less if you sleep too much* waking up faster, wasting less time getting ready in the morning, being more efficient with cooking etc. No one can be efficient 100% by nature, so you can find hours throughout the day figuring out your inefficiency.
@@yansculpts Thank you!
welcome!
Ya made tail a little extra fluffy
Great 🥰🥰
Does Yan retopologize? I don’t see it in the time lapse. Is there some other way to not need to retopo? I’m familiar with multires but can you use that the whole way through? If you need to retopo I’ll do so but it always seems that in his videos that he bypasses retopology somehow. Any insight?
pls make light tutorial
If it wasn't for Tails I wouldn't be here 😅
will there be an update on the course for 3.0? :( really love to have that.
I’m studying on the idea, I’ll give more info when i can!
Which GPU you are using right now and how much gb GPU is better for rendering???
How do you add meshes and shapes really fast like that?
Can you make tutorials for beginners
2022 ;)
Lets goooo
Hola buenos días soy liomexow oye me podrías SpeedSculpt por favor 😁😁😁
You mean Speedsculpt the addon?
No!
What software do you use for sculpting??
Blender
Do you use custom brushes?
Nope!
Hello my lord i gentily ask u to yell me how i can start sculpting with a graphic tablet just like u, thank you in advance
Why i talked like this i have no idea
Connect the tablet, download and install the driver of your tablet, not sure if that's what you are asking?
Graphics tape ????
Xp pen 24 qhd

i bet your worst sculpt can beat my best
First
but this is too speedy.
Speed sculpt more often? Amusing that anyone believes I can sculpt anything but ugly monstrosities.
